GLAY. They have a song for basically every occasion at this point, and there are so many different sounds to explore. Every time I put all my GLAY songs on shuffle I end up with a new appreciation for a different track.

I've been playing through Fallout 3 and New Vegas for the first time this year, and I also found out about a month ago that Tiger Army released an album that I completely missed a few years back. It's kind of hilarious how similar the aesthetic of the video for the lead track is.

If they did a challenge where they bought a bunch of stuff from the dollar store, had all the members decorate the shirts with it and then wore them onstage for a special show or something, I'd back it 100%, tbh.

Getting sent to "the wall" in school. It was for a dumb reason too. I kicked a pinecone, and for some reason the teacher thought that was dangerous or something? It mostly just rolled across the ground and didn't even hit anyone, so I don't really know what she was thinking. Also, getting thrown off a horse. Happened once when I was a little kid. I barely remember it, and I wasn't injured or anything, but it definitely took a bit of the glamour out of horseback riding for me.

Disappointed that he's not dressed up as a lion with a name like that, tbh.

I like a few of their songs, and I really like Chizuru's voice, so I'm kind of sad, but they had a decent run by modern VK standards. They produced quite a few releases, and they played around with all kinds of different styles, both musically and visually (personally, the variety in Pentagon's sound was the main thing I liked about them), so I feel like the timing is good. Like, I feel satisfied that Pentagon lived up to whatever potential they had together and now feels like a good time for them to try something new. I'm curious to see what everyone ends up doing in the future.

Every time I try to give Bleach a shot all I can think is "This is it? Why is this so popular?" I love series like D. Gray-man, Yu Yu Hakusho, etc., that have a similar premise, and the characters look like something I'd enjoy, but I watched the first three episodes and just felt incredibly bored. It felt like a chore to get even that far.

People have never heard the expression "apple polisher" before? It's another way of saying "suck up" - like a Lisa Simpson/Martin Prince-esque teacher's pet kind of person that blatantly sucks up to authority figures in the hopes of getting some sort of reward.

Lol, it was mainly the juxtaposition of the plushie and the bracelet that reads "I am Miya I am sadness" that made me laugh, but I don't follow MUCC closely enough to know if that's a regular slogan of his as well.

I've never really followed MUCC all that closely, but these Miya birthday merch designs are hilarious.

^Yeah, it feels extra surreal because recreational pot just became legal here recently, so I'm seeing ads for cannabis products everywhere and hearing all these news reports about what a booming industry it is, but then this kind of reaction is still happening in Japan. The zero-tolerance attitude the Japanese media and record labels take towards things like this still just feels so over the top. Both of my favourite (ex-)members of KAT-TUN got arrested for the same thing recently, and they both had all their music activities cancelled, gave tearful apologies to the press and disappeared for a bit, so I feel like that's probably going to be the pattern this follows as well...

I'm a big Dragon Ash fan, and I like RIZE as well, so I was so sad to hear about this. It's so frustrating that, even in the best case scenario, they're both probably going to have to go into public apology mode and disappear from the scene for a while. I saw RIZE do a showcase years ago in Canada, and while I only like about 1/10 of the songs they put out, they really shine live. KenKen especially. He has so much energy, and he's so fun to watch. So when he joined Dragon Ash after Ikuzone died, I was really happy. I think he's one of the few bassists with a weird enough vibe to take over for him, and the fact that he has just as much love for him as the other members always made me feel like it was such a great fit. It sucks that they're probably going to have to fire him. Especially over something as silly as getting caught with pot.

Yeah, this track is a winner. Looks like he's going to be a good fit.

I love Lida's Frontiers look so much. Aya has had a lot of interesting hats as well.
