Really digging this band. I wish more Black Metal bands had this good of a production, most of them sound like they have been recording on a Casio calculator.

The vocalist comes from a Deathcore background, which explains why I'm liking this so much.

Yeah, I love Kenny Beats. His overall production style is just fire and incredibly versatile, but without loosing his Kenny touch. Best thing he did is the Netflix and Deal album with 03 Greedo, followed by Anger Management with Rico Nasty. Took me a while to get into the album, but when I first did I just couldn't get enough of it.

This one off Freddie Gibbs' Freddie is fire. Both rappers spits fire over a beat that's just beyond everything. When you sample something as legendary as Boyz-n-the Hood you better do it justice, and they sure as hell did.

Also check out Kenny Beats' The Cave. Both seasons are FIRE and among the better youtube shows out there. A new guest every week with people like Denzel Curry, Rico Nasty, Danny Brown, Slowthai, 6lack, Sada Baby, Joji, The Alchemist & Boldy James, Jpegmagia, Freddie Gibbs, Earthgang etc. It's awesome!

Alucarda - That's the good shit. Satanic panic horror from the '70s that's just oozing with atmosphere. Very beautifully shot, the set design is amazingly well done and anyone who's into the atmospheric gothic horror stuff will surely love it just for the visuals alone. The plot itself is just the usual 'demonic corruption' stuff that's been done to death by now, but the somewhat dreamlike manner in which everything is presented makes it work anyway. There's the occasional bout of overacting that veers a bit too far into the 'too silly for its own good' territory, but overall this one's definitely well worth watching.

Yes! It's amazing. Next year he'll release In Search of Tomorrow, which will be the same but about sci-fi movies. I can't wait!

Look out for In Search of the Last Action Heroes as well. Not as good, and much of that due to only being half as long, but totally recommended if you like 80 and 90's action.

There's popped up a lot of cool documentaries about horror, action and exploitation film these last 10 years. Really looking forward to seeing Smoke and Mirrors: The Story of Tom Savini and Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror too. Looks neat!

Aye, but there's a big story behind it and for years upon years the denied he was the director of the movie as he used an alias. But he's just really embarrassed by the movie, which I can understand. But fans of sleaze and cheap eurotrash has taken it to their hearts, which is a good thing.

Yeah, this was really cool. Am I totally off if I say this movie was like Cube meets Snowpiercer meets High-Rise? Well, Snowpiercer is the horizontal High-Rise, and High-Rise is the vertical Snowpiercer. So Cube meets Snowpiercer/High-Rise, I guess is more accurate.

Anyway, awesome movie. Got a message, got violence, blood and gore, got some hilarious moments etc. Thanks for the recommendation!

I've been on a Jean Rollin kick lately and I thought The Grapes of Death was really good. Great atmosphere and some good gore thrown around. That one, including The Iron Rose, might be my favorite of his. Also really enjoyed Lips of Blood, it had such a fairytale like feel to it. Last night I watched Zombie Lake and either I just have really bad tastes, but I didn't think it was as bad as the rating people give. Alright, there's a lot of nude in this one, it begins with a 4-minute nude scene, and then later a 4-minute sex scene and it doesn't quite stop there. Even the way the zombies attack people look almost erotic sometimes. But I enjoyed the father and daughter reunion bit and that was enough to make up for all the issues going on in the film for me.

My favorite was always season 2 (Asylum), which really went totally over-the-top imo. Season 3 (Coven) is fun in a campy way, but barely any horror.

After those, I always just started watching some seasons and then quickly got bored or disinterested, so I can't vouch for the other ones.

Finally saw Color Out of Space, it surely delivered on the atmosphere, visuals and overall entertainment factor. Always love to see Nic Cage, this was no exception. Rest of the cast were really solid too, bonus shoutout to the alpacas and their milk. Some really brutal creature effects going on there too. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I don't know where you are, but in Norway they expect this to get worse. Right now there's something like 750 infected here, but by august they expect at least 800.000 having been infected. So they think this is the beginning, but don't expect it to really blow up before May-ish, with May-August being the time where shit'll hit the fan.

And no, this ain't dangerous for normal, healthy people. The problem with this virus is that, they believe, it spreads HELLA LOT faster and easier than the swine flu, which means it'll reach more people which again means it'll reach a lot of people will lower immune defense a lot easier as well, which again will mean loads and loads and loads of deaths. And if things continues like it has for the last month this is gonna hit poor countries without proper health care, without the ability to handle situations like this, pretty hard and soon enough, and people will most likely start falling like flies in parts of the world. So let's just hope the experts are wrong and that this is the end of the COVID-19, and not the beginning.

I personally consider this one of the greatest crime movies/thrillers of all time. The plot, cinematography, acting, characters, music, chemistry between the actors and so on. Everything is spot on. Think I must've seen this movie 20+ times or more. Incredible!

Not sure if I am familiar with either of those bands, but dear god does those two covers look good. Perfect timing too as I am listening to tons of punk again. Mostly screamo for now, tho. But good timing nonetheless.

By the motherfucking way, speaking of Paysage d'HIver:

    Paysage d'Hiver - Im Wald

13 tracks, 5 instrumentals, two fucking hours of music. They had a listening party for the album back in January, with exclusive Paysage d'Hiver beers and everything. But the physical release is right around the corner. Interestingly enough, this is actually considered an album, unlike the previous 10 which is counted as demos.

Fuck, I'd kill to be able to attend this. This surely is how you create a listening party that's interesting. Usually listening parties is just totally uninteresting, but this I'd kill to attend. Damn.

    Edit:

    Sounds sweet as hell.

I was just about to go here and post the same thing basically, haha. Every bit as great as the first season! It felt too short tho, could've watched it for a few more eps, but not gonna complain because it was all quality all the way.
