Vo’t kaRma will disband after their live at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU on 2017/03/30.

スタア区。(Star-ku) will disband after their last one-man live "子供の正義" at Ikebukuro EDGE on 2017/05/25. Their last single "それでも僕は抗う(soredemo boku wa aragau)" will be released on 2017/04/12 (1 song, 1,080yen).

Hirohiro is down with flu and he'll miss the first leg of their last oneman tour (at Sendai). Wataru will be on vocals that day. Hopefully he'll recover in time for Nagoya x.x

i made a simple video with vistlip's 'caramel macchiato'! unfortunately it's blocked in 5 countries including the US so you'd have to use a proxy or something to view it if you live there. SORRY NOT SORRY for the huge tomo bias lolol i love a lot of vistlip songs to death but this has got to be 1 of my top 5. i've translated the lyrics so that those of us who can't read japanese can get a glimpse of what their lyrics tend to be about, and maybe understand why out of 10 japanese vistlip fans you ask 5 of them will tell you that they love vistlip because of tomo's "sekaikan" (worldview). tomo's lyrics are one of a kind - they are really banal, quotidian, but at the same time also extremely cinematic, allusive, and moving he once said that he never cared for the grand abstract ideas, cos the real important things can be found in the fleeting moments from day to day. i hope you like it and comments are welcome!

not that familiar with OOR, but aren't they big enough to actually do something about the same fans hogging the front row? most vk bands ban shikiri once they start doing lives at the bigger venues anyway, so i'm surprised OOR still has this problem. as for "crazy fans" in general: i draw the line at the point where a fan's display of affection for the band and/or its members intrudes upon other fans' ability to do the same. until that point, i wholeheartedly support fans who are comfortable with being as crazy as they want. yes i may have no idea what blackdoll is going on about 90% of the time, but it's her prerogative to say what she wants about Lycaon. if you love something/someone, just show it? tbh it bores the hell out of me to associate with people who are constantly hedging and checking themselves to make sure that they don't lapse into their 'fangirl' mode because that's somehow inappropriate. but really, for vk at least, many people can't seem to accept that music is only one part of the lived experience of a bangya, especially so if you happen to live in japan. i'm still astonished every time someone claims that only when you're level-headed enough to extricate yourself from the 'craziness' of the scene and be able to discuss the band's cadences and progressions (not even lyrics, mind you) in the same way a bunch of paleontologists examine fossil records with measured excitement can you finally be crowned a card-carrying Mature Fan. clearly the irony isn't lost on people who quite fearlessly denigrate other sections of the fanbase for their supposed 'elitism'.

Last night Anfiel held their biggest oneman live yet at Shinjuku BLAZE (capacity 800) to commemorate the band's 2nd anniversary!!!! It was wonderful to have Hal back just in time for such an important occasion (he missed their last few lives/instores) :'DDD So many people were there to see them!!!! (photos below) I can't put into words how proud I am of these guys T_______________T Here's the setlist As expected they began with lamplight and rounded off the encore with timeless. By this point pretty much every anfiel fan i know can remember the lyrics of timeless by heart and like everytime we sing it we just die. Also, sense of wonder was supposed to be the last song in the main set but the members suddenly decided to perform Aqua before the encore <333333333333333 I guess the fans really wanted to hear it??? Anyway I think @echomight write her thoughts on the live when she's free so for now I'll just post some pics!! アンフィル(Anfiel) will release a new album "PARADISE LOST" (2 types) on 2017/04/19. Limited edition (3611 yen + tax) will include 11 tracks+DVD, while regular edition (3056 yen + tax) will have 13 tracks. Live DVD of today's oneman "アンフィル 2nd Anniversary Oneman Live 「Lamplight&feel.-equal-」@新宿BLAZE" will be released on 2017/05/17 (5000 yen + tax). Anfiel will also have a fan meeting "祭&feel. 2017 春" at Shibuya Rex on 2017/04/02. They will hold a oneman tour "一石を投じる" across Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka in August-September.
