Duuude, you have to check out Torture! One of their best works imo. Their last one (Skeletal Domain) is okay too. Can't remember Evisceration Plague at all tho, haha. But yeah, you should totally listen to Torture, if nothing else. That album and Gore Obsessed might be among my fav CC albums ever.

^ Nice! I'm gonna be seeing them towards the end of July.

I used speakers plugged into a laptop, truly only got 1 out of 6 right, but 4 other times I just picked the 320 kbps ones... so I guess my mentality got validated, heh (that I don't care about lossless, or at least can't hear the difference, 320 is fine enough for me).

^ Glad you dig METZ! A friend of mine recommended them to me, never heard of them before. Cool stuff. If you're into this style, another amazing album (that was released back in March but I only recently discovered it): http://superluxury.bandcamp.com/album/ten-solid-years-of-applause And you can't really go wrong with She Past Away, both of their albums are practically the same quality.

In the eternal words of the @Bear: There weren't many standout albums for me in May but anyway, here are my top picks: METZ - II / Dirty, noisy alternative rock with a biting acidic edge. There's nothing more to say really. If you liked this, check out their first album too, also good. Perfect to let off some steam. High-Functioning Flesh - Definite Structures / Sounds and feels like a kickass synthy industrial/EBM record from the early '90s that you can just dance to and feel good/bad/sad/whatever you like. Just great. She Past Away - Narin Yalnızlık / The Turkish princes of goth are back! Floaty synths, twinkly guitars, minimalistic arrangements and deep deep vocals make this a record just as good as their debut. I approve.

Yeah, those are the ones I was speaking about. Truly baffling how they could green-light them...
-
I already cried a river for this... ;____; I really really hope the album will make it into wider, more accessible distribution this time around.

Wow, the covers are horrific, lmao.
-
oooh~ nice!

^ He's been ill for quite a while now, he had some sort of damage to his neck at one of the shows iirc. edit: to quote Trombe: This was in 2013 October tho... hope he'll be better soon. (I think I've heard they only let him play the encores at shows for now)

doctor kei make my kokoro go dokidoki~ edit: it seems like the OHP got a well-deserved facelift too. The discog section looks much better at least.
-
lol, seems like every second random old-school band is reviving these days... Not that I'm complaining. ;v
