  3. Sweet! Their first mini was really enjoyable.

^ "Dawn of..." is real good, I agree! The previous movie wasn't bad either, but this one totally takes the cake. Gotta love how they finally managed to make the apes look realistic.

^ I agree, Burial Ground is loads of trashy fun, but still has a nice atmosphere (and those...other features you wrote about xD), and Inferno is a classic! Haunting and nightmareish, yesss

I mean, I enjoy some music from horror flicks when they're playing, but never actually sought them out on purpose to listen to separately. xD Well okay, only some of Goblin's stuff. So I guess my disappointingly vague list is like: 1. John Carpenter 2. Goblin 3. random '80s retrowave 4. that Popol Vuh soundtrack from the 'newer' Nosferatu movie
  7. ^ That's a pretty interesting concept. Looking forward to how they'll sound~
  8. Hope the guitarist does a chainsaw solo in the full version.

Went to a random gig on a weekday to an intimate venue cuz it was cheap and the artists seemed interesting, haha. Slovenian band Ludovik Material was the opening act. They weren't exactly lame, but a weird choice to pair with the main act. They sounded like a low-budget nu-metal band trying to play industrial rock and failing at it a bit. It was okay for the time being anyway. Main act was Shilpa Ray, an Indian-American singer/songwriter accompanied by a two-piece backing band. Very nice mellow and floaty indie-blues kind of stuff. She played a harmonium most of the time while singing, so the whole package had an interesting bittersweet folky tinge to it. Evening saved! Some crappy pics I took (first row, babyyy) ...and a video someone else shot:

Okay, here's the "actual" short version, much longer than the CF ver. I linked above. xD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIrR7Hvf_Vo

https://youtu.be/TowBPF993vI It's pretty short alright, lol.
  13. I do hope the list will feature cali≠gari's 12, and/or sukekiyo's VITIUM, and/or THE MORTAL's I AM MORTAL, and/or KEEL's amazing mini albums, otherwise I'll begin to lose faith in all y'alls tastes. ;v

Lovin' that pic! Also, minor info: according to their twitter, the band will upload the short version of their PV on Youtube tomorrow. edit: Title of their demo CD is "FENCES ep"

  16. Okay, it turned out to be quite decent, heh. Also, the recording quality adds a bonus charm imo.

The right side of the photo says "PYRAMID OF THE MOON Co. LTD." - after some digging around I found them connected to D'espairsRay (on account of photo shoots) around 2005, particularly the Murder Day DVD which was released in that year. So yeah, I'd say around 2005-ish (there's a date next to the "PYRAMID..." sign, but it's hard to read, could be anything from 2003 to 2006).
