MOTHER FUCKER! Hizumi still remains as one of my favorite vocalists. Worst Jrock news in a long time (for me at least).

    Reminds me of this

    lol...minesweeper.

I can't decide if this is lame or cool...
  5. It sounds like you are just signing over the original vocals instead of cutting them out a bit first. Also, the audio quality of that was so bad that I don't think I could even begin to judge if your singing was good or not...lol

    I like your watch

Glad you guys all like it! I love it

Totally agree with you there. The first time I checked out mono they bored the crap out of me. But now I love them! I almost feel like they need a specific mood to be listened too, at least in my opinion. I love working to them

Someone should just get in a fight with all the band members and beat the shit out of them. Maybe they will learn something from that That said I don't even care if it is LIKE Color, just as long as it isn't as boring!

It was extremely unprofessional to say the least. All you need to do is send a mix out from the board to people recording for a great audio mix...really sad.

This live stream is a joke! Between the karaoke that interrupted most of girugamesh to the shitty ass sound quality of Dead End's performance (what the hell, they must have just been recording it from a mic in the audience, and a terrible mic at that) this is just sad.
  12. While I have to say I am not overly found of Steven Wilson's vocals, I still love their music. The Incident is a freakin awesome album as well

Fuck yeah to Dead End. Mucc and Girugamesh (yeah, I still enjoy them, what of it? XD) should be sweet too.

Pelican is very hit or miss for me, some of their stuff is just plain awesome and some of it is kind of boring. Been doing some listening to Explosions In The Sky because of Pandora lately, they have some really good songs.

I fucking know! The concert in Chicago recently had it fair share of fan girls, there was a tiny break in between songs and some of the fan girls were yell ::insert band member's name here:: daisuki! Can't stand that bullshit so I scream "Fuck the fan girls, give us metal!" A lot of the non-fangirls backed me up, was pretty awesome. I ended up knocking around a ton of fan girls during the show, there is no way I wasn't going bat shit during garnet. Herd one of the fat chicks by me during the concert complaining to her friends about it afterwords about it and I told her to shut up, lol. And seriously, D'espairsRay was freakin calm compared to Boris show I saw later in the week. That said, either D'espairsRay or Russian Circles would get my top vote for bands I have seen live. Completely different feel to their shows, D'espairsRay has so much energy and Russian Circles is pretty much everyone standing there just fucking amazed. I love the fact that during the Russian Circles live they put the drum kit right up front because Dave Turncrantz drumming is almost the star of the show, just absolutely stunning. That said I can't say I really have experienced a bad concert. The worst maybe was Korn because the sound was just bad, so much so that it ruined most of the performance. Favorites live DVDs? Either ABS or D'espairsRay?

Apparently XDI am off to see Russian Circles tonight, should be an awesome time. I'll for sure be checking out some of the bands that you guys listed though, although I have listened to The Talking Fish, they were alright, but nothing to write home about imo.
  18. Well, you see, Jake and I decided to make a love child. We named it tainted world. How it didn't end up failing is a miracle

  20. I've been on a post rock kick lately, wanted to know if anyone else enjoyed the genre. Some of my favorite post rock bands are Russian Circles, Capricorns, and Mono

Twas an awesome show in Chicago, worth the drive. I was really pissed though because I was planning on leaving my apartment at 4:00 with my friends so I was ready to go by 3:30. My friends didn't show up till 5:20...I was about to go off on them as I was really anxious, pissed off, and frustrated but I kept my cool because yelling at them would have only made for a really shitty car ride down. I drove as fast as I possibly could, got caught up in some traffic, but managed to make it inside just at the end of Death Point. I pushed myself up from the back to about 2-3 feet away from the stage by the end of the show. The set list was pretty good, lots of stuff from Monsters, but surprisingly little from Redeemer. Was hoping for more from Coll:set (i.e. In Vain) but we only got Infection. Garnet was probably my favorite of the show, but pretty much everything was great. Surprisingly there were no slow songs, Abyss coming the closest, which was kind of sad because I needed a breather! I sweated more than I have in a looooooong time there, mainly cause I was going all out for pretty much the whole show. Here's the set list which Evan was taking down during the show, the only one that I am not sure of the placement is Progress.: Death Point dope Love is Dead going on REDEEMER 13 -Thirteen- SIXty NINe Human-clad Monsters Angeldust Infection CROSSED ARROWS Abyss Falling Devils' Parade Progress Hollow Garnet Reddish-Diva Version- Fuyuu Shita Risou Also: Fuck the fangirls, give us metal!
