Sure thing. Beats is an example of having great marketing. Beats by Dr. Dre, just look at the name. You are buying headphones that are branded by a Rap artist...he is not a sound engineer and it is entirely marketing. What you are getting when you are by beats are good looking headphones that are insanely overprices and sonically terrible. I have spent some time in a store listening to them, if I could describe them in one word it is "bloated bass." The bass is very very strong, but it sounds very muddy and when you hit the volume very high the distortion is very obvious in the low end. The fact is that you are far better off buying a pair of headphones from a different company for half the price and will sound twice is good. I guess if all you care about is looks...but I hope to god this isn't the case. I would be astonished if Dr. Dre actually used this for his actual recordings and mastering. On that note, Beats are from a company called Monster Cable...and if you know anything about them this should be more than enough to make you want to buy anything from them. They lie about their products (high end HDMI cables lolololol) and one of the most socially irresponsible companies I know of. They will sue anyone and everyone that tries to use the word Monster in their name (for example: Mosters Inc, Monster energy drink, and even small mom and pop places like Monster mini-golf). Essentially, don't buy Beats headphones. End of story [/rant]

This is only a good start...a few of these make me cringe...

I am gunna go ahead and claim this as the most overrated movie in a while. It was a good movie, but I wouldn't even call it great. It might have been even better if the snow base scene wasn't so dumb, I was lol-ing (in a bad way) the whole time I was watching that scene, it was so cheesy, reminded me of something I would expect from an old James Bond flick.

Sennheiser, Audio Technica, and AKG all get a bump from me. I can't speak much for Klipsch, I only know their speakers and I am not very fond of their sound. As for Skullcandy, if you want to look stylish for a relatively cheap price, this is what they do best. If you want the best sound quality look elsewhere. All I have to say though is for the love of god don't buy "beats by dr. dre."

First off, I would like to clarify to everyone that this is Jake and my creation. With that out of the way, lets move on. Dai, you did a good job at being a webmaster. You put a lot in to this project. But I never felt that I handed over the right to Tainted World to you. When you left us, put me on limited profile of facebook and blocked me on aim, I felt like I had been betrayed, that Jake and my project had been taken from us. But in the end we regrouped, moved on, and revived Tainted World. You were a great help, but we have moved on with out you and found people that we have gained trust in that have taken your place. I now consider them to be my friends and have put a lot of work together with them. Now you come back to us apologizing, I understand that your situation sucked and you needed a lot of help. But you hurt us, we felt betrayed. You now asked us to put our precious project, our community, back in your hands when we already feel like we have been going strong with out you. I don't even think I need to explain why I was apprehensive. You have something that we felt was ours, the TaintedWorld.net domain. We had been waiting for the domain to expire and then repurchasing it, seeing as we had thought that you had dropped off of the face of the planet. So obviously we would (as still do) love to have that domain name back. But we weren't ready to give you back the power you had on the original TW. Even working with you felt like it would have to be like walking on eggshells. It was obvious that you were going to have to gain our trust back before we wanted you on the team. When I told you that, it seemed like you understood what I was saying and where I was coming from. Around 24 hours later is seems that you have flip flopped. Not only are you refusing to give us the domain, but you are setting up a site to rival ours, more or less treating it like we had to join you to continue. Honestly, I felt furious, like not a word said has sunk in. My rage has calmed and I am trying to look at this clearly now. I have no problem on you working on a project, and I can say that I really hope that it turns out amazing. I am a huge fan of jrock, and if you make a forum and database that is amazing, I will be the first one to use it and enjoy it. If you make something outside of jrock, I hope turns out awesome as well. Just please don't take our own work and turn it against us. I understand what Tainted World means to you, it means a lot to me if not more. But you left it behind, and Tainted World moved on. If you want to slowly gain our trust back, fine. If you want to move on and do something better, more power to you. But please don't try and take Tainted World from us. It's not your's and you can't have it, although you can be apart of it.

Merry Christmas to all the people who celebrate it! I honestly hope that everyone has an amazing day! What are you guys doing for Christmas? Get anything cool? XD Give anything epic? How did they react?! I am waiting to give my mom a print of a panoramic photo I took a few months ago, the print is 2" x 6"....freakin huge and it looks awesome, I think she is gunna love it.

I know I am going to get hate for this, but 9goats' Tanatos. I just didn't enjoy the album at all, nothing enjoyable on it at all. Also, Fake?'s switching on X, which was easily the worst fake album ever and had really crappy production quality for what ever reason. huge disappointment.

I must say, there hasn't been much Jrock this year that I have loved. D's 7th Rose, Fact's In the Blink of an Eye, D'espairsRay's Monster, and ABS's Abingdon Road were all good, but nothing that blew my mind. My favorites of this year are mostly non-jrock: Eluveitie's Everything Remains as it Never Was, Ereb Altor's The End, Karma to Burn's Appalachian Incantation, and God Is An Astronaut's The Age of the Fifth Sun were all great albums. Sadly though, I still feel like this year was a very weak year for music. Hopefully that just means next year will be amazing.

The steam holiday sale has been going on for the last few days and it is going to be going on for the next few, with new games everyday. Anyone who is interested in computer games really should check it out, even if they don't have a great video card (there are some awesome, not very graphics demanding, indie games). Since the sale has started I have bought three games, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for $7, Just Cause 2 for $7.50, and Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale for $6.80...these deals have been freakin' sweet. Really, if you have steam, check it out. If you don't, download steam right now and buy some games, lol.

FUCK! HELL YES! I have never been so excited about a video game release that I can remember. The first two Golden Sun's are my favorite handheld video games (just replayed the 1st one). I picked up the 3rd one, what, two weeks ago, but I have been so swamped with school and work that it hasn't even come out of the shrink wrap yet. However, it is winter break for me right now and I plan on playing the shit out of it. What's your favorite parts of the first two? What do you think about the new one?

Kinda sad, but to completely honest, they have been doing the same thing for the past few years and I am almost suprised they didn't disband earlier. They have been going strong for a long time, it is only understandable that they would eventually wear out, especially after the most recent releases.

Better than there last single which was utter garbage, but still nothing special. Seriously? What about Kowarete Iku Sekai?!?
