The same thing I do every day, try to take over th......wait no, try and find a job.
  2. Did you like The Human Abstract? I was pissed when I found out they were playing in Milwaukee about 3 hours before the show was going to happen, no way I was going to be able to make it on such short notice. Last show I went to was Boris and Russian Circles in Chicago. It was awesome, not gunna lie.

Kirito's voice sucks. I mean, it's not terrible...but it sure as hell isn't good.

I don't think you did, lol Lol, yeah, I would agree with with. However, I am going to try and keep mine going even after I get a job, you never know who you could help.

I heard about this about two weeks ago...fucked up stuff really. Then I thought about it. That dude met that chick at Acen, which is most likely the con they were talking about (in Illinois). I have been to Acen the last few years. I have pictures of a Reita cosplayer. No idea if that is the same guy, that shot is from 2010, but it sure is extra creepy.

VERSUS was the last thing I really liked from -OZ-, and I think this release at least comes close. That said, I have only given it one listen so far.

what? seriously, not to be an asshole or anything like that but I can't believe that there are people who doesn't know about LUNA SEA. I'll do a detailed review later I wtf-ed at that too. Ryuuichi is a boss. His song, PT's, and Sadie's were the only songs worth while off of this album. I had high hope's for Penicillin's track but it kinda sucked. The rest were just god awful and pure lulz.

Moving this in to General Discussion, I really don't see any need to have it in Toasted Waffles.

No, not really. My status: "Rest in Peace Steve Jobs. I have never liked Apple, but I can not deny you pushed the industry and have changed the world. You will be missed." Good quote from the man himself for the moment: ""Almost everything--all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure--these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart."

Finally broke 1000 post on MH...about damn time, right?
  15. The Glitch Mob Genres: Electronica, glitch hop, synthpop, industrial music I have been hearing them far too often in a lot of the skate edits I watch and I really enjoy some of the stuff they have put out, so I decided to check out their latest album "Drink The Sea." There are a few weak songs, and maybe overall the songs are pretty similar to each other, but I think it is a really killer album. Some of the beats I just find myself grooving with. Anyone else here a fan?

So, normally all the social networking stuff we do here is Facebook, Last.fm, Google+, but for those of us who are constantly trying to make ourselves more marketable, we have Linked In. I doubt that many people here use it. Hell, most of you really don't have a reason to use it, especially if you haven't gotten out of high school yet. If you have a Linked In account, I think it would be in all of our best interest to add each other. For the most part I can't really imagine that too many connections we make here will help, but you never know and I am really working on expanding my network. If you want to add me, go for it here: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/andrew-von-haden/36/b75/1b7 Just post about it here first so I know who you are for sure. Also, if you want other people from MH to add you, I recommending doing the same and posting you profile here. To those of you that don't have a Linked In, I can't really say that it is the latest and greatest in social networking. It is, however, invaluable when looking for a job. The more people you know, the more second degree and third degree people you know. What does that mean? Well, if you add me as a friend, you can see who I am friends with. And maybe I am friends with the HR person at company _________, where you are looking at a job in. So you hit me up and ask for me to put in a good word for you or something of the sort. And that is pretty much why Linked In exists. Don't feel obligated to make an account, but you never know when it might be useful.

I found this album incredibly underwhelming. Which is weird, since I liked the samples. Just nothing really sticks. I mean there are some cool parts in some songs, but no song as a whole really come off as "wow, that was awesome." INFUSE INTO - Borderline dubstep, and shit at that. What can you expect from an intro track though VENOMOUS SPIDER'S WEB - Dear lord, the intro reminds me of the stuff Girugamesh is doing now...and that is not a compliment. The rest of the song is alright, but intro section and when they repeat it...screw that, it is just so corny. SLUDGY CULT - Not a bad song, some good riffs, but after it is gone, I don't remember it ever happening. RED - Generic intro sounds for a generic sounding song. Honestly, only the vocals keep this song from being a total snoozefest. THE SUICIDE CIRCUS - I am not sure if I like some of the stuff they did in this song, but this is the most interesting ones off of the album. I like some of the riffs, but it is really the interesting mincing of the vocals that makes this song what it is. I think they should have taken it a bit further tbh. If you have something interesting going for a song, keep that up. While I do think this is a very interesting song and I can see it growing on me, it really relies on the vocals and electronic sounds to keep it interesting. SHIVER - ::snores:: Booooooooooooring. Once again, not really a bad song, it just doesn't have anything that is going to make me come back to this song again. MY DEVIL ON THE BED - I dig the marching beat that they start off with in this song, it makes it feel very militaristic. That said, only really the bass and the drums are interesting in this song, the vocals are kinda irritating, the screams kinda suck, the female vocal call back is just odd, and the guitars only do an alright job of imitating the beat. UNTITLED - Oh come on guys! You started off with a half decent intro, but then we get to the chorus and it feels like every ballad I have ever heard. Take out the chorus of this song and you would have something good going on, but the chorus is just so...blah. PLEDGE - Back to back ballads? Really guys? Also, this is the longest song on the album...but it just makes the song feel more boring instead of epic. It's not bad, it's just not intriguing in the slightest. RUTHLESS DEAD - Heaviest guitar tones on the album. I like this song for the most part, but the screams suck so much. I like the whispers more, they make the guitars feel that much heavier. I could also do without the "uplifting" parts of the song, it kills all the good things this song has going for it. God, this could have been a sweet song, but it kinda kills itself when you only want to listen to half of it. PSYCHOPATH - You would think that since I liked the heaviness of RUTHLESS DEAD then that this song would give me what I wanted. Unfortunately this song is a mess, it is fast and heavy without really knowing what it wants to do. It kind of chugs along and I am just waiting for it to run into a wall. VORTEX - Ugh, it's just like they are trying so hard to be relevant. Record scratching, dabs of auto tune, and electronic tones... Maybe it would work if they didn't feel like they are in here just to be here. TOMORROW NEVER DIES - This song seems to fall into the generic Gazette sound as well. Besides the obnoxious electronically altered vocals, there isn't much going on here worth listening to. I will admit that I did like 2:38 -2:58 mainly cause it was different and refreshing. The solo wasn't half bad either. OMEGA - Shit outro track, nothing more to say. Over all? Lots and lots of bland stuff, there are glimmers of hope in some songs, but usually not enough for me to ever bother spinning the track again. Best songs on the album? THE SUICIDE CIRCUS, MY DEVIL ON THE BED, UNTITLED, RUTHLESS DEAD, and even of those, I would say that Suicide is the only one that really latches onto something that is great. This album can't hold a candle to DIM. This is easily my least favorite Gazette album, and I didn't like Stacked Rubbish either. I am going to give it a few more plays just to give it a fair chance, but I can't see myself spinning this one again too much after that. Also, STOP USING CAPLOCKS YOU DUMB CUNTS! I don't make you look cool, it makes you look stupid.

Gunna put this out there...I can't stand AE. They never do anything interesting and just seem to fill the status quo for the US. If I am going to spend that much cash on clothing, it better be more original than anything they make. Sorry, done ranting xD
  19. I am just glad to see that Tora is still going. He still has one of my favorite voices, it would be such a shame for it to disappear.

Logitech Driving Force GT I ebay-ed this guy for fairly cheap. Condition isn't amazing, the person must have liked to snack and game, but after a good clean I am loving it. It works awesome, and while honestly I might be better at Gran Turismo with a controller, the wheel just is that much more...it is way more intense too.

I would never travel more than a state or two for a convention. Sure, they are blast, but they are expensive, exhausting, time consuming, and did I mention expensive? We have several cons here is Wisconsin that are pretty small (geekcon, nobrand con, and anime Milwaukee) and I haven't bothered to go to any of them yet xD

You should go with him and help me with my Jrock panel xD

Honestly, that argument holds no merit. Being black is perfectly natural, but it seems that white people had a problem with it for many many years...
