Ok, I have a legitimate question for all you ladies. So this last Friday I went down to Illinois to hang out with a lady friend of mine and I am trying to see if I should be reading in to anything here or not. Funny thing is we initially met because of the Jrock panel I did at Acen in 2009 and we have been good online friends since then. We have hung out a few times, but for the most part our friendship has been online. Now this is the reason I am trying to play this extra safe: After we had been online friends of a few months she said something along the lines of "it's good to have an online friend that is fun to talk to, I haven't had one of those in a while...all the guys I have had online all just have wanted to try and hook up with me." For that reason I am being extra careful about this. Too me, maintaining our friendship is more important that the possibility of a relationship...which is something I am kind of unsure of in general for myself at the moment. When we were hanging out Friday night, most of the time was just spent chilling on the couch, talking, and playing video games. It was a sectional couch and she really wasn't sitting very close to me. Hell, if I was basing this on her actions, I wouldn't think there is anything. She doesn't seem to be a very physical person. I mean, I normally hug all my friends when I see them, when I leave, etc, etc. But with here, I only hugged her when I left, and it for sure wasn't one of the best good buy hugs I have ever had lol. I can't tell whether she just isn't physical, she doesn't really care for me in that way, or if she is just waiting me to initiate that kind of stuff...as I said before, I am being pretty timid in that area because I don't want to ruin a friendship. The part that really got me was her words...and perhaps I am just reading in to this, but that is why I am posting this here so I can get the ladies interpretation. Kind of out of the blue while we were playing Uncharted she asked me if I had any lady friend at the moment (also, he tone of voice was a little different when she said it). I said no, obviously. "No one worth while?" she asked. I responded with "No, I am just unsure about relationships at the moment" or something to that effect. So I asked her if she had any guy friend she was look at. She responded with "well there is one that I think I might be interested in" and kind of left it at that...we kind of quickly left that topic too and talked about something else. So gals, am I suppose to read something into that? Does that mean anything or was it just talk? I appreciate any feedback xD

I, for the most part, judge games on how much fun had playing them. Sure, this is hardly the best RPG, it wasn't incredibly deep, and characters were pretty stock personality wise, and the game play wasn't overly unique. But I'll be damned if I didn't have more fun playing this game than I did any of the other RPGs I had played at the time. And if you have fun playing a game, that's ALL that matters. Also, this game was one of the best looking games on the Gameboy Advance when it came out. The detail in the environments, the pseudo 3D battle, the beautiful explosions. I'm sorry, but this game rocked visually. You may have not liked the art style (if you did, how go you stand JRPGs at all), but the game was gorgeous when it came out. That is NOT debatable.

Nonononononon...This is what guys THINK girls look for most in a man, not what a guy looks for in a girl.

So fucking close to beating Resonance of Fate on PS3, probably got about 10 hours or so left. Might try and go for platinum too, we'll see if I am completely sick of the game by the end lol

Ok, I am continuing a poll one of my friends started with all of her friends. She polled all of her female friends about which one they prefer most on a guy and then send the same question to all the guys asking them what they thought girls would think would be most important. I made for some really interesting results. So, Guys, what do you think girls look for most in a man? Girls, feel free to respond here, but don't vote. The thread for that is here: Click Me!

I am entirely with Champ here, the instrument are very good, and the compositions are fairly interesting, but the vocals are ok. That and it is kinda hard to judge at the quality that is on facebook.

that seems to be a predominant career choice here XD Got any of your work online? I would like to check it out. Same goes for you, Gin, though I have seen some of your stuff before.

Glad to have to you here! It always feels great to have a new member that really has some personality. We'll have to let him know

Furik, posts that are just a quote of someone else are not considered posts. If you don't say anything, your post is likely to get deleted.

We have one for anime, so why not manga?! xD Honestly, I feel that 9 times out of 10 the manga will be better than the subsequent anime of the same series. There are a few cases where that isn't true imo (Trigun come to mind), but for the most part I think it is almost all around better xD So, what are you reading? I just read the first volume of Drifters, the new manga by Kouta Hirano (Hellsing). It is interesting, I just hope to god he releases the volumes faster than with Hellsing, I started that in, what, 2003? and finished it in 2010. Yeah, took him 13 years (1997 – 2009) to finish a 10 volume series -___- I am also reading: Natsume Yuujinchou (volumes 3 and 4) Spice and Wolf (volume 4) Pastel (volumes 10-14) xxxHolic (volumes 3-4)

The simple fact is that Jobs was a flashy leader, he did things that brought him all sorts of attention... Obviously the same can not be said of Ritchie. He was really more of a behind the scenes guy, which pretty much is the same as his product. I mean, ask someone on the street if they know what an iphone is, I think we obviously know what the answer is there. Do the same for C and you will probably get the response of either "A letter" or "what?" Hell, you could probably do the same thing for Unix and most people would be like wtf are you talking about. He will be missed by the people who really care, and that's what matters.

Genres: acoustic, folk rock, instrumental, rock It is a cloudy and cold autumn day, it feel like a perfect day to listen to some of her music. If you haven't listened to any of her music yet, I really recommend checking out "Dreaming of Revenge," it's a fairly diverse album and kinda show all the different style that she does. But more than anything, it shows what I love about some her songs, just the floaty and airy feeling the give. I wouldn't rank her very high as a singer, but her voice really does grow on you and is very pretty in its own way...but more than anything, it's her instrumentals that I love...just getting lost in the images the sounds she creates gives. I've seen her once live at a small venue in Madison, it was really awesome, she kicks just as much ass live as she does on album. Lots of credit should go to her EVI player, Dan Brantigan, who adds a lot to the live feeling...it really is cool to see some of the sounds being created out of what is essentially an electronic trumpet.
