the only thing these bands have in common is having a japanese hue in their music. 
so basically we can also say that Kiryu is a Kaggra,'s copycat and even Memento Mori also Kaggra,'s copyband

Kiryu is one of my favorites bands, but i dont think Memento Mori really sounds like a copy of them. I like both tho.

not a big fan of their releases after 「夢」 ～ムゲンノカナタ～ but still really sad to see them go, if only because they were one of my biggest obsessions in 2009-2010. i still remember skipping school just to take a train down to suburban Osaka to get an autographed poster on release day XD
 
now if they can come together and start "from the beginning" (as their latest double A-side suggests) i'll be happy to back them again

In 11 years we didn’t feel it, not even when he were on hiatus. We ended up building our limits.

It’s annoying but I feel like I can’t say a thing.
 
Since we were together for 11 years I’m sure I’m going to cry when we disband.
 
But I just want to do live shows with a smile like always until the day it ends.
 
Lately, we’ve been told from some of our band-man friends that we looked depressed, and the fans also told us that we looked depressed on the letters they sent us. I thought that was nonsense. But honestly, we were depressed.
 
But when we are performing, sometimes I feel like crying, but despite that, it’s really fun. It’s fun because you all look like you’re having fun.
We don’t have many live shows like that left, but we’ll laugh a lot.
 
Other than that, when we were returning from our 11th anniversary one man show, my brother told me that no matter what he wanted to release a last single. When he told me it was going to be called good trip I laughed, but when he told me that it means that we had a nice journey, I felt like crying.
The other day when I went to Nagoya I got to hear the demo and I cried a lot.
I could really feel it.
 
We haven’t recorded it yet, but we are going to make this last CD the best thing. Please, look forward to it.

This is really, really unfortunate news. I loved them when they first started out and I was so happy when they came back from hiatus because the music they made then felt very special, like they really had vamped it up a lot. Ride-Hazard still blows my mind to this day. Ugh. So sad. But Hopefully this last live limited single is good and makes its way here sooner rather than later.

Yes, and?    What substantial difference would it make to the music if all these things were suddenly gone? The musical heritage and traditions of visual kei would remain intact nonetheless, and most importantly what does it matter if they cater to fangirls? Is the implication here that if visual kei ditched the aesthetic and became "serious music" catering to males in their 20's and 30's the artists then would aspire to some never before seen heights of musical integrity? Oh if finally I could take Gazette to dinner parties and church fund raisers and impress all my buddies! While OP here was being more modest than usual the folk who go about the issue, this is basically what was being said here: "I am ashamed of listening to music with musicians who don't look acceptable and only if they could ditch the aesthetic and move on to make serious real music!". The real irony in this usually is that the people who do move on from visual kei usually go to no greener pastures and instead masturbate over some awful garbage like metal bands fresh from their show at Wacken.   What people seem to often disregard is that no musical movement is void of extra-musical bells and whistles and musicians of all of them tend to fit a certain image often ascribed to the people who play the sort of music that they do. As if everything from indie rock to punk and bloody witch house didn't have a carefully thought out image to fill, and the reason why this is, is that the artists prefer it that way. If it weren't all about the looks then why do all the bands of particular scenes look exactly same? It is the culture which has developed hand in hand with the music itself, and they are inseparable. 
 
I can only deduce that people who would prefer their visual kei in backwards caps and cargo shorts are tasteless ingrates insecure about their own image.
