okay, so idk if this is necessarily unpopular, but from what i see around online it’s definitely polarizing.  but, why bother someone with some dumb shit if they’re not actually hurting anyone?  this can pertain to a lot of things, from liking comic book movies and not comic books, being really fuckin’ into anime, or other such things.  it can also be more serious (that’s probably not the right word since these things aren’t really a big deal anyway) things like being lgbt, specifically that whole rhetoric about there only being two genders (which tbh i’m not sure if people who say that are specifically referring to non-binary people, or trans folk as a whole most of the time).  even if that’s true (and i’m not saying it is), who cares?  aren’t there like, real problems to deal with?  i mean, i’m sure there’s smth more important going on than someone switching what pronouns they use depending on how they feel on any given day, or someone who likes the deadman wonderland anime but doesn’t really care to read the manga even though it’s basically a different story.  none of that stuff is super pressing.

That's difficult to get started if there are already more popular communities, though. Plus, it's difficult to find out news if you're not in a larger community.

There IS alot wrong with gatekeeping. It drives away potential people who are just interested in a fandom. Saying to a newcomer to a fandom “oh you can’t be in here you have to be a fan of x to be part of this fandom” is fucking bullshit.

In my eyes, I think younger people like myself should be able to speak out against problems or protest about something wrong.
 
Sure, you may disagree with it but I think people should have the right to speak their minds as long as your not promoting hate speech.
 
From my experience, I find that being offended is subjective as somethings that may offend you may offend others so saying that EVERYONE is offended about is a bit hypocritical since the people who tend to say those things often say offensive things to others TO get them offended but then complain about how everyone is offended now a days. 
 
Or the ones who say they aren’t offended and then proceed to get offended themselves

I think they may be referring to the fandom as a whole, which I suppose MH would fall into as well.
 
If I'm reading this right, you're trying to make distinctions as to why VK (and the artists we follow, more specifically) is appealing by old/new fans, and want to specifically correlate the various reasons provided down to the 2 sexes (stay back you others, we don't know what they mean yet)?
 
I don't think the answers will be so cut/dry as "X" likes this, and "Y" likes that , as you think they'll be. Too many factors at play.

all k-dramas are basically the same overall idea/plot but with a different setting.  rich man/poor woman, maybe one of them has some kinda super power or ability.  if one of them is important like an idol or ceo then they must be a complete asshole until they learn to love from some woman who is poor, but optimistic.  someone ends up in the hospital after a fight at some point too, making whichever one said the mean things feel bad with some sad piano music playing while they sit alone or maybe in a coffee shop, idk.

tbh kpop girl groups are far more interesting than boy groups.  girl groups seem to get more concept ideas and have better music overall.  i honestly don’t understand why boy groups are more popular since they p much just recycle the same 4 concepts for p much every release.  most of them sound p similar to me, too.  

with all these bands disbanding and people leaving, I often wonder whee did they all go.  Like I wonde what Katchan (ex Orange Range) is doing now or the other members of BORN and Screw whose not doing music now. What about Kouichi (Ex Kameleo)?

I read on another thread on here that Natsuki (ex -OZ-) now runs an avocado farm which I guess is his family's business. He was on TV about it and everything.

The worst type of close minded fans in my experience are the ones who only listen to music from a certain country or continent. More often than not these are people who only listens to asian music.

All beer is shit. How anyone could drink it is beyond me. It's one of those acquired taste things that you just drink enough until you get used to it. Most wine is awful, and sake tastes like pure ethol alcohol.
