I clearly went bonkers this month since I refrained from buying CDs during the month of December. Two more packages incoming (one from the Rarezhut stream and another containing live-limited NEXX and MoNoLith items.) About 20 total CDs o_o...
Needless to say, I'm excited.

Introducing a new type of shopping service!  One without prohibitive shipping charges!  This is primarily geared toward people in the USA, but there is a way to make it work for those outside the US.
 
It operates in the same way as a regular shopping service in that you email us your desired item, we'll send you back a price quote, you'll send us the money over PayPal, and we'll buy the item.  (We plan on making a webpage with a fee calculator to minimize back-and-forth messaging.)
 
At the cost of slightly-higher per-item fees, customers in the US will pay shipping from New Mexico rather than Japan.  We only charge an extra 3% fee to help cover PayPal fees, as well as a nominal 100 yen per CD and 200 yen per VHS.  (On top of what FromJapan charges)  The customer ends up saving a lot of money because the additional per-item fees pale in comparison to international shipping costs.
 
As with other RarezHut services, we can provide the digital copies service if the buyer would like.
Digital copies: Along with any cassette/VHS purchases, we offer high-quality digital copies made with professional-grade equipment free-of-charge. We realize that not everyone has the means to play these aging formats, but we aim not to let that get in the way of you being able to enjoy them!  
Q: How are you able to do this?  How do you make money from this?  This seems too good to be true.
A:  The short answer is, we don't expect to make money from this.  We have been brainstorming ways to make owning VK easier for the average fan for over two years now.  While RarezHut's webshop and streams do help this, it doesn't help the fan who wants newer releases.  Leveraging our existing relationship with FromJapan, we are able to charge the smallest-possible per-item price increase over multiple orders in order to pay for international shipping.
Is this a lot of work for absolutely no profit?  Yes, but we believe it will benefit the health of the community.  Could this spectacularly backfire and end up COSTING us money?  If we only get one of two orders then it very well will, but I believe it is still worth pursuing.  Great reward (a service to MH and the fandom as a whole in this case) has never come without that initial leap into the unknown.
 
Q: Can I only buy stuff from certain places? What types of items will you buy, just CDs/DVDs/VHS/tapes?
A: If we can place an order through FromJapan, then we can get your stuff for you.  This includes (but not limited to) PureSound, band webshops, Amazon.co.jp, and more.  While CDs/DVDs/VHS/tapes make up the majority of our orders, we will certainly work with you if you want to order clothing or toys for instance.
 
Q: How do you handle auctions?  Can I still buy from Yahoo Auctions through you?
A: You absolutely can!  For auctions that involve bidding, simply tell us the amount of the bid you want to place (or you’re max bid), and we will place it.  We will make every effort to place a bid the moment we receive your email, but we ask that you do keep in mind that we are humans and still subject to that pesky habit called sleep.  If the auction ends at a lower price than your max bid, we'll refund the difference.
Q: How much longer would this whole process take compared to if I were to just order things by myself?
A: One of the ways we get a lower per-item shipping cost is that we end up shipping giant crates with hundreds of items.  Our giant crate shipments are typically once/month, so we will announce a date when our next shipment will go out, and people have up until a week before that date to place their order.  We use FedEx priority to get the package stateside, which only takes about 3 days.
 
 
LET'S NOT FORGET OUR NON-US CUSTOMERS
Paying a higher-per item fee PLUS shipping from the US doesn't make sense.  What some of RarezHut's EU costumers have chosen to do is have us order their items like normal, then include them in the shipment that they buy off our streaming auctions or our store.
The offer to combine shopping service orders with stream and store orders extends to our US customers as well of course.

A 12% fee on each of my 6 CDs (in my most recent shipment) would amount roughly to $7. My FJ overseas fee for that shipment cost $33.

This would be extremely helpful since I buy more stuff on webshops than I do on yahoo or mbok (b/c specials).

Really surprised to see a thread like this here. I guess that's a sign that VR is really starting to spread around. I've been following VR since the Oculus Kickstarter days and will be getting PSVR day one I'm sure. I've waited so long for this! Actually I think it would be a dream to have our very own VR Jrock video room when the technology takes off in a few years.
 
As far as things I want to see in the future? I've had many ideas. Jrpg's, Virtual novels, Virtual Card games like yugioh, DBZ in VR, Pokemon in VR, etc. I'm also kind of interested in sporting events or concerts too. 

Well, last season to me was really disappointing. I only finished Gakusen Toshi Asterisk, which ended on an overwhelming meh.
Rakudai, for the most part, was leaving me with the same vibes so I have it stalled (much better than Asterisk though.)
I think most of the shows left everyone on a sour note. (I'm not feeling these battle harem plots recently :/...)

In regards to this season, the adaptations of Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! and Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut
are airing. Since I'm reading both, I'll probably pick them up a couple episodes in. 
 
Dagashi Kashi and Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm this season are a bit of a refresher. I've been reading Dagashi Kashi,
and the tsukkomi/boke roles between "Coconuts" and Hotaru are great. Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm is the second sprite VN
adaptation that's been put out there, and I liked the environment of KoiChoco so I'll probably stick with this one. Mami Kawada
and Ray are doing the OP and ED, respectively, which are both amazing. 
 
I might pick up what P.A works is doing and Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu.
Joshiraku was a rakugo-based anime, but I think it also bounced a lot between that and a "cute girls doing cute things"/comedic premise.
I'll probably like something a bit more serious for a change. 
 

Not the strongest chorus, but hot damn those harsh vocals.
 
Edit: I can't believe I'm getting my latest genuine "-core" fix from only giru and coldrain recently. (as for the past month or so)
        Sumerian and Rise need to step up, Nippon revolution.

I remember when I downloaded their music back in 2007. I wonder how popular they were when they were around...
 

I thought he didn't join the videos because being crazy or spontaneous wasn't his thing. He always came off more serious than the rest in my opinion

While I didn't care for their dubstep infusion in SECRET, Ikenai Kiss completely blew me away.
I enjoyed their old sound, but I think the band has finally found their element.

I didn't know what this forum's response was at the time, but I'm curious if there was a similar reaction when xTRiPx transitioned into their
"Free Style Anthem"/Electronic Rap Rock stage (esp. with Astrovibes and double).
 
Personally, I'm shaking in my boots with excitement. If this mini is what I think it's going to be.... Oh lawd...

I got the DVD & Happiness single as part of live goods at their Halloween live, but they must have been quite limited (I would expect more on auction).

I will have to warn those getting the Type D version (particularly for the DVD) that after the first song, the audio quality takes a plunge.
In this preview it looks like they fixed the mix to emphasize Sena's vocals, which sounds somewhat better.
