    I am going to try and make my quick comments a monthly thing...since I'm not hip enough to listen to things soon enough to make it on the list lol. Same thing as always - one play through with nothing more than the first thing that comes to my mind and a rating system that forces myself to be positive or negative.     Green = mhmm
    Yellow = hmmm
    Orange = uhhhhh
    Red = uuuugh   "月-MOON" by AvelCain Really not bad, but rather bland. Also synth violins (although I must say that there usage here this is much better than most of the time I hear them).    "Luxuria" by MALISEND A lot of promise here, but it still feels pretty rough. Vocalist feels like he is better suited to screaming and growling that singing. Synth bits weren't doing it for me, but the rest of the song felt solid. I think the 2007 me would have ate this up.   "形の無い、何よりも、愛したのは、お前だけが" "(katachi no nai, nani yori mo, aishita no wa, omae dake ga)" by gibiky gibiky gibiky I'm a sucker for Nagoya kei.   "さようなら僕だけの人 (sayounara boku dake no hito)" by ベル (belle) I dig the song as a whole, but the falsetto is a bit much for me.   "欲望の歌 (yokubou no uta)" by ゴールデンボンバー (Golden Bomber) Song was meh. But the PV was absolute gold.   "灰燼に帰す (kaijin ni kaesu)" by サウイフモノ (souiumono) Good "standard" VK. Wasn't much feeling the vocals.   "Little Boy" by Seuss Vocals flat out kill it for me. No thank you.   "エメラルドグリーン (emerald green)" by そこに鳴る (sokoninaru) I dig the fuck out of this. I love male-female vocal tradeoffs, and when combined with competent musicians in an interesting composition, we have a winner.   "朱色の空 (Shuiro no Sora)" by Deathfina somewhere between bad and bland.   "若者離れが止まらない!" by ZETSURIN⚡HAGUKI Other than the band chant, I dug this one.   "9rue1 au5ocracy" by Insanity Injection I'm sorry Zess, but this is just bad.    "Vinyl" by HOLLOWGRAM I can't appreciate this track over youtube. I needs to be played in fully analog to truly appreciate it ::pushes up hipster glasses:: Side note - ""Vinyl" sounds like KEEL without aie's influences" pretty much means to me that it doesn't sound like KEEL lol.   "Strong Fate" by 和楽器バンド Pretty sure your youtube link is wrong
    Wagakki keeps killing it.   "B.R.N" by Insanity Injection I think I might be the grumpy old man that just used to link VK...idk.   "Where the Falling Angel Meets the Rising Ape" by Cyclamen Hayato is Cyclamen. And Hayato is awesome.   "「サプリミナル・ダイエット」" by Charisma.com I've never understood the hype behind this group. That said, this probably one of the better songs I've heard from them.   "Veiled Eyes" by PLASTICZOOMS This is one of those songs that I can see the appeal of, but just isn't for me.   "No. 2" by CIDERGIRL Solid song, but in a style that I feel like I have heard a hundred times before.   "氷の皿 (Ave Maria)" by Poet-type.M I don't mind dreamy, but something about this feels a bit too cheesy for me.   "Urusai." by SUPER BEAVER Enjoyable high energy rock track. Nothing super standout, but I like it. Helps that it doesn't overstay its welcome.   "KOKO" by WEAVER Kinda bland   "KICK ASS HERO" by FEELFLIP & SKALL HEADZ Nothing special, but hard to ignore how fun it is.   "時を貫く槍(toki o tsuranuku yari)" by Within The Last Wish I love the raw emotion that comes out in tracks like this. Maybe not the best screaming, but the passion makes up for it.   "Delicious" by MONKEY MAJIK Now there is a name I haven't seen in a while...my roommate in college loved them. MY gf will be happy about htis.   "gods" by mothercoat Jangley and fun with quirky vocals that somehow work. I dig it.   "C.P.U." by マリアハト (Maria Hato) Not sure this one is for me   "殉恋歌(junrenka)" by BORN Probably one of the better BORN songs I have heard in a while - A nice one to have at the end of the band's life.   "Ruin" by Deviloof  Feels a little "Heavy for Heavy's sake." Like they haven't quite grasped the context if they allow of a bit of lighter parts, the juxtaposition will give it so much more weight when the intense parts. They might want to take some cues from Nocturnal Bloodlust. That said, they certainly do heavy better than most VK bands I've heard.

    I quite like the song! It's lacking a certain punch, but I don't mind that. I'm just not sure it works as the lead single from the release.

    What's up with Satoshi's stand-up drumming again though? Is that just what he does now?
    Interesting! It reminds me of a more electronic version of "milky latte". Plus, the goldfish in the cup reminds me of the goldfish on the cover art for that single!

    Thank you all for the reviews, and once again for this opportunity.
    From all the mentions from my review partners, the track I enjoyed the most was MOON by Avelcain, this was like the first time me enjoying this band. This and 夜光虫 are pretty cool ballads.
    About PLASTICZOOMS, I have to agree with @togz when saying Sho's vocal keeps improving, but the part till 0:36 is pretty awful because it makes Sho's voice kind of disappear :/ but I still like it too.
    Also, I'm going to have a better check on @fitear1590's サウイフモノ and ベル.

    Lots of good picks this month. I got to check out the youtube playlist for the first time, which was really awesome and convenient to do some studying and let it play through.

    @fitear1590 omg that Golden Bomber video was one of the best things I've seen in so long. I laughed so hard. I usually like their videos but that is probably my new favorite. xD Also I loved that new sokoninaru. I hope they keep it up!

    @tetsu_sama69 I don't know how I missed the news on ZETSURIN⚡HAGUKI because I enjoyed Tokyo Heroes, so this is great to hear. I liked the song a lot so I'll be looking out for them. Thanks for recommending!

    @Zeus I love that Cyclamen track and was happy to see them on this list this month,and that Charisma.com song is such an earcreeper. I can't stop singing the chorus after it plays.

    @beni That Super Beaver song is so much love! <3

      I got region blocked by the Silent Siren song but I usually quite like them so I'm sure I'd be on the fan train for it if I could check it out. I'll get my hands on it sooner or later lol. And I do believe Deviloof was a typical deathcore band before they went visual. It was mentioned they were previously named All Must Die.

    @Zeus After reading your review on "Ousia" I was expecting this song to be your choice for the month and I have too say I agree that its a pretty exceptional song, even though at times the progression in the song comes off kind of dysfunctional at times, it fits so well. I think it's my favorite on the album as a whole. The first time listening to it I had to replay it multiple times ending in over 1 hour of song play since the song is so massive, but it was worth it.

    @emmny I thought Dezert was really good too but I'm unsure if this album is better to me than the last, what do you think? I for one like the progression of the tracks on the first album from heavy to a 3 stunt song slow jam back to more heavy songs. This album was more variable in terms of where the songs were placed but I would have to say that my favorite song from this album was pictogram-san. It's a pretty nice song.

    @fitear1590 I also think londboy sounds pretty good and am looking forward to previews of their next single!

    @beni after reading your excerpt on finland I had to give them a try because I love hearing new singing styles and her squeak on certain words had its own flare that I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for this submission.

     @CAT5 Galileo Galilei is just breaking hearts everywhere huh. I do hope Yuuki Ozaki atleast continues as a solo artist if anything because I really enjoy his voice. I am sad they are breaking up but I do agree with @beni that this sounded a little different from them besides the occasional "them" songs like "Blues"!!1 Sigh I'm going to miss them...

    @yakihiko Matenrou Opera are becoming more and  more progressive in terms of rock and it's going good for them. I have to say that my favorite song on the "Chikyuu" release was "Silent Scream" it's a wonderful song and Sono's singing style in it is phenomenal.

    As always tons of things I'm unfamiliar and need to listen to so thanks for the recommendations<3

    Almost forgot my addition which was DADAROMA "DADAISM#2" I couldn't get enough of it on first listen and compared to their first release it is jammed packed with heavy material , what everyone seems to be wanting from them. "Chimen" was my favorite from the release. If you guys haven't checked it out yet you definitely should! His vocals on chimen is superb mixing the screams with the growls and the intense drum playing with and then the chorus comes in with the falsetto and I just lose my sh*t, literally I just love his voice... maybe too much ranting but Yes please check it out if you haven't yet.

    BTW I may have to get in on this writing my own excerpt for you guys if you would have me

    That actually sounds quite nice.
    I went ahead and listened to "pirorhythm stabilizer 〜only your world〜" (prev. release you mentioned) and actually ended up liking that too.
    (the high drum vol. audio distortion was a bit jarring to the ears at high volume, but that was only a brief 3 sec. insert at the beginning)

    To provide something of my own, Egw Eimi released a new MV two months ago. I bought their Palette - EP early last year

    fitear1590 got a reaction from amemiya_takumi in DOPPEL - エッグノック (EGG KNOCK) Review
    First of all, I’ve never really listened to DOLLY (but I’ve heard great things about them!), so I don’t have much to compare DOPPEL to.  This was one of those rare “blind purchases” for me, where I wasn’t familiar with the band members or their previous work, but I went on my gut feeling of really liking the PV preview and some song snippets on Amazon.jp.  In any case, I’m thoroughly enjoying this release!  “-胎瞳-“ is a pleasant little SE track.  Nothing to write home about, but it does set the mood well.  “エッグノック” starts off like an old Moran track (the style that I love): prominent basslines, airy piano, lovely violin.  I don’t know how much to attribute to the compositions or the great guest musicians, but the music is beautiful.  I’m also enjoying Mitsu’s voice!  Like I said, I’ve never listed to DOLLY before, but Mitsu has one of those highly exaggerated "VK" voices, but in the good way.  “Anemθne” has a great funky beat to it and some cool guitar riffs.  Once again, some great musicianship.  “Till” amps up the electronic elements.  It’s a combination of a very dance-y beat in the foreground, with some beautiful twinkly bleeps and bloops in the background (kind of reminded me of the group neue nahel’s take on electronic).  However, I’m not AS keen on Mitsu’s singing in this song; sounds a bit strained (or restrained?)…  Still a very solid track.  “-朔剥-“ is another SE track, this time combining heavy beats and some faint piano chords.  “MOONLIGHT xxxx” is a worthy closing track.  It opens with a very video game-y synth line, before going into some pretty piano.  As the song builds, it introduces all kinds of elements like some string arrangements giving it a “grand” feel, as well as a beautiful acoustic guitar solo.

    My favorites are definitely “MOONLIGHT xxxx” and “エッグノック” and they exhibit a kind of feel-good, yet mature, well-composed pop.  The songs are very pretty, “pleasant,” and easy to listen to in a “pop” sense, but there are also creative compositions with many layers of piano, strings, and synths.  I’m looking forward to what this group will do next and I feel like I also need to peruse the DOLLY discography in the meantime.  Also, from a purely visual perspective, I think the band has a unique aesthetic, from their costumes to their booklet design.  DOPPEL is definitely a band to check out!

    Firstly, thank you, @CAT5 for your constant commitment and improvements to this. This revamp has been the best yet!

    @Zeus, it's terrific seeing THE BLACK SWAN being commented on, especially by yourself. I have yet to get to the release, but it sounds well worth it as expected.

    @emmny, brilliant to have you. That's a real neat blurb, and while I can't say much at all on DEZERT, bless you on including them, it's a great choice.

    @fitear1590, LILI LIMIT, instant thumbs up. That was a wonderful release, they just keep getting it on point. koochewsen always sounds lovely, it's cool seeing them reaching more people thanks to @doombox and @seurong as you've said! LUCKY TAPES and LONDBOY are new to me, and now I'm going to have to go on a hunting spree for more from both!

    @CAT5, I'm rather interested in METAFIVE with your comments on it including @doombox's play of them in dub. I'll certainly check that album out at some point. ATATA sounds right up your street, and is something I'd like to listen to more of. I wasn't expecting those vocals, I really like what I'm hearing. As you know with NakamuraEmi, I enjoyed that album. It certainly flowed and was organised well. You picked a super neat number too. Really deserving of more recognition. Unfortunately, Galileo Galilei I couldn't get into. It's a nice album but not compared to their earlier works if you ask me. It's quite different and therefor rather far off from what I love from them that I can't embrace it fully. A wonderful pick if I just block out it's Galileo Galilei. XD It's a bittersweet moment, ok ;;
