To me they sound like a 2016, "little harder" version of many 2006/2007's great bands like ガイズファミリー, heidi., etc. Also a lot of comparsions i would like to make with C"LOW"N (basically (but much inferior) BLESSCODE now). One of the more interesting releases last year (one of many actually), especially together with Hiz's (now CANIVAL) "8インチの脅迫" single. The use the typical formulas of todays vk bands but add enough interesting stuff here and there were other bands just release the same song over and over again (DADAROMA, MEABEL, MEJIBRAY, MORRIGAN, アルルカン or one of these other horrible bands). Their contribution to "BLACK MARKET GANG I" (Murderr face) remined me a little bit of "FACE TO FACE" (just the intro). Otherwise the song was a letdown, so i hope they werent just a one hit wonder with this mini.

Really difficult to pick 9. I wont say they are the best, but these left an permanent impression on me, even after listening each 50+ times over the years. I listen both, like both and saw both live. But deciding between them is no real question since kamome is on such a higher level in skill, live atmosphere, importance for the scene, interaction with fans. TBS had some nice songs but already sound too repetitive after just 1 year. And whats a good sound on CD if you cant produce it live (this one counts for too many "harder" VK bands anyway)? Still i enjoy them. But if they disband, what they probably will in 0.5-2 years, nothing will be missed. If we're lucky, Jin just continues in another band with the same image. Still love that Shit Noodle thing Since most people here chose for look, limited listening acceptence for other genres/ VK CD-sound and the image they think they know when seeing pictures (while the real band member behavior is totally different and laughable) they will probably chose TBS. Open your mind and visit kamome live if you have the chance, you wont forget the atmosphere/energy. For TBS live, if you dont go you wont miss anything imo.

After their awesome demo they had 1 or 2 good new songs but overall, yeah. Always the same but still enjoyable. But what do you expect with only their drummer having the slightest talent. Others are just there for the fame, they dont care their sound IMO. Typical Host-Kei behavior.

For me its a hard choice between MACABRE, 鬼葬 and DSS. MACABRE has great variety and DSS has an awesome atmosphere, but i'll go with 鬼葬 cause i get the best feeling listening to it. When seeing this poll, i guessed UROBOROS would be most picked by the hype it received/its receiving, which i just dont understand. For me its by far their worst. Ok, it has VINUSHKA but that song is also on DSS (DIABOLOS; i never expected DEG to re-use their own riffs meh). And 蜷局 cant fully make up for the rest. Favorite look/style era would be around VULGAR/Wtd.

I feel like many people get into the scene by reading the blog, saw it pop-up many times But its good imo. My 3 favorites (not sure if all fit really into emo/screamo tho, at least i feel the are somewhat known/active in the scene atm ): (just one of these albums you can listen from start to finish over and over again) (somewhat anoying to get their stuff... fck rarez; their latest tape is great!) (more recent one, took me some time to get used to them; still need to check out their new album released this month; was at the show were the vid was recorded btw ) Saw all three live several times, hiha always makes me shiver for the whole show. Definitly recommend them for anyone who has the chance! hiha just toured europe and i bet theyll do again in the future!

え？ Meh, thinking about it, after their superb peak which was おままごと, their look and new songs sucked more and more...

You should listen to Visage's CDs GAME or reversal film (f.e. anticipate). His voice is just love. Also from what i did hear by 7addict (demo quality CD and live), his voice worked there too (live even better). But as you said, no idea how much he had to do with song writing. Whoever was it in gossip did a great job tho, they had a good amount of rememorable melodies (butterfly, 残煙～after smoke～, Frozen Darkly, Final call, .. come to my mind). I remember the very old/early days of this forum when everybody seemed to jizz their pants to Final call, haha Just lets hope they release a good produced CD

Where do you see the hate towards the band in this topic? I thought everyone was enjoying their sound although pointing out the obvious partly plagiarism (which isnt "horrible saying things" when its true imo). You need to stop praising bands so much for things they dont do, even if you like listening to their music. Both ways "omg they are so bad" and "omg they are soooo good, so skilled, totally new" are stupid. I highly doubt they comment or even listen to グリーヴァ or any vk lately.

I wonder if there is drama about them. Have you seen any on blogs (besides the usual fangirl drama)? I just always see bands like 12012 and Sadie blamed/hated for "copying" DIR EN GREY, which i never understood at all besides Sadie's latest release (well, there was also VAJRA, which covered newer DIR EN GREY songs and sold them as their own). But after a quick listen to some of their songs, this band seems to copy songs/riffs so entirely from earlier DIR EN GREY and everyone seems to love it. Maybe its official that they are a cover band since even their outfits/hair seems so typical copied, could someone clear that? In the end its cool to see a band revive the "old style", which also seems to have good potential.
