Their new look is wonderful. Colourful D has always been a favourite of mine.
  2. This is always the worst part of the year to be on the internet because there are Halloween-related posts everywhere, and we do not celebrate it in any way whatsoever.

  3. I encountered another spam-filled website yesterday when I clicked on something from Google, I can't remember how old the link was though. Also, it's not only designed to attack from Google. I've also encountered it when I click on Monochrome Heaven links people send me over Facebook, for instance.

If you're seeing all of this on Tumblr, you're really following the wrong people and looking in the wrong direction. I only follow blogs about videogames and I rarely see any arguments at all.

Is that roman date (your birthdate, I assume) meant to look so sloppy? I'm not trying to badmouth the artist, but the design looks very rushed.

I feel the same. When I purchase a digital release I don't actually feel as if I own that release. I only own something if it's on my shelf or in my drawer, with an actual disc, booklet and case.
  7. Not really. Their distributer just cancelled the sale from the only website where it was available from or something. Or at least that is what it appeared like.

I couldn't get into Shingeki no Kyojin either. After the first two or three episodes everything went downhill and pretty much the rest of the anime consisted of waiting and anticipating what would happen next. But nothing ever really happened.
  10. Came here for the PV alone. But without sound.

Seeing as no one was present last Sunday, I'd like to address this replacement for Plug.dj once again. Sundays are open for everyone as I had hoped we could continue our weekly rituals.

I'm just not interested in reading manga. I'd rather pick up a good book to immerse myself in instead of looking at a picture book (to give that dramatic exaggeration).

More KAMIJO and D blessedness during a Tea Party.
  14. The Evil Invaders gig for tomorrow is cancelled because Joe is still sick. Instead I'm seeing the second Dutch show of Enforcer, Wolf and Dynamite as we were put on the guestlist by the kind men of Wolf. It's 02:45 and I just got home, far too tired to write a review.

Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou — Super powers, magical girls (in a non-cliché and overly sexualized manner), aliens and mechas. This anime is set in an alternate Japan, and the art-style very much reminds me of the more comical sets on shows such as Space Dandy, meaning that the colourful and non-realistic scenery immediately caught my eye. Lots of action and quite frankly, the first episode became slightly confusing when the pilot was nearing its end because so much was happening at once. Noragami Aragoto — This show seems to simply continue onwards from where it ended with the first season; Yukine and Yato bickering, and Hiyori not really knowing her place in the midst of this all. I am still not too certain about this anime and what keeps my interest on it. I like the focus on Bishamon, though. She seems to be able to spice up the show a little with this new arc, and I have always found her a more interesting god than Yato himself. One Punch Man — I am highly anticipating for this anime to live up to its hype, and it might even attract a new audience. The art is sublime, and the comical appearance of Saitama in the middle of all these amazingly rendered action-scenes is quite refreshing. Owari no Seraph: Nagoya Kessen-hen — The addition of the Hiiragi family seems to finally bring some more interesting plot-line to this show, because to focus solely on finding Mikaela became tiring after a few episodes. I am not a fan of the girls in this show at all (this is mostly the case for me with most anime I watch), so for me it's great that they added some authority and maturity into the mix. Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru — I honestly couldn't pay much attention to this. The plot is certainly interesting but somehow I couldn't focus all that much on the pilot episode, perhaps I was just tired. The idea of an animated version of Bones —if you might call it so— intrigued me, and I am glad that this will not turn out to be another anticipated show to turn into a romantic sap-fest derived from the original story. It's a novel-adaptation of a detective series, so I believe they won't make these mistakes. The visuals are absolutely stunning, perhaps this is even the most beautiful anime I have seen in this year, or previous few years, and I look forward to watch this when I am more focused on the story. Subete ga F ni Naru: The Perfect Insider — This is the mature participant of the season. Quite frankly, I had no idea what this anime was to be about as I had not really looked for a description, but it was actually more or less the cover on MyAnimeList that interested me. That might be an odd reason to start watching a show, but I am glad I did. The first episode leaves one with a lot of questions and I think this is also some sort of detective series, or at least that it has something to do with crime and mystery.
  16. People also seem to have missed that they will be announcing an important message at this live. Usually whenever the forum reads this there is an immediate fear for a hiatus or disbandment.

I found these two 凛 shirts on PureSound's website and I didn't know how fast I had to order them. They seem to be brand new. I can't remember exactly when they were sold (somewhere around 2010-2011, perhaps), but I know the band used to wear them as well, which is kind of awesome. Most of the bands you mentioned here, at least KEEL, emmurée, ネガ and Ayabie, already had their roots in the 90's, or early 00's. Their members spawned from groups such as AZALEA, Aliene Ma'riage, D'elsquel, and another few honorable mentions. It was only a matter of time before you heard that inspiration back in these members' newer bands and that is why they still sound attractive to the people who are stuck with their tastes in these eras. A lot of the newer bands that came about after 2010 consist of young folks in their early twenties. Surely, they might have grown up with 90's Visual Kei but they haven't had the experience that came with playing in such bands, thus these elements have simply been erased and they follow what's currently attractive to the general audience. This is why you always see musicians dabbling around in completely different bands; yesterday it was Oshare, today it's the fluke that Visual Japan calls 'metalcore' — they simply follow the direction of what most fans are currently most stoked about and a lot of these musicians don't care what music they play, or if they sport demon wings, dark makeup, or a frilly princess dress, as long as it sells. It's why I usually tend to stick to units that bring older members with them (those who are in their mid 30's) because there will still be a source of the original sound that Visual Kei brought along with itself and it feels to me as if these musicians have a lot more respect for the scene. It's why I will always support most —if not anything— these iconic musicians who have had experience with Visual Kei's memorable sound, release.

The highest price I've paid for cheki during lives is €7,50, and those were for Kamijo – a considerably big artist. It's usually the fans afterwards that sell them for ridiculous prices, not the bands. There have been a countless amount of times where I've seen fresh cheki that were originally sold for ¥500, go for at least ¥2000 because a 'fan' sells them right after the live. These people are literally making it their business to rip people off.
  22. I have got some nice gigs coming up in the next few days. Wednesday I'll be seeing Enforcer + Wolf + Dynamite. Thursday I'll be seeing Evil Invaders + BLIKSEM + Bark. I am quite certain most of the people attending this thread are already familiar with Enforcer, but I'd still like to press some attention to them. I've seen them for the first time back in 2009, if I remember correctly. At that time they already shared the stage with famed bands such as Tygers of Pan Tang and Picture, who were also present at that particular gig. It's incredible to see how they have grown since then, and the crowds they attract.

The owner of 185 cheki quietly crawls into a corner as she realizes she has probably spent over ¥120.000 on them.
