Just think of something on the spot it's not a job interview You don't even HAVE to play anything but I guess that's not in the line of thought of most folks here because when someone leaves they always do right after their own choice of song and it's not even coincidence or funny anymore it's just the egoistic nature of the human being maybe but does that never bother the person like don't you have a sense of guilt when you are that self absorbed that you must play your song and then leave the room I don't know man that just seems very whatever anyway but I'm glad that the cute theme has been wiped off of the table because I expected nothing less than your false sense of japanesed kawainess that has already poisoned the minds of a lot of you and there would only be sugarysweetj-lolitas who wished they were in a manga or anime or some shit and genuine cute would not have had a chance against the fake and forced hello kitty culture

"Look at us, we so mysterious! We so special!" How dull... is this some kind of joke

Digitalizing vinyl records seems to be notoriously difficult unless you are a professional with professional equipment. I listened to some Kate Bush vinyl rips but even at the insane file size of 1 GB+ for barely 40 minutes of music I didn't notice any real advantage compared to listening to the same music on CD. I heard acceptable vinyl rips but I've heard a lot worse too (tried some The Sisters of Mercy vinyl rips once and they made my ears bleed). In my experiences the advantage of vinyl records (besides the obvious like large sleeves and general 'collectability') is the dynamic sound in comparison to the CD. A good vinyl record has been treated with a slightly altered mastering. I'm no expert, but somehow this element is often lost or greatly diminished when trying to copy vinyl to a digital file... so the result of a vinyl rip with decent equipment is closer to that of a CD except with the added little imperfections like crackles. So what's the point? For me it's often a decision between listening to the record on my turntable with greater dynamics and slightly more details and take the little imperfections for granted, or to listen to a CD with a slightly 'flatter' sound but no imperfections otherwise. Both sound good to me. But a vinyl rip makes no sense... it's like... the worst of both worlds? Crackles + flat sound. But of course the turntable and tonearm and amps and speakers and listening room acoustics and, and, and, etc all influence the sound so what do I know from just my own experience

Vinyl rips are only decent when made with very, very high end equipment. I wouldn't bother with that or with super rare records. Definitely get a cork platter though, those work wonders! And they're really not expensive, like 20 bucks for one.

Le clan des Siciliens (or The Sicilian Clan) (1969) Fairly typical but very enjoyable gangster movie with a jailbreak, a heist, a police investigator who can't quite wrap it up, pursuits, hijackings, killings. A meticulously staged escape from a prison van marks the start of this series. Alain Delon (wonderful actor who can only play one role but who cares if you do it in the ways of Alain Delon) gets some help escaping from a long prison term by a criminal family plus associates and in return has gotten a hold of plans to rob some very valuable jewelry. It's a very 'comfy' movie. The pace is relaxing, there is no rush to tell this story and there are no deliberate sluggish interludes either. There's some tension, but not the kind of tension where you're geniunely frightened for what may happen to any character, but the kind of tension where it's more curiosity on how the plot will play out. Admittedly there are a few minor inconsistencies that could be described as plot holes but this hasn't bothered me much. Would recommend! Very enjoyable movie with criminal activities/10 Words and Pictures (2013) Highly predictable and rather shallow drama about two teachers: the male specimen is an alcoholic master of the English dictionary, the female specimen a painter and art class instructor. For some silly reason they get into a disagreement and set up a competition in which their students have to prove how either words or pictures are the higher artform. Of course the male and female specimen get romantically involved and it should be no surprise that the ending is a cliche'd mess of words meets pictures and they both have their reasons to exist and blabla and blaaaaaa we live happily ever after and I'm left with no clue why I watched this thing. Juliette Binoche is the female specimen so that's good but then that's about the only good thing in this movie/10

Very cute. Is that really a garden though or is it your way of saying you live in the woods?

I agree! They should stop dying and add something of value instead. Listen to your fans and stop passing away!

Discogs is nicely organised and some records have just been released 200 times in their lifetime. It's the reason Discogs exists, to categorize all these with as much information as possible so folks can see which version they have, where it's from, what the rarity is, etc, and/or buy/sell the specific release they want. It works rather well if you disregard the inflated prices on some stuff. Only downside is the lack of archived "foreign language" music that the average Discogs user doesn't care about. Most of the big names are there, but chances are you won't find some obscure Japanese rock CDs on the site unless you add them yourself. Nobody on Discogs cares about those and Japanese users are a minority... and they don't care about those CDs either. So you'll find GACKT and X JAPAN, no problem, but you won't find 98% of Biopanda's rarezhut warez.

RIP At some point they were similar to Alice Nine but better. This lasted ~2 years. What they were doing the other 17 years? God knows.

Haha cute. Dear Gackt, Japan is not playing Civilization 5 and aiming for a cultural victory. And nobody cares about some stupid anime stage adaption. In what universe did they think it would attract an audience? Number one rule for any kind of adaption is that the source material is workable. Now look at that piece of shit called Naruto.

I'll bet I.V. is going to be on it anyway. Like Jade and Born to be Free and whatever uninspired stadium rock or ballads they've come up with since then. Alongside the English version of Rusty Nail and some more re-recordings. No faith
