So... when's Atomos part II coming? He's one of the only Korean musicians I really like. Sure there are other who are cool, but none match Seo Taiji. It's about time he releases some new music. I loved Atomos... need more!

My contributions Dire Straits - Telegraph Road The Doors - When The Music's Over Eagles - Long Road out of Eden Deep Purple - Child in Time Golden Earring - Vanilla Queen Golden Earring - Mad Love's Comin' Golden Earring - Twilight Zone Golden Earring - She Flies on Strange Wings Great White - Old Rose Motel Led Zeppelin - Kashmir The Cure - The Same Deep Water as You The Cure - From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea Iron Maiden - Isle of Avalon DIR EN GREY - Ware, Yami Tote (well it's JUST over 7 minutes right? ;D ) I tried to avoid songs who have been listed already... there may still be doubles but oh well, my mistake then. There are some epic long songs out there. Everybody should check out Vanilla Queen by Golden Earring. It's amazing. One of my favorites... and one of the most underrated songs too.

I always hope new groups are good, but sadly you have to be realistic here and don't expect anything. Well actually, expect something bad. Anything better than bad, like "average"... would probably be the best this band will ever be, seeing how UCP hasn't put out any decent bands for a while.

Sounds and looks pretty!

Seeing how he will undoubtly get recognized by someone sooner or later, it seems unlikely. But let him have his theories, they don't hurt anyone. RIP Isshi... I recall him having a problem with his voice once, but that's it. Nobody's ever died from that.. :/ this came so unexpected...

Cool. I'm definitely gonna check this out.

I can understand the haters though. the GazettE have been recycling melodies from earlier songs of theirs for a while now. While the new song again doesn't sound bad, it's not anything we haven't heard before either. Even the most hardcore the GazettE fans have to admit that (except the deaf ones).

I felt some of my braincells were dying as I watched that.

Cool stuff. But here's hoping their next full album is going to contain more new songs instead of picking songs left and right from EP's and singles.
-
The samples suggest there'll be lots of softer, melodic songs/parts of songs. A big roar fest would be a great disappointment.
-
No fucking way... He was one of the most bad-ass bassists around and a very talented songwriter too during the X time. And he seemed like a very nice guy. Loved his performance with X Japan in the Yokohama concert as special guest. This is horrible news. At least he will be immortal through his music and stage presence... R.I.P.

Wow, that sounded bad. The vocalist is terrible.
-
Oh wait, I think it might be after all. They talk about "previous released singles" that are going to be on the album. REMEMBER THE URGE is not released yet, so it might still be added in the list. Then only BEFORE I DECAY won't be included. Not sure though... Anyway, I hope for some nice album tracks like 13 Stairs [-1] part 2 or Nakigahara part 2...
-
So now the album is called VORTEX? Don't you mean TOXIC then? Also REMEMBER THE URGE sounds too different from the other songs so excluding that from the album seems logical.
-
"Not as good as they were" is a huge understatement if you listened to their last few releases... They don't got it anymore. If the album's going to be another mediocre to bad effort, SMG is dead to me. But I'd like to be proven wrong.

CASCADE - Heigh-Ho [snow White and the Seven Dwarfs] Hahaha WANT

I thought the whole thing was kinda boring sometimes. It had its moments, but there's nothing that really stands out or kicks ass. The vocalist STILL hasn't improved, not even a tiny bit, which is really starting to irritate. Whenever I listen to them I think "it's good, but could be better if...". I wouldn't rate this higher than 5.5/10, which is just on the edge

I never understood the name changes in the Japanese music scene. It makes more sense to me to stick with your original artist name because people might recognize them and listen to the new band because of that. The name itself builds a reputation. Why destroy that by renaming it? Anyhow, I'm looking forward to this project. Let's see what they can do outside of Kagrra,

Wants a boyfriend who looks exactly like Asagi

Saddest thing is... these people actually exist.
-
Indeed, but it's not the truth either. I don't know what he's trying to accomplish with saying these things. "WE CAN CREATE AN ALBUM WITHOUT CREATING AN ALBUM, FUCK WE'RE AWESOME"...? Obviously you have ideas of how the album should be. There's always a vision, whether or not that vision is altered during the process, it's always there. You're not fooling anyone.
-
That Steppenwolf cover is actually quite nice. Didn't think they could do that.
-
New song, yes! New album next would be awesome.
-
Well, they didn't actually play that here either, they just let it play as they left the stage one by one. So maybe you didn't notice or maybe they changed it with another ballad... good chance it would be Say Anything.

There's already a thread in Events about this.
