Absolutely agree.
I was officially converted to a DIV-fan after their album and this single is just confirming that.  Really enjoyed both songs.  I like "you" a little more, but "Butterfly Dreamer" is also pretty solid (minus the cringe-worthy "acapella" growl at the end, but I've always said Chisa needs to work on his harsh vox).  Plus, the PV is visually stunning.
Keep it up, DIV!

I don't need to listen to the mini to know that this is going to be the worst thing they've ever done by far. That's quite impressive.

^ It kind of sounds like you think they meant they made this album to get the audience rallied up and all. IMO, when they say it gets brought to life live, it's more of the album is good on record but once you take the songs live, they become bigger and stronger because of the energy behing them from the fans and members. It's not about "live friendly features" and such, just about how the audience and the band members mix together with the songs and create and atmosphere that makes these songs more powerful than on CD.

I love how the timer in red in the back was a countdown to the end of the song.
 
I can't believe someone called this song basic. The music video is pretty superb and the song is awesome!! The chorus is pretty strong, yet mellow. The instrumentation is pretty awesome and melodic, I love the transition from the riff after the first chorus to 2:13 where the song reverts to the intro melody which was pretty nicely done.

Only raising my suspicions further that HIZAKI was the actual vampire in Versailles and they just shoved KAMIJO to the front to make sure no one noticed.

Excited for this release.

I agree about Away. What I like about Alcest is just how well the French language fits with the atmosphere of their music. I'm not sure who the singer is in most of these parts (but I assume it's Neige?) but it's just really gentle and calm and very melodious. French as a language itself is a lot more elegant than English anyway, even when regularly spoken.
 
Oddly the only bands that are similar to Alcest that I enjoy are also French. Ito gave me a similar artist who sang in English once but it just didn't sound as great as it did in French.

You do realize, that visual kei is a genre where most of the stuff is pretty much borrowed from others? All the musicians are normal people and it's perfectly normal to be influenced by their idols, which is exactly what Yuuki does and there's nothing wrong with it.
 
You really can't be so naive that you think everything Lycaon does is "T3H M0ST OR1G1N4L TH1NG 3V3R." I'm sorry to break it to you, it isn't. You act like every member of Lycaon is shitting gold and diamonds. Lycaon is a fairly generic visual kei band, and they haven't done anything that original so far. But does that prevent you from enjoying their music? Of course not. Even though I'm perfectly aware that Lycaon isn't the most original band of the decade, it's still my favorite band.
 
By referring yourself as a "Lycaon LOYAL TRUE fan" you must be implying that I'm a bad fan for not being a delusional fan girl gasping at the awesomeness of everything they ever have or ever will create. If that's the case I'm really happy that I'm not a "LOYAL TRUE fan."

Kind of basic cover art, but I'm still excited for the single. Their last A-side was boring, but Augie I really liked their B-sides more than the A-side too.

It's a really douchey move. It's a huge guilttrip on most fans that want to but can't go and will feel like it's their fault if the band disbands. I mean, if you have to "threaten" your fans in such a way, you're either failing as a band or you have no moral ground (either way, you should probably stop). Even if it's a money issue, you could always start a "kickstarter" group of sorts so that fans can donate money to contribute to their next release and such. There are other alternatives than telling your fans that if not enough of them come, it's over

One of my friends is a big Soilwork fan so he persuaded me and a mutual buddy to tag along cuz yay, metvlz! I had only known like one album and a small handful of songs (all of them like a decade old, lol) beforehand but even this way the gig was highly enjoyable. You could really tell the band and the crowd were having an awesome time too, it was nice to get into. The music was pretty much perfect for this upbeat high-energy atmosphere with its mixture of melodic and br00tal parts. Been listening and re-listening to them non-stop since then, heh.

I`m from Germany and a great fan of Visual-Kei music and Japan in general.
I lurk around on MH for i think two years now, informing myself about new relesases and things like that, but only as a guest or ghost. In this two years i was really impressed by the great atmosphere in this forum and so: Here I am!
I`m glad to meet all of you and i think that it will be a great time in this forum^^

Anyway the entire proces sounds tedious. I'd rather play the game for myself and not battle people online instead of spending all that time breeding "the perfect team". It's just a game, after all. I'm the simpleton who just catches Pokemon, raises them, gets attached to the team I've used all through the game and never switches it in for others.

I was going to order both limited on CDJapan, but since the first press versions are still up for regular I ended up getting those two saving a ton with the points I accumulated over winter. If no one gets to uploading it, I'll put out the release asap . Hopefully someone puts out the MVs/making and whatnot.

I'm obsessed with the hooks and melodies of this band.  Definately one of my favorite new bands in the last few years.  Every single becomes like an earworm to me, and despite the fact they are more poppy and melodic than my usual soundtracks, I typically am more excited to see a DIV release than a release from a band like Sadie these days.
 
I can't wait to hear their new material.  Zero One was an amazing debut from a strong set of singles.  I just hope that they don't fade into mediocrity with popularity like groups like Alice Nine. did for me.

God damn, that was a great episode. So the sudden change in mood wasn't so much of a change after all. It just felt like it. You know what I'm saying? Great episode, and it had plenty of surprises. You just gotta love that!
