tough choice between 4th and 5th wave. 5th wave because i was actively into vk around that time and there were many solid bands, but i decided to choose 4th wave because my bigger favorites were from that era.

^damn, that sounds fun, but i've got plans......

as much as i like aicle., gonna have to go with d'espairsray on this one. we've got the quirky-sound covered already with dezert. they're still different from aicle. (and darker visually), but i think they're pretty comparable in some ways. i'd much prefer to hear the old sound of d'espairsray brought back. it has been dearly missed. SAME. i miss ryo's old singing style so much...... on another note, i think it'd be nice to hear lower voiced vocals with great screams for once, namely those like kyotaro (black:list, eight) and satoshi (girugamesh). the scene seems to be really lacking them in these past few years.

yessssssssss!!!!! i knew it wouldn't take too long for motoharu to join another band. on the other hand, i really need to catch up with this band. great to see that they're resuming activities~

can't spot Plastic Tree, Dezert, or AvelCain! D: from those not mentioned i see Pentagon, Sonic Death Monkey, Zombi, pretty sure that's Girugamesh, and LM.C.

i also watched Krampus this year with my siblings and really enjoyed it! had a good laugh while also enjoying the storyline and special effects. it was better than it i thought it would be and was really worth the watch. i haven't seen many christmas horrors yet, but Dead End was something i wanted to watch last year, except my siblings were not up for it. i also had P2 (2007) in mind, but still haven't seen it yet either. it seems quite interesting as it's centered around Christmas Eve and not so much of Christmas Day or the holiday.

yeah, but thing is that i don't have any means of listening to it so it might feel like a waste. i mean, sure it'd be nice to have as a collection too (it is my fav album after all) but i'm still feeling indecisive. :S

all i can say is, pure perfection. i didn't know the ffx battle theme could sound so beautiful. it pulled my heart strings.

before i listened to vk and heavier stuff, which was around 12-13 years old, i listened to jpop shit lol. i deleted most of my jpop stuff and only listen to them when i feel like visiting my old self, not on a regular basis. still listen to all my old vk favorites though, of course!

i'm kinda late on all of these but that kashiwa daisuke track is very beautiful~! <33 i never really went through any of his stuff, despite seeing his name around a lot. it seems like i'll have to do that now! wouldn't say tgads' new mini is their best either, or lined up with their other stuff, but it's not bad. my favorites are after the addle apple and elephant in the room. i haven't been keeping up with keel so i'll need to check out that album too~ their first release didn't leave me much of an impression tbh (haven't checked out the 2nd mini yet either), but maybe i'll find something i like in this one.

the gory detail on the first drawing is awesome! great color usage too~ branching off from the comment about your painting style, i think your sloppy style is totally fine! (mainly because i like to draw sloppy myself lol) i also receive the same comments about some of my drawings from my sister (who also draws, we have very different styles) so i get it. they may have a point, but not everyone has the same way of doing things. i personally admire the expressive look a sloppy brush stroke gives. whenever i actually try to clean something up i start to hate the drawing even more, and it loses its spark. so that was when i pretty much decided that i'd do my own way of things, despite what others say. if people prefer a cleaner and polished look, that's them! just do whatever feels right man! i mean, it's good to receive critique from others of course, there's nothing wrong with that. and they can be quite useful too. but just saying that, ultimately you'll be the one who decides what to do with your drawings! ^^

at last, the last two tracks 終わらない境界 and holy have been added! shall i start translating their other albums? or any other songs in particular? just let me know! ^^

honestly, i only started watching kaiji because the ost was composed by my favorite soundtrack composer, haha. but it was surprisingly interesting, watched like 4-8 eps per day, so i may consider picking up the manga too! would be kinda nice if they made third season into an anime actually. except with taniuchi hideki, the soundtrack composer, still in jail it would be pretty pointless.

i just finished watching the second season of kaiji and man, who knew that a mere pachinko game could be so intense!! i watched the first season way back in high school so i don't remember much of it, but the ost is still way better than the second one imo. they should have at least brought back the stellar kaiji theme.

ahah, i found it! the "na....naa..." at the beginning of M's 映せない姿 思い描く姿 reminds me a lot of one section in Black:List's Throw hope away. it only appears for like 5-10 seconds in each song, while the rest sounds completely different, but it was driving me nuts for a while trying to pinpoint where i heard it before.....
