From the sounds of this description from Puresound, it sound like it's meant to be a release that compares the old Mucc and the current Mucc.

When they say [DISC-2:Tsuuzetsu 1st] I'm positive they're referring to the 1st press of Tsuuzetsu, and when they say [DISC-2:Homura Uta -ReMASTER-] I think they're referring to the 3rd pressing of Homura Uta which was indeed remastered (slightly clearer dynamic range and punchier than the first press.) and included Suiso (which was not included in any other pressing of Homura Uta).

While I'm talking about Homura Uta, funny little tidbit about the different pressings is that the only aesthetic differences between the two is that the 3rd press has a giant black & white sticker on the back of the shrink wrap with different catalog number information, the CD matrix has a different catalog number to reflect the pressing, and there's an extra little insert with lyrics for Suiso. Everywhere else you'll see that the packaging and artwork is pulled straight from the first press down to the catalog number on the case and even the bonus CD. 
 
 

 

How is it even possible for a band to have this much bad luck? Everytime it seems like they are actually going to do something someone dies, almost dies or Yoshiki get surgery.

Yoshiki of X JAPAN will undergo an emergency cervical artificial disc replacement surgery on Tuesday, May 16 in Los Angeles.

As a result of Yoshiki's intense drumming style and the impact it has had on his physical health, he was diagnosed with cervical foraminal stenosis in July 2009, and then underwent a cervical laminectomy and a cervical foraminotomy.

After suffering from a herniated disc that has worsened over the past six months, Yoshiki has experienced symptoms including numbness and severe paralysis of the left hand and arm, which have since been affecting his musical performances. Upon receiving a complete examination by his doctors in both Japan and the U.S., Yoshiki was diagnosed with cervical foraminal stenosis (radiculopathy of the left arm and herniation of intervertebral disc C5-C6). After thorough consultation, Yoshiki has no choice but to undergo surgery at this time.

Yoshiki has been informed by a neurosurgeon in Japan that his neck has experienced severe damage that would force a professional rugby player to retire. It has been medically determined that he is approaching his limit, both physically and mentally. The intensive schedule has taken its toll on his already damaged nervous system. With performances at Visual Japan Summit festival, Yoshiki Classical Special in Japan, Hong Kong, Carnegie Hall in New York and Wembley Arena in London, he has continued to play around the world with X JAPAN and solo. In addition, adopting an intensive travel schedule to over 20 film festivals globally to promote the documentary "We Are X" contributed to his health condition.

“I had the pleasure of seeing Yoshiki, who has a C5-6 disc herniation with left arm radiculopathy. He has been recommended to have a cervical artificial disc replacement," explains Neel Anand, M.D., Yoshiki's orthopedic spine surgeon in the U.S.

Dr. Tommy Tomizawa, M.D., adds: "It was decided upon consultation that he will undergo emergency surgery as the condition of his neck at present will interfere not only with his career as an artist, but also with everyday life. From viewing the results of the MRI and CT scans, the damage is so severe that it is apparent that he has experienced considerable pain while performing. As this would be his second such procedure, we eliminated the option of a cervical foraminotomy, an operation in which a portion of bone is removed. Yoshiki's symptoms reappeared at the Visual Japan Summit festival, which was held last October in Japan. By the time he performed in January of this year at New York's Carnegie Hall, he had already lost the sensation in his left hand. The symptoms worsened this March following the U.K. Wembley performance, but he continued recording. Even in his condition at that state, Yoshiki stated that he wanted to see things through to the end. However, due to the worsening of his symptoms, doctors, determined that if the situation continued he would have gone beyond the point of surgery and recovery."

The operation is to be performed on May 16 at a Los Angeles hospital. Unfortunately, the cancelation of all scheduled activity in May could not be avoided. X JAPAN's world tour of Japan, "We Are X" 2017 dates in July, the Yoshiki Premium Dinner Show dates in August and September, as well as yet-to-be-announced dates for the summer world tour that was to start in Los Angeles are now undergoing rescheduling with his U.S. agency William Morris Endeavor.

Following Yoshiki's operation, a discussion whether to cancel, postpone or move forward as scheduled will be held amongst the agent, promoter and management.

Fun fact about the DEZERT album: it's sealed and the price tag was ¥3,000! Lately, from what I've seen, flippers are trying to sell it for ~¥10,000. I got the regular edition because I think the cover looks better than the pink one.
 
Also sealed: R-shithead mini album (¥1,000), and the A/D types of the 己龍 singles (¥100/each, from Closet Child). The type C 己龍 single on the other hand, is not brand new and it cost me ¥600. I'm clearly an idiot for going to PureSound first! (lol)

Sooo confused trying to make sense of what the hell's going on here. Repress of the 1st edition of 痛絶 is pretty cool? and i guess im curious about a 痛絶 remaster, because I would say there is some potential to do a better post-processing job on it this time around.
 
However, I'm extremely suspicious that the remaster of 葬ラ謳 will show any improvement.... It's just a really great sounding album already. This is all intriguing news nonetheless, as a fan of pre-2005 ムック.

Nightmare in general is very despised overall, even though they are much more capable, consistent and proven than most VK groups and quite a few regular Jrock bands. Being very popular (at least a few years back) but not being absolutely excellent also makes them an easy target. I am also quite sure that during the late 2000's when VK was more popular they were seen as a "band noobs like" because their music was a geatway into VK for many people due to anime. Most of the older VK fans at the time started to be actively dismissive in Nightmare topics because they associated the band with ignorance about the scene. The trend has persisted as the band's output has been much less consistant but it still existed in 2008, 2009 when their music was more solid and cohesive.
 
There are also people who just don't like the band or Yomi's vocals. 
 
Also keep in mind that negative reactions are much more motivating than positive ones and people are much more inclined to show opposition than interest, specially on the internet. This creates a climate that does not encourage constructive talk about the band because bad impressions pile up so much that people who may want to say other kind of thigs feel out of place.
 
Happens in every communty in every place on the internet; everything is, to a degree,  a sort of echo chamber of negative feedback.
 
TL;DR - Some peole think Nightmare was too popular for how good they are. Also, it's the internet.

I have to agree with Dudemanguy the title of the single had me worried that he would try to sing the whole song in falsetto or something like that too. I'm glad we were mistaken.
Song sounds great, and even if you can't really understand anything I like having him sing in other languages, at least once in a while.
