Wow, foundation works wonders.

Perhaps too much dedication to visuals and not so much to music...

That set again, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

I have been listening to LIN for a bit more than two months now and in general I loved the sound of the band, especially, their song Metamorphose. However, I found out that Riku left the band and Sui is the new vocalist. Along with Riku, the previous sound of the band left too and now the band sounds almost completely different.
 
Not that I don't like the new sound, it just sounds like a different band to me and perhaps a band name change would have been recommendable.

I have a passion for languages. I don't learn languages because they could provide me with any financial benefit (if it happens however then bring it on!).  I love to be able to say things in other languages. It is like discovering a new world.
 
You never know if you could become an interpreter and/or a translator of Japanese news for any TV station...

I don't think I want to move to Japan. I don't know what I could do there (teaching Spanish, perhaps...). Besides, the toughness of the working world in Japan doesn't appeal to me at all. I need balance and me time and Japan doesn't seem to provide that to its workers...
 
But I am teaching myself Japanese more determined than in previous years. My goal is to be able to speak and understand basic Japanese by the end of the year. Thanks to Youtube I can exercise what I am learning.
 
When I reach the level to laugh at a joke in Japanese I will know I can SPEAK the language.

Fans of Visual Kei will always be a small fraction of the population because of the sense of subculture of the scene just like gothic, and other subcultures.

Loved the lilt in the music so typical of Visual Kei.

Yukari was brought in by Haru and management to help with production and mastering etc. With Resistar and Dog Studio.

Could you please provide details if possible? When was this article/interview published? What it is about? Is it known how old YUKARI is now? etc.
 
I had already lost all hopes of seeing or hearing anything new about YUKARI. He seemed to have vanished from the surface of the planet, but there he is!!

I always liked the Yami ni chiru sakura side of the band.

I have to agree with ricchubunny. CD sales are NOT a good indication for how successful a band is. To get the most accurate picture, the best place to look is the venue capacity for their one-man lives.

Today most Visual Kei bands sound the same and their music (poppish and many times unispired, in my opinion) doesn't appeal to me.
 
Also, most Visual Kei bands have totally gotten rid of the dramatic performances and the shock factor behind the aesthetics that it feels there is not need for makeup and specific type of clothes anymore if they are not going to do anything with them apart from trying to simply look cute and fashionable.

I suppose that is the lead guitar (I don't know the technical terms for this) but one of the guitars with its kind of eccentric melody reminds me of Chocoripeyes (Vidoll).

I wonder if that guard in the first video was really moving to the rithm of the song or it is the cam movements...

I wish someone would teach this kind of scream very particular of Visual Kei on Youtube.
