Capitalism is disgusting and utterly ruthless... Yeah, Republicans are quite the comedy troupe. They claim to be against "big government", yet they allow all these major corporations to run amok, stifling both prospective competition and beneficial legislation - the irony here being that these corporations have essentially become "big government". Democrats aren't any better, though...They won't challenge anything that remotely threatens to pilfer a few coins from their pockets either. At any rate, I think this is amazing and I really do hope this takes off somehow. Having an alternative to the major ISPs here (with their shitty service and all) would be a beautiful thing.

Ok, this is kind of a big deal for me. I know most ppl at MH have kinda pegged me as "the indie dude" and some here consider me a paragon of Japanese music knowledge, but Rocket Shinobi here has been one of the major influences on my musical journey. Yep, Rocket is pretty much an OG and belongs to a specific group of Japanese Indie fans that I consider my seniors - people that helped introduce me to the vast world of "J-indie" and many other forms of music in general. Basically, Rocket is one of my "ongaku sempais" if you will. So for me, It's both a pleasure and an honor that he actually registered here and made an introduction post no less. ; ) oh btw, Welcome Rocket!

As music fans, we all have that one band - that one band that we can't seem to get into, but everyone else seems to completely adore. The purpose of this thread is to find out exactly why other people enjoy those bands that escape our interest - to get to the bottom of all of the hype. Now this thread SHOULD NOT be used as a vehicle to bash or "throw shade" at bands or other music fans (although plz be honest by all means). This thread is for respectul music fans that are genuinely curious about discovering why certain bands are so popular or so well liked. So if you'd like someone to explain the hype surrounding a certain band, then feel free to ask here! And if you can offer a legit reason or a sound theory as to why you think the bands mentioned in this thread are so hyped, then by all means, go for it! Hopefully everyone will be able to walk away from this topic a bit more enlightened. ; ) Now firstly....I'D LIKE TO ADDRESS MEJIBRAY. What's the deal with these dudes? Their appeal and popularity is a bit lost on me, so would someone please explain the hype?

The title of the album is erring on the side of cheesy, but I'll overlook that because this is TK we're talking about. Interesting to see chara featured on the album - both tk and her have that shrill, whispery vocal style, so I'm pretty curious to see how they compliment each other.
