@Komorebi i'm a male and i don't need to punch others or anything to have a good time. If you need to, stay home, violence is disgusting, i will, atleast the bands i listen to are doing amazing headbanging every time, so no complaints from me. Also, i think "western heawy MeTaL DooDz" are losing the "battle" very bitterly since the amount of endless black hair i see in japanese concerts is totally fucking cool. 

i'm not a huge furi fan (or at least i prefer kobushi/headbang-only bands or simple, thematic stuff like ARCHEMI.) but saying "isn't the furi weird" about vk at this point is basically as confusing as saying "isn't the crossdressing weird" -- like yeah i guess but that's part of what makes vk what it is

There seems to be a misconception that moshing 100% equals violence, aggression, etc. Which is most definitely not the case, at least not in the sense of deliberately causing harm. The main and only point is fun, that's it. Moshpits are called moshpits for a reason, since they are separate from the other concert-goers, and that boundary is respected 99% of cases. At least out of all the shows I attended. (from huge festivals/arena shows to your filthiest underground beatdown show). Everyone is free to do their thing and no one should be called disgusting for it.

PS: furi is fucking weird, as is just plainly standing still during a show (any kind of show), but I still respect it
