I liked 'em. I saw Naine in 2013 with a bunch of bands... I had no idea who Naine were but was excited because right before their set about 4 or 5 other guys came into the venue so I figured (sexist-ly?) 'oh these guys must be kind of heavy, or at least not going for sparkly, pretty boy VK'. (which was a relief because they played right after Trust) I LOVE Answers/Matter of Fact and think the rest of their stuff is mostly solid as well.

Cool song! I don't really like Hisame's new goth-spider-web hair style that's happening. Maybe the concept sounded good but I think it's kind of ugly.... though I'm probably just confused because I prefer how *pretty* he usually is. (white thigh-highs/nurse outfit especially)

Oooh I liked Amaranyx. So they're releasing a live-only EP and a regular I might be able to buy it EP at basically the same time? Hopefully it's just a different SE or something.

I voted for "more reviews" and "articles that aren't reviews". And since I don't necessarily mean 'do more work' I'd encourage the review team to do more reviews of shorter releases. I get why you'd gravitate toward reviews of full-lengths but I'd also enjoy short ~200 word reviews of singles that act as a jumping off point for discussion.

Dude, this shit is great! I imagine I need to be in a very specific mood to play it but still.... hell yeah. Also like 6 months late but just got around to the new Ghost Bath and I think it's pretty awesome despite the lackluster reviews I read when it came out (maybe some of those writers were bitter they had to retract their 'burgeoning chinese black metal scene' articles haha)

I don't think I've thought about Silversun Pickups in years... but I liked the first two records so maybe it's time to delve back in. Good lookin' out!

Some serious re-arranging and alphabetizing today: My VK collection and some unrelated DVDs (maybe I should've edited out the fact that I own two copies of Bad Boys...) My Avelcain and The Gallo collections. Far from complete but there's some cool stuff in there. Bought that towel when I saw Avelcain and Grieva in 2013!

My general idea for this thread is for it to be a place for people (like me) who have some jrock/VK odds & ends that they want to get rid of to pass them along to others who may want them. So everyone that has some old flyers you're never going to hang up, or magazines you really don't need taking up space on your shelf; post away! If there are any 'rules' they are: 1. You can only charge shipping. 2. No posting an offer to buy something after it has been claimed. If someone posts something, they've committed to giving it away. 3. Only claim something if you want it for yourself, don't try to resell something somebody gave you. (I certainly can't police this, but c'mon, don't be a jerk) Everything is spoken for... thanks for the help cleaning everybody.

Wait till November and knock it out during National Novel Writing Month. I did it once in college (nearly a decade ago *sigh*) and, while I certainly didn't produce anything worth reading, it was challenging and fun.
