I do actually legit hate them. They're probably the only Jrock band I literally can't stand. Even though I enjoy bashing on Diru from time to time, I do like a lot of their music, I just find them overrated. I mean, I suppose if X had disappeared like Malice Mizer, I'd have forgotten that I hated them by now.But no, they're still hanging around, trying to be relevant. I guess the key for me is that I don't find their music amazing in the least bit. Quite the opposite in fact.

aiya! i forgot about Kenzo, yes, seconding him, definitely. his drumming is what made me like Ayabie in the first place, lol.

I definitely want new songs, not just another one night reunion concert, as cool as that was.

It's funny, in threads like this, there's always the people who think ONLY JAPAN makes good music and then there's the people that say all they (Japanese artists) do is rip off Western artists and it's still the Americans and Europeans that make the best and most unique music. I find both positions laughable, tbh.

I was kinda like, whew, when I read that. At least there was something. Because the amount of people seemed way below the Showbox's 1000 capacity. =/ I felt kinda bad for them, but it sounds like the crowd's vigor made for it, so that's good, lol

idk, i guess the variety. even in pop there's a lot of variety. and artists/bands don't typically stick to only one style. oh that and they release so quickly. i tend to forget about bands/artists that don't release an album a year, lol

Hahah, Cibo Matto! Me too, actually, lol. I still have their stuff.I liked Jpop for awhile before moving onto rock/VK. Things like DAI, hitomi, The Brilliant Green, Every Little Thing, etc. It was after Megadeth broke up (the first time) that I started looking into the rock scene. Started with stuff like L'arc, the Pillows, Ajikan, LUNA SEA, etc. First VK band was D'espairsRay, and I was really into them for a short time, then Kagerou, and Deadman shortly after. Eventually fell in love with MUCC and the rest is history and involves too many bands, lol.
