re:the last sentence, those are my thoughts exactly. it stands out, but it's far from any kind of masterpiece and considering the album, you might say standing out isn't exactly hard....lol

This Life — TOTALFAT New album rocksssss

Thank you for this post tbh. And, sidenote, Ominous was the only song that stood out to me lol. it's frankly nowhere near the level of DIM imo. Very good Deathgaze cover album though.

finally the hell.fm avatar system works again. a 200x200 square seems to yield a decent circle. goodbye to my stash of previous avvys tho hah. =/

Idk if this is a glitch or what, but when I go into certain artist pages in my library, they have 0 albums listed and just a bunch of tracks. SO much of this crap is just rendering Last FM pointless, Idk if they know that but...

There's stupid and then there's the generic-ass names that make searches difficult and tagging on hell.fm also difficult. Give me some bizarre name like Mix Speaker's Inc any day over Seed, Gossip or Rogue lol. Names that are cool tho: the god and death stars Hilcrhyme SPYAIR Base Ball Bear Nothing's Carved in Stone 9mm Parabellum Bullet Mouse on the Keys Sekai no Owari This is Not a Business Luna Sea

That is a HUGE relief. Even though I still think they deleted some of my scrobbles bc a few of my 0 artists should have plays. But still, this'll do for the moment lol

I like Lin, but Phantasmagoria will always be my fave.

I think it is legit tho lol. If you don't like what a band does, move on. Idg the point of whining about it and going on and on about how terrible it is. Like, boohoo, some band made an album you don't like, or some band offends you with their very existence. Who cares. Find something you DO like instead. Pretty simple.

I think the easy, simple answer is basically: yes. In general, people have a problem of denigrating something else to bring something else up and it's sort of hilarious bc since when did that ever work? Have you ever gone, oh yeah, my bad, you're right, this band I like sucks, let me just go listen to your band. Nah, never happened.

Honorable mention to the Scapegoat song. This is obviously my VK-onrii playlist. ;p

Hah, Deathgaze embodies this for me. I've been following that band for a loooooong time and every so often they put out something super cool, but the vast majority of it bores me to death.
-
More in counter-intuitive Last FM crap. Instead of a streamlined artist library, it's a bunch of clunky junk. I used to be able to go right down the list and find tracks from duplicate sources. Now I have to click on each fucking one. ARGH.

following for the lulz

I didn't know that with the bandpages, but I noticed from the beginning that a bunch of albums without tracklist wikis had their photos deleted, like they weren't legit or something. Really dumb. Heh, my old avvy before the update came back, but I still can't modify it myself. =/
