^ That's surprising because actually your foobar looks more "cluttered". Cluttered to me means unorganized, you can clearly see which is more organized comparing your foobar and say my foobar a few pages back.

and btw JAM is probably one of the most simplistic and minimalistic foobar skins I've seen in a long time so...

OK I've officially caught up. The first 2.5 episodes feel like a cheap SAO clone. Everything after that is when Log Horizon grows into it's own thing.

jesus, totally forgot about wakusei! i actually downloaded it and put it on my ipod when it came out, but then it completely left my brainworks
this shit is seriously cool, very tokyo jihen-ish, in a good way!
thanks for pointing them out again (over the winter-holidays i will be hanging at my parents place and be very very bored, ideal for listening this whole list through and maybe reviewing the stuff that caught my attention )

^ It's easy go over here: http://flipout69.deviantart.com/art/JAM-v1-2-407758948 and download the zip file and then extract it. There will be a pdf. file with instructions on how to install it and get it up and working.

Seriously though it's so easy, I installed it within 5 minutes and then took only another 10 minutes for me to get it configured correctly. if you need any help feel free to PM me about it

There is an order but it's complex to explain coherently.
First, we independently assembled a list of albums we liked from this year. Each album counted as one vote, and we could each pick a handful of albums to have two votes if we really liked it and thought it deserved a place here. We tallied them up, and after some fudging and cleverness the 25 albums with the most weight made it onto the list. The albums are being reviewed in numerical order from least to most votes, and albums that have the same number of votes are reviewed in alphabetical order. The reviews are written by the staff member(s) that voted for them to be on the list (I just happen to write extra reviews if the mood strikes me). If only one staff member reviewed an album, that's because only one staff member voted for the album and it made it.
So yes, this is in order. It's just transparent to you guys.

yeah Tam Tam - Polarize is great album! It is in my list too! Never imagine that reggae can be combined with electronic dub, and went well. Looking forward to their major debut!

And about kinoko, I like their first album better, but their new EP is great too

I figure since it comes out tomorrow we might as well get a discussion topic going.

So who's all gonna get it and which copy are you getting, X, Y, or both? I've had my copy of X pre-ordered since last month and I just went and reserved one of the guide books today so I don't risk them selling out. I've been trying to avoid spoilers and leaks on the internet for the past few weeks but it's really hard not to be curious... I just get more and more excited when I see something new What's everyone most excited about? for me it has to be all the new mega evolutions xD

Oh and please no spoilers in this thread

It's funny because I was disappointed by dir en grey's Unraveling, but yet I still enjoyed it. For me it's missing all the power the originals had and it made no sense to remake songs that were good to begin with.

Yet the way the band remade their songs, with layers, improved production, and their now matured musicianship, it's a release that's  hard not to applaud.

I checked out a picture of her and I really enjoyed them. Great instrumental post-rock. I hand't heard of them before so it's great to find a new band. They've got enough going on to keep you engaged in or simply lay back and relax

Already know Cyclamen and I'm a fan of the band.

First of all thanks for actually replying to my post instead of pushing it aside with retarded gifs like some other people... and secondly I have been hearing a lot of great things about this show and how well done it is, so in an effort to not make me seem like a total dick, I think I might at least try to watch the first season sometime soon.. actually your post in particular has sparked my interest to at least give it a chance, but I'm not promising anything I might still not like it xD

Awesome! Of course youcan't promise anything, but it is worth a try and I am sure you'll find something to enjoy about the series. It is very true to the original stories despite being modernized and can't be compared to Elementary, or the recent Sherlock Holmes films. It's way closer to the original source. And if it doesn't work out for you you can always go back to watching The Hound of the Baskervilles (1939), The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1939) and the other classic Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce films, but these two mentioned are the best ones. Or Sherlock Holmes (series, 1954) or The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes. But it is worth a try and I am sure you'll enjoy it, despite not knowing anything about your taste at all.

The films and series I mentioned are recommended by the way. Great, great adaptations worthy of everybody's time.

Everyone's entitled their opinion and that's cool. And I'm a bit like you. I'm not too fond of "modernization" either, but every now and then it works out just fine, and this is one example on this. Sherlock is truly an excellent series, and while not on par with some of the films and earlier series, still amazing. The reason for "modernizing" are obviously the fact that there's already half a million films and TV-series based on Sherlock Holmes. It was time for something new. Despite not being a fan of "modernization" just like myself I would recommend you to check out. It's brilliant. Truly is.

The chemistry between Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman are excellent and the acting is great for most part, it's well written and well directed. There's just not much to put your finger on here. If I have to put my finger on something "weak" I would have to say "The Hounds of Baskerville". Not a bad episode at all, just not on par with the rest of the series.

And about the ending (BEWARE! SPOILER!):

I've only seen the last season once as soon as it came out so I might be a bit off here, but the big truck and the man on the bicycle are the main things to watch here. I'm sure Sherlock fixed some help and landed on something soft in back of the truck, and while this happened a bicyclist jolting against Watson made him miss it and it all seems real. I'm also sure he used the of the small balls seen earlier in that episode (or the previous?) one to stop his puls. Hide a ball under your armpit and squeeze and you're making it hard for the blood to come through as one of your major arteries is there, your pulse will gradually slow down and then completly disappear.

I'm not sure as I am not an expert, but I believe this might be the thing. I gotta rewatch both seasons soon enough, though. I might be far off as it is almost two years since I watched the episode, but that's how I remember it at least.

Elementary is awful by the way. Godawful series.

Original Saku reacted to manda in Letter from the Designer Part I
Hello people who probably don't know me! I am Manda. My job is to make things look pretty and function on the front end of Deadeyes-star.com (Kai gets the back end, hehehe). Here I present to you my first "Letter from the Designer"!

    The past couple of weeks I've made huge progress in coding out DS's theme with pyrocms. However, we discovered the hard way that pyro is great for back end development and completely sucks for front end. There is little documentation on how to properly set things up functionally in regards to front end functions so it's been a whole bunch of trial and error and making shit up! So I apologize for my part of things taking a little long ;__;

As of right now we have the following functioning:
User login and login forms User registration and registration forms User Profiles and control panel User shoutbox "Featured" slider Articles and all article functions complete Category and site wide tagging system Commenting system Static Pages All of this not including the massive amount of work Kai put into building the custom module for bands. Before we can open to the public we need we need to finish up the following:

Index page set up Band profile layout coded Search Function MH to DS user accont integration
Once these features are complete the site can launch in it's test phase and designated staff can begin work on entering information into the database! SO EXCITING!
Adding in these features shouldn't take very long. I estimate less than a month if we can keep up a good pace with only a couple of brick walls to run into.

And now I leave you with screen shots of progress!

I like them both a lot and they have similar trajectories in my mind (similar to CAT's) so it is tough... but what gives the edge (although unfairly) is I have seen Cinema Staff live twice and haven't seen Arukara yet. CS were totally on point and just the right amount of swinging from lighting fixtures antics to please me.
