Dude you have to play the VN. the people hyping the show are the people who have played the VN and know the UBW route, so basically Type-moon fans Who know what they like. Me being a type-moon fan and someone who has played the VN, I can say that so far the show is very good and is meeting all my expectations at this point. Also ufotable is doing a wonderful job in the animation department... like holy fuck the show is freaking beautiful. if you can't understand or don't think the show is good, it's most likely because you don't know the source and therefore don't know what to expect later down the line. All I can tell you is too either stick it out or drop it. but srsly it's a slow start right now at the beginning but it's gonna get so good in a while watching the how makes me want to replay the route in the VN so bad xD EDIT: also to answer your question more simply, people are hype because we type-moon fans have been waiting years for this route to be properly animated in a series, and now it's finally here and better yet we're hype because after the first few episodes we have noticed that it's amazing

Destiny's hold on me is strong... I have two level 29 characters, a Hunter and a warlock, and one level 25 character that I'm currently working on to get better gear, a Titan. My life is gone. gonna be going to pick up The Evil Within tomorrow though, hopefully that can distract me long enough xD

yeah I don't really know if I'm gonna check out that Terraformars show or not... I read the synopsis and it really doesn't sound all that great.

The game is boring as fuck by yourself, but it has some of the funnest co-op I've ever experienced. It even rivals Borderlands co-op... the PVP is also not half bad either but really, if you're gonna play this game then find a group of people that you can play with on a regular basis. also the game is not for the uninitiated, some of the harder stuff like the nightfall strikes and raids are really hard and require great teamwork and precision to complete. Basically the game has stuff for the more hardcore players to do the only thing i can tell you is that your friend probably played by himself and not with friends... and really this is a horrible game to try to solo. I would die of boredom if I played this game by myself xD

I still have 2 or 3 episodes of Zankyou left to watch, but yes I was already seeing the show slowly degrading episode by episode, so it doesn't really surprise me if the ending is really disappointing.

I don't know what people are talking about ,the summer season was filled with excellent shows... I can name more than a few off the top of my head right now. Barakamon, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Hanayamata, Ao Haru Ride, Magimoji Rurumo. that's just off the top of my head. All of those got a 8 or above from me.... most people who say that the season is bad and there's noting good on are usually the people who don't even bother checking everything out, They pretty much just judge everything before even watching the first episode. As for the upcoming fall season, there is gonna be; Gundam: G no Reconguista, Log Horizon 2, Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works, Ai Tenchi Muyo!, Yowamushi Pedal GRANDE Road, Gundam Build Fighters TRY, Hitsugi no Chaika AVENGING BATTLE, Psycho Pass 2, and Mushishi Zoku-shou Second Season. M3 was actually a rather decent show. It really started to surprise me about half way through, and while the mecha action wasn't top notch the characters were really good and most of them had a lot of really good development that really made the show for me. Also the soundtrack wasn't half bad either. The overall plot could of been a little more well put together, but it still worked the way they decided to do it. Overall this was a surprise show from this last season that turned out a lot better than I originally anticipated... definitely a sleeper imo. I downloaded the new Buddy Complex OVA's as well but have not watched them yet... do they completely wrap it up and eliminate all hope for a second season? Buddy Complex was a show that I had problems with in some areas and in others it was all good for me. If by chance the OVA's did leave some wriggle room for a second season, I would not be against watching another season if it did indeed happened. P.S. Bakumatsu Rock was pretty shit if you ask me... XD can't believe I stuck through it all the way, it really started to get ridiculous after the halfway mark.

I listened to it and it doesn't resemble anything close to MM music. people really should know what they're talking about before they post stupid shit like that. Why the fuck would you even compare it to that when it literally doesn't sound nothing like it...

^ congrats man! it just keeps getting easier and easier from here. last week when I beat it the first time it took us 6 or so hours, this week it only took us a few hours (around 2). next week I fully expect us to beat it in under an hour and a half.

It sounds interesting, I think it could be pretty fun especially if you can get a few people together for a skype call.

it's hard to say... I find the show enjoyable at times and then other times i just can't stand it. I will say that for the most part I really like most of the characters, and the story isn't absolutely terrible but there are times in the plot where I'm just like "wut just happened?". I wouldn't say the show is great or anything but it's not trash or even mildly bad. I would just call it decent and a good distraction from boredom. So if you need something to watch and you don't have any other better candidates out there then I say go for it because you could do a lot worst than Hamatora, that's for sure.

Well after nearly three years of being on the air Hunter x Hunter has ended... I just want to say this was one of the best anime adaptions I've ever watched and Madhouse did a wonderful job all the way through, they really were able to adapt the manga quite well staying loyal to the source material while at the same time making it their own. I'm gonna miss this show so much, but hey maybe in 5 or so years when there is finally enough source material built up they can start another season... I can hope right?
