  1. This might only be a single, but it's a really good one, even if it is a cover.

    Eskimo Callboy - Cinema

    Download: HERE

Rings of Saturn - Dingir album stream

    Download: HERE

These guys are my new favorite metal band I've recently come across. They're technical deathmetal/deathcore with topics dealing all about aliens. They released they're album for free and upload guitar tabs for all their songs which is awesome. As for the album itself, it's a mash of brutality, technicality and a few melodic passages. It's sick. There are a ton of  alien sounding guitar sweeps and the double bass drumming and blast beats are the fastest I have ever heard from any drummer.

  2. ^ I only know Unlimits who are great.

Asking Alexandria - A Candlelit Dinner With Inamorta

    Atreyu - Wait For You
    Miki Furukawa - Chain Reaction
Moving Mountains - Where Two Bodies Lie
Beastie Boys - Fight For Your Life
The Killers - Everything Will Be Alright
    Metallica -  The struggle within
    どん - Asthma
    The Raconteurs - Intimate Secretary
    Textures - Consonant Hemispheres

  3. In terms of Japanese releases strictly for 2013 there haven’t been that many I’ve been interested in so I have a shortlist.

Alter - When Something New Begins

    Artema - Artema

    Boom Boom Satellites - Embrace

Lemon Chair/Tokyo Shoegazer - Japan Shoegazer As Only One EP

    Yousei Teikoku - PAX VESANIA

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu - Furisodeshon/ Ninjayari Ban Ban singles

    Ami Suzuki - Snow Ring

    Babymetal - Ijime DameZettai

    Alicenine - Daybreak

Most of the Japanese albums I’m looking forward are in the summer.

As far as everything else goes.

Bullet For My Valentine - Temper Temper

Black Veil Brides - The Wretched And Divine

    Soilwork - The Living Infinite

    EskimoCallboy - Cenima

Got Killswitch Engage and Bring Me the Horizon releasing material next week and I’m sure that won’t disappoint either. Again, more of the awesome releases are later in the year.

  4. Lee Mckinny, the guitarist from Born Of Osiris just put out a free EP of his electronic side project Mechanize and it's awesome. Proves he's just not sick at guitar shredding, but also great at making addictive dubstep beats.

    Mechanize - Fanatsy

    Download: HERE

    Butter The Children - Lupus

A indie rock band with nice guitar work and pop melodies. There EP was a fun listen.

  5. Bring Me the Horizon's Sempiternal is a great album. Best they have done till now. They're really evolving. It's just a sad thing that it got leaked 2 months before its release date.

I was (still am) planning to buy their new album. I was super impressed by the material they released, but I had no idea it had leaked 2 months prior to the release date. That's a major blow for any band.

Okay, I am seriously waiting on more information for Periphery! I need new stuff! I'm spamming their current stuff like crazy~

Where did you hear about Animals as Leaders having a new album?

Misha has stated on his facebook that he is working with Tosin on new ASL material. His exact words were, "Tosin Abasi and I have been hard at work on the new Animals As Leaders material. Six songs down so far!"

And Volumes (another awesome tech progessive djent band I recently got into) released a photo of themselves working with Tosin and Javier. I'm guessing they're doing some sort of collaboration between the two for a single or ep or something. Either way I'm excited about that.

And as much I love Periphery's work and self-titled album, I think I'm more psyched for the new Born Of Osiris album than Juggernaut. The Discovery was a brilliant album in so many aspects, so I'm excited to see how will they top it. If you like Periphery and ASL check out Born of Osiris's The Discovery or even Volumes Via. They each have their own take on the progressive metal djent thing with awesome production.

And here's the band working on Juggernaut.

I'm really hoping it's a double disc release.

  7. ^ I can't wait for their new album. High violet is also one of my fav's. And it's out May 20, 2013 in Europe and May 21 in North America.

One of the albums I most looking forward to in 2013. And I'm seeing these guys live in June for the first time so I'm also excited about that.

  8. New album and tracklist have been announced. It's out June 4

They put up the first track from the album for free on their website. http://www.officialfilter.com/

it's  pretty good. It gets better as it progresses, but I'm hoping the rest of the tracks are heavier.

  9. Great news. I wonder if this means Despa will get back together again or if Hizumi will start up or join another band. I wouldn't mind either, but I do want Despa back. And hopefully the time apart was good for them. I wasn't too fond of Monsters.

  10. Bullet For My Valentine Tickets

Gastby moving rubber spiky edge hair wax

    A cool messenger bag.

And tickets to see The Dillinger Escape Plan and The Faceless. ( Show will be epic). I've been dying to see The Faceless and their last concert with Cradle of Filth and the Agonist was cancelled.

  11. Lots of good bands there. Diru, RHCP, Lynch Radiohead. Don't know the rest though.

    Iron Maiden - Prowler

    Revocation - Conjuring The Cataclysm

     - Songs got a magical feeling

Arch Enemy - Under Black Flags We March

    U2 - Mysterious Ways

    FAKE? - Mainline

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts - School Days

    AC/DC - Shake your foundations

    girugamesh - BEAST

  12. Frankly I love these guys , and it really makes me happy seeing other J-Rock fans do to. I don't see where people get off saying they sucks? Why , because they know how to compose music that doesn't sound like a ton of shit? Its the same deal with Black Veil Brides , but there's other reason they're slammed on which are fucking ridiculous reasons.

All the hate they're getting is from Temper Temper. Mostly because people are saying it's too simplistic. And some of the songs are more stripped down, in favor of being more accesible, but the album as whole is still really good. It's not like they went soft or anything. The screams and double bass drumming is there and the guitar solos are awesome. They still rock and I'm seeing these guys live for the first time in April.

As for Black Viel Bride's they do get a lot of hate for really stupid reasons. But on each album they've vastly improved and their latest is the best release they've done so far. Andy's improved vocals and the cool addition of string sections were great.

  13. I know Unlimits and the Tings Tings. Both of which I like. I know Taylor swift too, and she has some okay songs, but I still find most of her music to be generic radio friendly pop and I find her to be as mature as a whiney 13 year-old girl.

Caz - A Tail Of The Wind - the drums are awesome, so are the guitars and I Iove the bass playing.

Yngwie Malmsteen - Anguish and fear

Alice In Chains - I Am Inside

    Greenday - Murder City

    Mnemic - Jack Vegas

    Suitei Shojo - Shitsuren Song

    Disturbed - Perfect Insanity

    Flyleaf - Fully Alive

Ami Suzuki - A Toke Of Love

Angels And Airwaves - Some Orgins Of Fire

  14. Beat Culture - Tokyo Dreamer

Beat Culture is manufactured by 17-year old Sunik Kim, who, simply put, creates experimental-dream-glitch-post-dubstep. The cohesive and cleverly produced "Goldenbacked Weaver" is Beat Culture's debut album filled with a swirl of sub-genres and samples; you can hear a slight influence of Gold Panda, Animal Collective, Star Slinger, Burial and others. From Hong Kong (but actually Korean) and attending boarding school in Concord, New Hampshire, Beat Culture's tracks consists of catchy phrases and atmospheric beats that "push tracks past the limit with no regard for the rules"

    No Anchor - Golden Bridge

They're sludge/stoner/crust. If you enjoy that type of thing or noisy droning, give them a try.

    Download: Here

Videos seem to be working now and Barrows are awesome. Will go through the rest of the list later.

  15. I know 9goats and moran who are awesome. I know dali who are ok. And I know Nicki manija but I think the majority of her music is atrocious. Don't know the rest.

I thought mines was a pretty weird mix. I don't think I could choose a favorite, but I'm loving Digital Renegade atm.
