  1. This is the album I've heard from them. I pretty much like it, though I can't compare it to thier older stuff since I haven't listened to it yet. Though I just recently got their new album and your right it doesnt really sound like atreyu anymore

Atreyu is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California, formed in 1998. The band consists of vocalist/lyricist Alex Varkatzas, guitarists Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel, bassist Marc McKnight and drummer/vocalist Brandon Saller. The band was originally named "Retribution", but later changed their name to "Atreyu" (after the character of the same name from the fantasy book/movie The Neverending Story). Since their formation the band have since released five studio albums: Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses, The Curse, A Death-Grip on Yesterday, Lead Sails Paper Anchor, and Congregation of the Damned.

So these guys are pretty much legends in the metalcore genre considering they were one of the pioneering bands in the scene.?

Dethklok is both a virtual band featured in the Adult Swim animated program Metalocalypse, as well as a real band created to perform the band's melodic death metal music in live shows. The band was created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha. Dethklok is sometimes cited as an example of "comedy rock" on par with bands such as GWAR and Spinal Tap. The music heard on Metalocalypse is performed by Brendon Small, with others as needed. The first official Dethklok album was released on September 25, 2007, entitled The Dethalbum. The album debuted at number 21 on Billboard Magazine's Top 200 list. The band released Dethalbum II on September 29, 2009, and toured with Mastodon, High on Fire and Converge. Small and drummer Gene Hoglan performed on both albums.

Awesome band for something that started off as a 15 minute show.

  4. Society in general pisses me off...yeah...I'm mad for no reason. And I wouldn't worry about money if you live in the U.S . with the way this country has been massacred I'm excepting the stock market to crash in the next year or two and the value of the dollar to be nothing.

  6. If you guys read the lyrics along with Agony, it doesn't seem as rappish. It just seems like a very low educated japanese man trying to say some lyrics he wrote in japanese and copied and pasted into a Japanese-English translator to the drums.

    BWaaah?
