  1. D'espairsRay don't have a song called Zakura no Ame, if that helps at all. They have one by the name of Hai to Ame, but that's it. Maybe you mixed up the Dir en grey songs Zakuro and Ryoujoku no Ame.

  2. I never pay attention to manga that's made into movies, so I haven't seen the film but Junji Ito is... my third favourite guro artist. Although I prefer Tomie to Uzumaki, most of everything he's done is incredible and disturbing.

There should be a general eroguro thread. :X

  3. Well I have a snowflake moray eel, and they only grow to be about two feet long. They are quite vicious and aggressive, but I haven't been bitten (yet!) :/

And I feed him frozen smaller fish. Not that they need to be frozen. I could buy plenty of live fish and he'd gobble all of them up as happily.

I don't know of many people who successfully keep sea slugs, though. That would be cool. :o

  4. I remember when one of D'espairsRay's most recent singles was released, in my review I pointed out how it sounded like an UVERworld song and I thought it was funny... and one of my least favourite songs by them coincidentally.

I'm indifferent about them. I don't hate them. I don't care enough to. But I'm not a fan, either. I don't have their albums or .mp3s, but if a friend is listening to them, I won't bitch at them to skip the song. I actually wasn't aware "everyone hated them" until this post, so. D:

  5. Also, it always makes me uncomfortable how the people blogging deal with these situations.

It's always "we made you fans worry. We're so sorry. Please forgive us that he died!"

I don't know... It's strange to me how unemotional they can be.

It could be the sincerity or the sorrow is lost in translation; it could be an intrinsic need to be polite. And who knows, exactly, what to say or how to address fans when someone they're close to dies? I mean, we say "I'm sorry" too. Finding the words, especially a day after a death, is tricky.

It doesn't neccessarily mean they're not emotional, though. Hell, some of the blogs about Daisuke's death were wholly depressing.
