Haha, this thread is priceless. The charm is wearing off though so if I spot much more trolling I'll just start deleting posts.

This makes two in a row. Then again, they might put them on their next album so I still have hope.
-
If this acting is anything like the Ascendead Master movie, I simply must see this. They were too hilarious in that. Also, want that new single now. DESTINY didn't do too much for me but it wasn't a bad single by any stretch of my imagination.
-
Ah shit. Now this gives more bait for the tag wars on last.fm .___. I can see it now (THEIR SELF TITLED SONG IS ПЕРЕСТРОЙКА SO WE SHOULD TAG THEM THAT WAY)
-
Well sadly they're on hiatus as of now and there are only two more songs that aren't there: IN VAIN and RED FLAG. IN VAIN doesn't have many harsh vocals (if any, minus the shout at the beginning IIRC) but RED FLAG has a bit more. I'm hoping they come back though - they were surprisingly good.

Like I said, I'm growl-deaf so I wouldn't be able to tell. To me, he sounds more genuine than someone like Mao or Genki, so that's why I said "average". He's no beast like the guy in the video will put up is, but he puts more into it than the average VK vocalist as far as my ears can tell. When I think of distorted growls I think of Byou from SCREW and judge it based on that and to me, Nobu doesn't sound like that. @will: mCr798WW7II or LS17wG0lCVY should do.
-
Better be as good as their first two singles and better stay away from the crap that was their s/t.
-
You should try. I'm growl-deaf but even Nobu's growls caught me off guard the first time I heard them.
-
You never commented on DEATHGAZE or GREGORY though. Ai and Otogi's growls aren't much better though. I think only Nobu might be decent out of all the vocalists on that list.
-
All DELUHI really needs is Leda. The others are expendable but Sujk is actually a decent drummer. The other two range from mediocre to terrible. And this comes from a DELUHI fan.
-
I'm putting my Monopoly money down on a member departure (and I think my senses are gravitating toward either Sujk himself or Aggy). It's a common theme for VK bands to go on hiatus and then suddenly announce the departure of a member or two. ZORO anyone?
-
So wait, does DELUHI have a live on that date or is he just going to show up, Kanye the mic and then walk out? *is under the impression DELUHI has no more lives left*
-
They might have. I remember reading somewhere Hizaki's pretty arrogant and it doesn't seem like TOMOZO is much better.
-
Any opinion on it? Was it better or worse? Was it deathcore-d up like Zan was? Anything? I'm looking forward to OBSCURE more than LOTUS anyhow, much like how I was looking forward to ZAN more than Hageshisa.
-
Pics anyway, even though I know you probably do have them : D. I guess I'm just waiting for them to finally release a proper single although I don't think that will ever happen.
-
That live-distributed one "Diabolic edict"? Yeah, that one might as well not exist. PIG/CRime song is still nowhere to be found. :\
-
Um...question. Around Black:List's disbandment, didn't TOMOZO write an angry post on his now deleted blog stating that he never wanted to take the stage with any of the current members ever again? I see him and AIKA back together in a new band. Although this squashes any hope of a Black:List revival, Kyotaro's disappearance from the scene is more to blame for that I think, even though he's played some guest lives with AIKA. Anyway, glad to see half of B:L back.
-
a) Glad to see hajime is back. Is that both TOMOZO and AIKA from Black:List or is this a new AIKA?
-
Oh, Ha;qch still exist? Considering they never release anything, hardly ever update and have members disappear, that's surprising.
-
I'm thinking they'll more likely than not re-master the old tracks. If they choose to re-record, I think they'll only re-record the instrumental portions and re-master the vocals. Which I would prefer more IDK. If I'll even be able to tell a difference IDK.
-
Looks like on their second best of, they did it right. Great tracklist and I'm looking forward to it. Might even purchase it if I have the cash. And sad to say, I have the same gut feeling as nekkichi, although I'm going to ignore it.
-
Not any that I can think of. It seems like after TMOAB they've been releasing less singles inbetween albums. The span between Dozing Green and Glass Skin was just as long as this (maybe a little shorter).
-
Were you not a fan of Uroboros/Hageshisa or was this just a general comment and didn't reflect your feelings on Uroboros/Hageshisa any?

> JUDGING MATERIAL BY THE RELEASE DATE HERP DERP. Judging material by comparing it to the GazettE >___>. Just because they had a great album and an iffy single afterwards doesn't mean that every band that does the same thing will have the same results. It's completely possible that they started working on this material around the same time they started working on ROUGE and they picked the songs that were "ready" for ROUGE and worked on these a bit longer. They could have been working on these for even longer than the songs that were on the last album. Maybe they have a couple of great songs that didn't take too long to compose and they've got enough material for a new album. Point is, you just don't know. We could have looked at BORN's recent release spree and said "oh wow, this is going to suck because they're releasing too much too fast" but that came out just fine and by what the previews indicate their fourth mini will be no less stellar, even though they've released over fourteen songs in a five month period. I also suppose you're going to say that "Chinese Democracy" is the greatest album ever released because Axl Rose worked on it for so long and didn't announce it "a month after an album". Time spent composing music is only partially related to how it will sound. You can lay down a hit track in a week and you can spend three years writing a song to have it come out bad. Have some faith.
-
a) I hope this isn't another case of "Hageshisato" misleading previews. It's not long enough for me to like or dislike it :\
