I'm shocked by all the positive thoughts on the samples, I thought for sure this would fail. But, now I'm pumped to hear these! I can't wait until I get home to finally experience them
-
I've listened to the album several times by now and I can't honestly say I'm blown away... it's not bad but I feel that nothing on this album can compare to MIGRANT, LAST Shell, and DETOX from the last album... I will say that BIRTHDAY is one of the better intros to an album I've ever heard in my entire life, ROTATE, Pressed Flower, and Sky High are very good as well... other standouts... Plant and Strings, but not much else. Lead didn't really do a whole lot for me, but Thrust was the only song I really did not care for at all, whatsoever. I give the album a 6.5/10

Well at least I comprehend this stupidity now.
-
Okay so what you're saying is the other 4 members left and formed a band of the exact same name without Aoi and Aoi has his own solo project unafiliated with Ayabie or any of it's members? That's retarded.
-
This is fucking stupid.
This is what I gather here:
When Aoi left 彩冷える-ayabie- the other four members also left and started a new band, but the new band's name was AYABIE.
AYABIE is now releasing an album, while the fate of 彩冷える-ayabie- was sort of left in the balance.
So, 彩冷える-ayabie- is going on an indefinite hiatus so AYABIE can release new music.
Am I in the ball park?

THANK YOOOOUUUU!!!!

I'm LOVING Sky High and ROTATE.
And if that was more LEAD at the end of the first preview, then yes I'm oing to love that one too
-
Uhm.
That first song preview I guess was LEAD and I did not like it... too boring for me.
But that very last thing that sounded screamy... I'm not sure what that was....
But I liked that!

i remember that everyone laughed about batsu two years ago and now tw is even worse than batsu : D
jrock forums are always doomed.
This - TW is crap now. I do love it here, but I agree that JRock forums will always fall to pure dramz over... nothing.
-
I just had a lawl
-
Woot woot!! I'm super excited to see the other two as well, I hope they're up soon.
Thanks for this, btw!

A new song that I can guarantee won't sound like anything new or different.
-
This WAS way too fast, they really don't deserve this at all.

Going to try and make this short due to the fact that I have to leave for work rather shortly, but what I must start off saying is that I was nervous about the first release entirely done without Jasmine, as he was my favorite JRocker out there, blah blah blah etc etc etc. However, it REALLY wowed me, like 100%. The previews had me extremely worried that this was going to be just another Versailles single without anything really special to it. In any case, without further ado:
1. DESTINY -the lovers- - Really blew me away. It had a sense of being epic while having a sense of being a calm, beautiful ballad. From what I can make out of the lyrics (which isn't much) it's a very romantic song, that carries a lot of emotion. 9/10
2. GLOWING BUTTERFLY - This was the track that had me most worried about being generic, but was the track that stood out most to me. Epic intro is epic, amazing composition is amazing, etc. I don't have much to say about this song other than it being epic. 9.5/10
3. LIBIDO - Was worried about this song because the bass in the preview freaked me out a little. I didn't like how it was kind of like "beepbeep" every few seconds, but in the end, in the finished product, it added a LOT of character and turns out to be really catchy and make the track more... dance/rockish. 9/10
I honestly think that a more prominent bassline is where they were headed to since before Jasmine's death, so I think whether he lived or not wasn't going to make a difference musically. But either way, I'm glad there's more bass now. Overall, 9.5/10

Absolutely hate Nega, but somehow NEGASTROIKA isn't that bad. They have a sound that, to me, is fundamentally different than Nega's. Which is good because, imho, Nega is the Japanese equivalent of Nickelback in that they are the worst bands in their respective countries. However, I still hate this vocalist, but he's improved a little bit for this song.

Shouldn't the title be 「SORT OF GOOD」?This.
But as for my own input:
Seriously? Seriously.
Where are the songs from VID? Where is Itsuwari no Jouzai?
Wtf is this shit?
-
They just get progressively less interesting with their music, imho. I love their look, but a good look alone is not good enough to make good music. When they release a full album, I will take an honest listen. Until then, I don't want to hear sight or sound of this band.
-
I'm not expecting anything groundbreaking from this, but I'll give it a shot.

Are there romaji lyrics available yet?

Would've gone to see -OZ- if they would've come to Philadelphia...
I swear to God what these bands do not know is that there ARE people in Philadelphia willing to go see these bands... even in my itty-bitty-shitty-city Wilkes-Barre. There are a bunch of people looking to go see hard-rock bands and all we ever fucking get is Country musicians.
I feel Pennsylvania needz moar JRock!
EDIT:
If they had come to America on this particular tour that is.
-
Dear Pennsylvania and Northward,
Fuck you, you don't deserve us.
Love,
Aural Vampire.
-
Oh well, another amazing band neglecting the northeast =/
-
WOOOOOTTTTT!!! LOOK AT ALL THOSE NEW YORK CITY DATES! I wonder which one I'll choose to go to.

I'm cautiously hopeful. I liked Color and Inochi no Ki. This album has promise.
Then again, I liked ALIVE a whole fucking lot but it didn't even get put on the album.
Alice Nine - Stargazer:

I only listened to them once so far, but honestly I'm the opposite I was really impressed by this single. I think it had more substance in less tracks than Senkou had, at least. Stargazer was my favorite on the single, Karma was my least favorite, but it wasn't terrible. Shinkirou grew on me as the song went on. I just hope that when they do their next album, it won't suck as bad as VANDALIZE did.
I mean... VANDALIZE's singles were good... Mirrorball, Rainbows, Cross Game... I liked them, but the whole album sucked. This one... Hana, Senkou, and Stargazer... I like these a lot more. I have more hope for this album.
