  1. We need a sort of release calendar like the other one had in the news section that was stickied. That thing helped me remember what I had to preorder/download and idk if we have one here yet. If we do I haven't found it.

  2. Idk if this is on topic or not, but it is related to the topic...

Someone posted on Dir en grey's facebook to COME TO VIRGINIA!!!!111!!!ONE. Someone else posted on it and said "Or you could get your lazy ass up and drive to Baltimore or Philadelphia."

I agree with that. Baltimore is not far from Virginia and Philly is really only a stone's throw from Baltimore. It makes me angry to see when fans won't go a little extra distance to see a band that's suppsed to be one of their "favorites."

I drove 2.5 hours to Philly to see them, and I'm willing to get a night at a hotel in NYC and stay over to see just about any band or artist. Just sitting there and going "Come to ___!" is like me saying "Come to Wilkes-Barre!" It's just not going to happen... ever. So just go to the closest show, if they mean that much to you.

  3. My $0.02 on the covers: I agree with Furik and minre. To me it's an "augh, horrible Lady Gaga."

My $0.02 on Diru v. GazettE: No contest, I love Diru more. they're more my style, I find their music to be... 100% better if I'm being honest. Not to say GazettE hasn't had some songs that really blew me away. (See: Headache Man, Distress and Coma, and Chizuru). But... I just think Dir en grey are better in the music department. Their songs make me feel alive, they get me pumped and make me feel like going out and grabbing life by the balls. Whereas GazettE almost makes me feel faggy to listen to sometimes.

  4. Oh my God, fucking finally.

I'm extremely happy about this, with a hint of indignation.

Like... It's been forever since they've done anything of any real consequence it seems to me.

However, I am EXTREMELY excited to hear a new mini album, hopefully with 5 NEW songs, no rerecordings of anything.

    And good songs.

None of this "Murder Scope" bullshit.

And I need another brilliant ballad.

Like Sara or Tenjou e no Kakehashi wo,

    Not too demanding, I think.

  5. I think they were overall beautifully done. I think they have a lot of talent in terms of ballads and more pop/rock sounding songs, but when they try to do heavier stuff it's completely lost on me. I haven't listened to them since Truth, so I this was like a brand new awakening to them for me, I don't think I'll put any songs on my iPod just yet, I want to get more of a feel for them. The lengths of the songs were a little much, some where just entirely too long, but they really know their way around a ballad, imho.

    Overall 7.5/10

  6. Two ex-Sugar members almost guarantees awesome. Especially atsuto. And Kaya's not a bad vocalist. Just depends on what kinda stuff they end up doing.
Yeah, see, I'm thinking the same way, it's just... I'm worried that this band is going to be so different for Kaya that... I don't know, I'm just very concerned. I think that if they do something Versailles-reminiscent. Not full on Symphonic Metal, but just heavy, dark, with not a lot of screams, but very melodic and semi operatic... More like D maybe than anything. i think we're in for a treat.
