      US law is really complicated considering there are no legal books as in the continental law systems, so all laws are explained from court rulings (which have to be found on the internet).

    If I apply points to a CDJapan purchase, will the billing information on my package show the original price without the points being applied, or will it show the price of where the points have been reduced?

      Yeah same. They charge for what's on the box. If your order is below 22 with points but over 22 without points, CDJapan will write the value of above 22 on the package, and that's what you'll get taxed on. No declaration possibilities, sadly.

      The package itself will always display the original pricing (so using points won't help avoid customs sadly), but the bill in the package itself shows the price minus the points deduction.
