K-Pop. Every artist, single, album, song. Because it's so commercial it gets lame. I know it's kinda hypocrite saying this while being a vk fan, but come on, vk is not that commercial when compared to k-pop. It's all auto tune and almost no actual instruments at all.  I don't think they deserve our money.

Really? This is probably the best thing they've done since their 2nd album for me. It has 4~5 standout tracks when usually there's only 2 or 3. My only complaint is that too many songs sound like the Wii commercial.

Seimeisen got a reaction from Tetora in How much do you follow your favorite bands? (Questionnaire)
I once got both limited and standard version of the GazettE's single "VORTEX," just so I could get the poster... that is no longer on my wall. XD I was a pretty big DIR EN GREY collector several years ago; I bought 2 copies of 鬼葬, so I'd have both versions that only differ in artwork.
Similar to what CAT5 stated, I love buying CDs, I hate the idea of CDs becoming obsolete, but I don't have any disposable income, so I can't just buy any CDs that I want all the time. But now, even if I were rich, I wouldn't buy multiple types of a CD, unless the content of the actual disc was different, such as alternating bonus tracks or whatever.

Not really. I used to always buy merch when I was going through my goth phase in my teen years, I'd always get t-shirts whenever I could, but I have ZERO history of collecting polaroids. Right now, if I'm spending my money on anything relating to the band, it's only the music.

I would follow them ALL, if I had both of the following:
     - A twitter account or Ameblo whatever
     - Proficiency in the Japanese language

I have neither, so I'm not following anyone...

No. I have a strange way of working; I tend to increase the distance between myself and those I respect. They may think I'm cold, but at least they don't think I'm a clingy stalker!

No, but I'd love to catch someone doing that!

I buy clothes from Express and American Eagle, so I'm going to go with... no! I listen to Visual Kei and Metal, almost exclusively, but I wouldn't say that I dress like it.

    Hmmmm.....  CLOSET CHILD SHOPPING SPREE!!!

jk, I'd LOVE to visit. I've always been interested in Japanese culture, but I wouldn't live there unless I could afford to live as a freelancer with a rich doctor husband... or something like that.

I read a rumour that RUKI (the GazettE) hates yo-ka (DIAURA)? That's all I know. I don't really care about rumours, though.

I honestly don't really imagine myself meeting any of them XD
There are some people I'd be interested in meeting, though. I'd be interested to meet マモ (R指定), I've always been a little curious to know where his obsession with self mutilation stems from.

I cannot see myself being a musician. Ever! However, I'd LOVE to be a mastering/mixing engineer for a VK band! There are so many releases from the past that I'd loooooooooove to remaster/remix (and when I say remix, I don't mean "make a stupid club mix with two verses from the song on repeat"); it'd be interesting to hear what the GazettE's DIVISION FRAGMENT [ARTERY] would sound like with all the beep-hoops removed. It'd be fun to make a 5.1 mix of a release as well.

    ATTENTION SONY:

Let's face it: you snatched the GazettE up and signed them to your label faster than Dracula would volunteer at a blood drive. You know they have potential. I know they have potential. In five years we're going to be looking at a band that's at almost legendary status who would have exercised a great deal of influence on the scene. Then we're going to get into this discussion of how to milk even more money out of fans, and you're going to pull out one of these. So this is what's going to happen: I'll tell you what's good and who you could consider for these songs and if you take even a quarter of these suggestions, I will buy this album. Mostly because I want to see what these bands will do.

    BESTZETTE: A MICROCOSM

    1. FADELESS - MEJIBRAY x Sophia (ex. Blood Stain Child)

MEJIBRAY wants to be an indie version of the GazettE so badly it hurts, and I figure you want to start off the album with something familiar and catchy that will sell. I want to see how well MEJIBRAY can adapt Gazerock Drop-B tuning. Let Sophia handle all the female vocals and Tsuzuku can nail the incredibly simple but catchy vocal melody. Considering that they call themselves heavy, melodic rock, this is right up their alley.

    2. DERANGEMENT - girugamesh.

Leads in perfectly from the last track! I more than most people would like to forget that Gazestep was a thing. However, I think girugamesh would absolutely slay this song. Not to mention, they had their own little phase with MUSIC a few years before, so this is retreading familiar territory more than anything.

    3. SILLY GOD DISCO - Shiina Ringo x Seiji Kameda

I know exactly what you are thinking, but hear me out. The GazettE's original interpretation of this song suffers from spotty yet charming Engrish and tacky synth horns. Shiina's unofficial motto is that there's no such thing as too much as long as it's done tastefully. She'll handle the singing and orchestral duties. Kameda can handle the bass, which is integral to the groove of this song. Both of them are from TJ, so jazz sensibilities are not strange to them and they can funk around with the song until they get it right. I would pay to hear this.

    4. 余韻 - BORN

It's about time for something a little slower, right? The vocal pitch Ruki takes in this song is right around where Ryoga naturally sings, and parts of it harken back to the atmosphere of Abnormal Head Machine / THE PUBLIC CIRCUS when BORN actually tried with the atmosphere. Plus, it has enough visual kei trappings for BORN to feel comfortable. They can't pass up this opportunity.

    5.  LEECH - D.I.D.

Akane's throat-ripping screech on the opening of this track and a handful of some electronic elements are all this band needs to make this song their bitch. Not pretty sure what they'll do about all the female vocals, but they can figure it out.

I can see Ziyoouvachi taking this song and upping the amount of crazy, punky energy to ridiculous levels. For that alone, they should do this song and Ai-chan can use both her vocal styles.

    7. Psychedelic Heroine -

A stripped down, indie rock version of this song would just be lovely. The song practically cries for it. Ling Toshite Sigure is all about stripped down, noisy, but ultimately accessible rock. They go together like hands in gloves.

Straightforward metalcore with plenty of harsh vocals and plenty of room for clicky-clicky bass pedal courtesy of Naoki. Ai can take Ruki's lackluster performance and turn it into something awesome.

    9. 奈落- lynch.

Let's face it - the TOXIC B-sides are some of the GazettE's better work during that period, so one of them needs to make their way onto this make believe album of mine. lynch. is no stranger to slow tunes and piano, and Hazuki's vocals would fit in here very well. It's one of the few cases so far where I think the cover band can do this song better than the original artist, and Naraku is a pretty chill song.

Here's some old-school shit for the old-school band Grieva. Alll the weird sounds and vocal cues are ripe for the picking in this song. Grieva wouldn't be going too far out of their comfort zone with this one and can update an otherwise unknown and neglected GazettE song into something pretty special.

BUT BUT YOU WILL LOSE YOUR VOICE AND YNGWIE MALMSTEEN AND??!133 UHGHUH

All opinions and other junk aside; Jin has this uncanny ability to irritate the unsuspecting listener.

I like Jin, I secretly like some Nega as well - but it sure took a long while to get used to Jin's voice. It has a very rough quality to it, as to me it sounds like he is under the weather and very sore in the throat - so much so that is causes him pain to sing at all. While it can certainly be considered one of its appeals, it's also why a lot of people can't get into the stuff he is in at all. So a negative reaction isn't really surprising. I guess I would also maintain that he is not a particularly expressive vocalist ( which seems to be the main pro-argument ) or a good one, but that's neither here nor there. I'm still looking forward to whatever this projects turns out to be.
