Current GazettE. They literally sound like the whitest vkei band I've ever heard. I come to Japanese music because I want to hear something other than stereotypical American Metalcore. 
However, 2002 to 2010 gazette is much more enjoyable. Especially their 2002 to 2006 era.
 
Most of the wafuukei bands in the scene right now. I normally love traditional Japanese aesthetics, but most of the ones trying to do it now sound just like every other Vkei band but with bad Koto and Shakuhachi samples. I think if you're gonna do it, at least include some Japanese music theory or traditional Japanese vocals. 
Basically, I ain't saying you got to, but try being Kiryu, Guruguru Eigakan, Memento Mori, or Kagrra.
 
Not really a band, but the newer Dir en Grey fanbase that came in because of Uroboros and Dum Spiro Spero who think it's cool to hate on Vkei and say shit like "Wow, early Dir en Grey sucks and so does all of Visual Kei just because they wear makeup"

Finished Sex Education today. Loved every moment of it, the characters were so well developed and I enjoyed seeing where each storyline was going. Except for Adam and Eric's, I've seen that cliché a lot. Glee did it over ten years ago, it wasn't cute then and it isn't cute now. But apart from that, it brought something new to the table regarding  the teens vs sex theme. 

Yes! I had an awesome time at the Playstation Theater performance as well. Great energy on stage and in the crowd as well. I was really surprised by how many people attended, didn't know there was such a large following.

Vicious by V. E. Schwab and Evil: The Science Behind Humanity's Dark Side by Julia Shaw. It is fun pairing my villainous fictional reading with nonfiction related musings.

Yeah, I do very rarely listen to the same album more than a few times now. And I pretty much never buy blind. Before when I use to buy music without hearing it online first I'd pretty much get whatever had interesting covers or stuff I've heard about from a friend. And loved getting CD collections with multiple artists I've never heard of before. Now most of my CDs are not in use and I haven't even watched some of my favorite band DVDs in years. On the flip side, whoo those high quality streaming PVs. And there are still songs I listen to intensely for a couple weeks. Thank goodness for massive playlists and automatic artist recommendations, too. First heard of some extraordinary ones though stuff like internet radio.

Wolf's Rain! Oh that's an excellent one, I haven't watched it in far too long. I also really enjoyed Trigun and Blood+. And yup, FY is one of my nostalgic loves, one of the first series I was ever really into. They really had such funny faces and I loved how much more there was to the villains than just wanting power or ruling the world.

Oh, nice! Unfortunately, I haven't been keeping up with many recent animes, so I can't list any recent favorites. The only recent one so far is Boku no Hero Academia. As for some older series, I like Ghost in the Shell (Stand Alone Complex), Wolf's Rain, Trigun, and Blood+. Also, I saw you listed Fushigi Yuugi in your other post and I have to say, that is another favorite of my mine. It's such a classic. The art is a somewhat outdated by today's standards, but I loved the character's expressions and emotions especially during comedic moments.  

Made an account a couple days ago and have been scoping out the place, so maybe I should finally post an introduction. I was very much into VK in college, something like a decade ago. I still listen to songs off and on again but lately I've been checking out all sorts of bands and feeling nostalgic so here I am. It just makes me really happy that some of my old loves are still around/have returned like Psycho le Cemu, cali≠gari, and Plastic Tree.
 
Aside from from that, my great loves are dogs, anime, and books. I work at a public library and read all the baking books and graphic novels I can get my hands on. I love planning crafts for programs and the teen anime club which I co-host. Really, I just like making anything so cosplaying is another hobby that suits me perfectly. Current favorite book is Annihilation and my favorite movie is From Dusk Till Dawn.

And a quick question while I'm here! What's the stance on necro'ing threads? I saw the, "don't necro old threads unless you are providing new, updated information" line in the rules. Is there a limit to how many threads I can respond to in rapid succession because I'm that overly talkative type as you can tell from this introduction?

Oh boy, so many. Current season my favorites are Yakusoku no Neverland, Tate no Yuusha no Narigari, Kaguya-sama, Dororo, and Atama no Ue. Favorites ever? Utena, Mononoke (series), Uchuu Kyoudai, Kagurahime, Hunter x Hunter, and Natsume Yuujinchou. How about you?
I didn't even know there was a term for cali≠gari, how lovely!
I especially like big dogs with their silly giant heads. But all pups are good!
