The previews sound pretty solid. I'm still kind of hesitant on whether I want to go into this wild purchasing spree just to have all the content again though. Depends on how convincing the material will be I guess. 

I don't feel like kpop fans are any worse than jpop/jrock/visual kei fans as far as this goes. They're more or less equal in my experience.

The worst type of close minded fans in my experience are the ones who only listen to music from a certain country or continent. More often than not these are people who only listens to asian music.

@peffy I totally agree with you as well I mean  if a bands singles all sound similar people don't enjoy it and if they like to try new things people don't enjoy it. Just do what your band wants to do and make yourselves happy. It is your project anyway. I loved everything they did BTW

- The Last Jedi is one of if not the best Star Wars films and most of the hate it gets is because people are too dumb to understand it and don’t get complex literary themes nor read any books outside the YA genre on a regular basis, if they even read at all

- Recently there’s this trend that every series or every fan work of any series need to depict ideal relationships or it’s abusive, have xx representation for every kind of person under the sun, only allow white men to die or it’s automatically racist or sexist, and god forbid anyone make any nsfw content of it that isn’t the most boring sex you’ve ever seen/read or the keyboard warriors will come after it/them
 
- On that note most SJWs are fake wokes who think policing, dragging, or canceling other people with good intentions online is more productive than donating or volunteering to assist the issues or causes they’re supposedly fighting for (Hint: it’s not)

"Follow your heart" is some of the stupidest advice ever. People's hearts are full of all manner of sick, twisted inventions, and most of us decieve ourselves daily as to the contents thereof.
 
"Do whatever makes you happy". Also bullshit advice. Ask your local crackhead or alcoholic how that's working out for them. We're living in hell. Chasing happiness in hell doesn't seem like a good strategy. The fact that everyones chasing happiness is evidence enough, as it clearly shows you that happiness must not be the default state of this world if everyone is chasing after happiness to destract themselves from the fact that they're living in hell. 
 
We're living in a time where 60 years ago, there was no such thing as "organic" food. Why? Cuz all the food was organic back then. We're also living in a time where muhfuckaz is seriously debating if there are more than 2 genders, the family unit is being obliterated, the poor are still being shat on, everyone is depressed & anxious, and muhfuckaz  are becoming more divisive by the minute...you'd truly HAVE to believe that we evolved from some damn monkeys to think this world has progressed anywhere.  Anywhere good at least.

Nightmare in general is very despised overall, even though they are much more capable, consistent and proven than most VK groups and quite a few regular Jrock bands. Being very popular (at least a few years back) but not being absolutely excellent also makes them an easy target. I am also quite sure that during the late 2000's when VK was more popular they were seen as a "band noobs like" because their music was a geatway into VK for many people due to anime. Most of the older VK fans at the time started to be actively dismissive in Nightmare topics because they associated the band with ignorance about the scene. The trend has persisted as the band's output has been much less consistant but it still existed in 2008, 2009 when their music was more solid and cohesive.
 
There are also people who just don't like the band or Yomi's vocals. 
 
Also keep in mind that negative reactions are much more motivating than positive ones and people are much more inclined to show opposition than interest, specially on the internet. This creates a climate that does not encourage constructive talk about the band because bad impressions pile up so much that people who may want to say other kind of thigs feel out of place.
 
Happens in every communty in every place on the internet; everything is, to a degree,  a sort of echo chamber of negative feedback.
 
TL;DR - Some peole think Nightmare was too popular for how good they are. Also, it's the internet.

You have to take muscle mass and any kind of self defense skills they might have into consideration. I mean, unless you're a much bigger guy, I don't think Kyo would be easy to fight. And even Yomi from Nightmare had an era where he looked fit af.

I've seen the Malice Mizer ones, Onegai versailles (I think that's what it was called), Oresama (I own that shit on dvd. don't judge me I was like 15), Moon Child, and a few others I can't recall too well. My favorite is Golden Bomber's "Sorinokoshita Summer" simply because it knows it's a badly-acted cheesy movie and doesn't take itself seriously.

I probably wouldn't have much chances against him but I'd want to fight Nazare's Issei. He has such an annoying face, I'd gladly throw a couple of angry punches at him.
I don't think there's anyone I could actually win against though, I'm about as strong as an overcooked noodle.

I've tried several times to get into DIMLIM, it's not happening. Their songs are all over the place imo and they just end up sounding like noise to me. 
Kizu on the other hand are very well put together. Their songs are either really energetic or have just the right amount of emotion driving them. I have like maybe one Kizu song I don't care for. So it's easily going to be Kizu for me. 

Can't say I know of any productions that were specifically made for VK, but as referencing goes, I can think of a few animations that have brought in VK characters or small references. (Just about everything I know in films has already been mentioned)
 
-The manga Skip Beat (follows show business) has a character named Reino who's in a visual kei band. 
-The anime Sket Dance has a visual kei character named Dante. He's voiced by Gackt (lol). 
-And I remember a friend of mine once showed me some Naruto mini where one of the characters was imagining the worst possible boyfriend scenario a girl could have and it was a visual kei dude (lol again).  
Needless to say, most of the portrayals are actually kind of negative.  The character Gackt voices is stereotypical but also pretty comical, so that one isn't too bad.
Also I think a few anime and video game characters have been modeled after Kiyoharu, but I don't know any specific names. 
 
Also not VK related, but I remember Kyan Yutaka was in a movie a few years ago. I think he's trying to make it as an actor. And if we count Onegai Versailles, then Golden Bomber also made their own movie a long time ago called Sorinokoshita Natsu. It was special, to put it nicely.
