My question over Kizu's resources origins has to do also with members past activities. None of them have a past of involvement in, at least, 'famous' projects. For example, Versailles, like Kizu, started out with what one can consider great amount of resources, and one can easily reconduct that fact to Kamijo being the ex-vocalist and overall composer and producer of an act that played a key part in the late 90s scene (I'm talking about Lareine). But that's not the case of Kizu; sure Lime was part of many bands like Lezard (was that the name?), but I think we can all agree that none of these bands was as successful or relevant as Kizu got since their first single. Maybe they actually have worked in projects that hadn't this need of high media exposure but nonetheless made a name and/or great sums of money (maybe like being sessionists, and/or producers, and/oror composers, etc.)?

Hi all. I was looking for "Black file" Xibalba album and I came here.
I am mourning Morrigan too, but Aryu san just opened his first Twitter account a couple of days ago, he is performing with Nihit in Russia and said there is a chance band to be resurrected.
 
It's pretty brave of him to play out of Japan, artists with years of experience like Hyde hardly play somewhere else than Asia and USA for years, and Russia is a big deal.
What I noticed was that he is keep posting old stuff, he surely miss the good old days. I have no idea what happened to make them split, but Aryu still have picture of him and Setsuna on his laptop, and at 28th he uploaded photo of their last concert.
Which makes me think... Where is Kuloe? Not a sign from him. Pitty willingly left, but Kuloe was in the band till the end. He was the one who always made them laugh and stuff, they were friends since childhood... At least I want to be sure all of them are healthy and doing fine.
 
I can't call Morrigan the most popular band of Japan, but for me their music have personal meaning. Even now I am doing artwork, street art, uploading their old stuff, created fan page and etc... I really hope "we will see them again one day", as the nameless song from XISS says. They are too young and tallented to quit now.

For me it would be Royz and Mejibray. I listened to them and was not impressed and I think I read something about a Royz member that turned me off from them but can't remember what.
 
 
Yeah A9 fell off after they started to shed their visual kei image. I think they're independent again which was kinda encouraging since becoming major somehow made them become so bland. Haven't listened to any of their recent stuff lately but might check out their best of album.

Their new single 「花鳥風月」(kachoufuugetsu)  will be released on 2019.11.13.

I am a outside-japan-fan, who is definitely liking their stuff so far, although very limited music is accesible of them. I have no chance to really get to know their music since so much is live-exclusive. I hate this about japanese bands. I see the attraction of it as being ‚exclusive‘ or ‚rare-item‘, I mean at the end of the day it might be to the fans as collecting items, just like stamps. To a certain extent, it is okay and it is part of the VK-culture.  But the bands that hold on to that method to extreme extent just suck. Their paranoia of losing money through accessible distribution is not legitimized, because that way less people get to know them / stumble across their music, etc. And with that, a percentage that would be willing to pay for their music, go to their concerts, etc. (here, you earn money through the quantity!) Of course you can probably live off having a smaller, but ‚loyal‘ fanbase that keeps on buying your stuff because of the ‚exclusive‘ illusion you create, giving that sort of underground feel. It‘s cool for everyone who is around.
But for all the others, it feels like you‘re not invited to the party and your crush gives a shit about you. 
I‘m all for digital and international releases. If you stan, you will pay. But bands - such as this lovely one - just cut you off

I've tried several times to get into DIMLIM, it's not happening. Their songs are all over the place imo and they just end up sounding like noise to me. 
Kizu on the other hand are very well put together. Their songs are either really energetic or have just the right amount of emotion driving them. I have like maybe one Kizu song I don't care for. So it's easily going to be Kizu for me.
