Funny fact: Ryo Matsuyama (Klan Aileen) just married some weeks ago and even if he's the husband, he wanted to pick his wife's name (澁谷 = Shibuya) because he thought that was cooler and the name contains more strokes in kanji. Easy way to think haha

Do you know some couples that're members in Japanese bands? I was thinking that I know some in international bands but not a single one in Japan

There it is, May 11. It's the 7th anniversary of Psysalia Psysalis Psyche's separation. It's THE sad day of the year for me

WOW I just buy the double LP (transparent vinyl) of D.A.N.'s Sonatine album. That's 47€ but I have nice music

The fin. lose their bassist last year and they just lost their guitarist last month. Well, in 2020, it's going to be a solo project

I just realized but I think it's a bit sad that nobody's talking about the old japanese music (not only in MH of course). When I'm saying old music, I think of the second part of 20th century. From the group sounds bands in the 60's to the cold gothic rock scene in the 80's (that eventually lead in visual kei), passing by the psychedelic progressive scene of the 70's (Jacks in mind).
Are there people here who are interested in stuff like that?

I think a lot of people would be interested if there was enough to be interested in!
This is a problem you will see even in 90s visual kei and its because these eras and periods were before the internet started. The only information and music available is from those people who were willing to put the time and energy in to make them available, legally or not. Think about it: it's hard to be interested in Japanese surf rock from the 60s if there aren't any bands to sample or people to ask.
I think the best way to fix this is to go ahead and use MH as a platform to advertise these older bands. There aren't many other established places to go, so here is as good as anywhere IMO. And don't be discouraged if you don't get a lot of replies initially because we have a lot of lurkers. But eyes and ears are more important than words and if you stick to it long enough, you might create a few new fans out of us.-

Psysalia Psysalis Psyche's lifespan : 2005->2012 : 7 years
Dissolution to now : 2012->2019 : 7 years
It will not be a coincidence if they reform in 2019.
I'm pretty smart when it's for finding stats about a possible reformation of PPP.

We can only hope. ;<

Psysalia Psysalis Psyche's fans, here's a cool info : Yesterday (in Japan, so today), PPP (or at least, Shion, Toru & Nobu. Certainly Kousuke too) played a gig at a friend of their's wedding. (It gives hope on a reformation!)

There is too much release in one day ! Four albums that I waited will be release on May 23 !
-
I have a band. Our first album was a classic shoegaze/post-rock/space-rock/post-punk album of 13 tracks.
Now i'm doing psychedelic songs that are almost 40 minutes long. What turned bad ?! xD-
What about some generic deathcore

The net label ano(t)tracks release a new compilation with lots of indie bands, it's reassuring to see all these musical hopes.

Toru Matsumoto from Psysalia Psysalis Psyche did just released a new song called NISEKO.
Sadly, it's still one of those experimental songs he's used to.
I'm still happy to know that he still releases some songs. Looking forward to see if he will release something with his band MIUMARZ (who's a bit more like PPP)

To fans of Psysalia Psysalis Psyche,
On Instagram, we can see that a picnic was organized. There Shion, Toru and even Nobu (who had disappeared from internet for a long time). It's cool to see they're still pals (and maybe they talk about the comeback of PPP ahah.

Nostalgic about Lillies and Remains
It's like 4 or 5 years that they don't release anything
Romanticism was very very good

I'm actually obsess by post-punk.
At the moment, with bands like SEKAITEKINABAND or WBSBFK, the Japanese post-punk scene is getting really good! -
My greatest wish is the reformation of Psysalia Psysalis Psyche !
