This time, an interview with rock band COOKAI members Cathy and Rachel!
The vocalist was sadly too busy to answer the questions.
Cookai is a similar band to ex-Calmando Qual Hibiki (now SARRMATH) ROCK band THE HIGH GRIP

Everything is via e-mail or DM.
So bands get a digital document file with our questions included which they can answer whenever they want.

This time, I like to introduce you to BELLMONDO,
They are a bandholic bassless trio band. Their sound is reminiscent of alternative/post-punk/post-shoe gazers. Mainly active in Tokyo area.
I also saw this band live in Tokyo once and I really enjoyed it ^^

"Dude, my dads cover band is breaking up."
Well.. not everybody check's it here 😛
But who knows the disbandment will mean a new start as a REAL band.
ghostpepper reacted to this -
Also the band was just a session band 😅
Also that's also no wonder... such bands appear and disappear...

Also, I didn't realize NeiN were so nu-metal-y? I thought the singles I heard from them in the past were lighter, but I could be misremembering them with the other band Shun is in (Quiet Rain?).
mm... well I think this album is more heavy than their previous works.. but also.. nobody really shared NEiN's music here...
But yes you might misremember them with, Quiet Rain, since Quiet Rain is way lighter than NEiN is.
But I think Quiet Rain is disband in silent.

This week, instead of an interview we caught up with NEiN and got comments from each member about the songs on their first full album!
Please check it out and buy the album, if you’re so inclined

It actually feels a bit as an interview (^_^)/
For sure to check it out, and let us know, if we should ask more bands for such liner-notes ^^

Thank you!
all 3 are really nice dudes.
Also the drummer (Shin-chan) he is also the drummer of THE MINKS
hope he stays healthy....
hope they still all healthy.
I became a friend of them because of THE VACK'S. and THE VACK'S I know thanks to THE HIGH GRIP (Calmando Qual) lol
MMS
I'm glad to know them
I'm really happy.
So,
everyone,
check them out.
their music is easy to like... such rock music is easy to like. it's good, its enjoying rock music, will stay good forever. doesn't matter what age you are, you will enjoy it your whole life once you like it.
And,,,
older people who still play with such spirit you should check out anyway.
if we can go to Tokyo again
be sure to visit a gig of them also if your schedule will allow it.
There will be always someone willing to talk to you. (don't worry about that)
Whenever your japanese is bad or not, they happy to meet you. They show you 1000x more "gratitude" than any visual kei band would show to you.

MMS plays Simple and speedy ROCK’N’ROLL! They are a minimal unit who are sticking to the style of a three-piece, rockabilly, R&B, R&R, and PUNK together with their own sense of originality. MMS are offering amazing live performances. Also all members can use their voice as an instrument. All members are showing their skills in writing lyrics, composing songs etc. MMS shows an unique three piece style which gives a totally different expression than most R’N’R bands. The members ride motorcycles in their normal life, so they live their lifestyle as cool bikers. Because of that some of their songs are of course related to motorcycles and touring around!
Be sure to read the interview to learn more about this amazing rocking band!
Never give up your dreams, whatever age you have, keep on rocking!

It depends on with which program you rip your CD's too.
older 128kbps rips sounds also much more worse than if you rip the same CD now in 128kbps.Unless your hearing is very good (still hearing low and high tones very well) you can tell the difference better between a 128kbps rip and a lossless rip. I you have hear-loss whenever you listen to 128 or 320kbps some tones are filtered out for you anyway and there is no way that you can hear them 😛
I save anything as 320kbps on my pc. lossless why need them? if you transfer them into good quality 320kbps you cannot tell the difference that good..
The only thing which I notice if I play 128kbps, 192kbps, 320kbps(lossless) is if you put your speaker Louder and louder, that you will notice quality loss. however if you don't blast off your hears and play it at a normal good for ears frequent (which doesn't destroy your ears) you can't really notice it anymore. unless the rips are made 10-20 years ago.
I'm happy with 192kbps rips, and more happy with 320kbps.
back in the days I tried to make a lower bitrate than 128kbps couldn't really tell the difference.
Also I don't really hear the quality loss of youtube videos. at least it doesn't bother me.
But i think it's funny that nowadays people wish for 320kbps, while in the past everybody was happy with 128kbps. Nobody really did know or care about bitrates until you found this forum tho 😛
LJ time wasn't really 320kbps time XD

Well ghost writing should happen a lot, since so many bands sound the same, as if one person would write all the songs.
But, we all know that most of bandman are bandman because they want attention... and woman love to pay for getting love. ( *・ω・)ノ
Even if you get hurt afterwards anyway.

It was a hell long interview to translate,
I enjoyed it....learned more about them.
A real nice people band, their answers were fun to read,
but their music isn't my cup of tea, don't blame me for that.
But if you love female vocal, if you like melo-kei this band is something for you.
