So I saw them at London last night and I went there not knowing what to expect as I had only listened to TIW and a handful of songs spanning anywhere from their early eras to more recent, and I must say it was the best live I’ve ever been to!
 
Highlights for me we’re opening up with Zetsuentai and also the power behind Kyo’s vocals during Ranunculus, he doesn’t perform it using clean vocals like it is in the studio version, instead he opted to sing it with powerful harsh vocals that really give the song some oomph and gives it an edge over the studio version! Values of Madness was also surprisingly well pulled off, I find the studio version to feel...somewhat empty? But live that song hits hard! I feel bad as I wasn’t able to appreciate the older material like Merciless Cult and Kodou as I hadn’t heard them prior, however I still enjoyed them nevertheless and found them to be great, energy filled songs! 10/10 would see them again and now I need to buy their whole discography! 
 
And a big shoutout to @nullmoon I had such a good laugh and some great conversation! And he also filled me in on the songs that I didn’t know of! 😂

I met Game Grumps today, and asked Arin to sign the picture of Gackt in the Merveilles booklet since he said he wanted Gackt to fuck him in the ass.
 
Here's some notable things:
- Arin remembers saying he wants Gackt to fuck him in the ass
 
- Arin enthusiastically took the booklet and signed the picture of Gackt whilst saying aggressively "Damn right I'd let Gackt fuck me"
 
-Arin exclaimed how beautiful he finds Gackt upon Dan saying so himself
 
-Arin knows of Malice Mizer 
 
-Upon asking Danny to sign whoever he found most beautiful, he chose Mana, despite struggling to pick.

Ah cool, I'm going too so maybe see you there! To be fair it's a TIW tour so they're pretty much playing the entire album plus one or two other tracks according to recent setlists. I'd listen to their latest single The World Of Mercy if you haven't already. That's if you're just looking to recognise everything they're playing
 
If you wanted some listening pointers regardless of the upcoming gig, I'd listen to Uroboros (their best 'new' album) and Dum Spiro Spero (not the best but it's like the more technical yin to TIW's simple, explosive yang). This is just a starting point but feel free to DM me

I’m going to the London show next week can anyone recommend what I should listen to before going? I’ve listened to TIW and a few songs like Phenomenon, Vinushka and Saku. From what I’ve heard I like so that’s why I’m going

The promoter for the São Paulo made a fb post saying half the tickets have sold which I’m genuinely shocked by! They called DIMLIM a VK band and I bet Retsu is screaming

After listening to the previews, I’m not so worried about this album being a flop. ‘Do’ was my favourite track from Kidoairaku and I do like that these tracks follow a similar formula. However like I said earlier I wish there was still a hint of heaviness spread out here and there. Lament is probs gonna be my favourite track I can feel it, I don’t feel like ‘What’s up?’ should’ve been the song that got an MV
