I just want to come in here and come out with the truth. You were right. I am the same person. All of them are me. A lonely little loser girl in college.
 
I just want to say that I am truly sorry for every shitty thing I've done, and this will probably be my last post. I'm sorry for all the lies, I'm sorry for all the things I've said, I'm sorry for what I have done. I thank the mods for giving me a wake-up call and making me see the lying attention-seeking shitstain I have been.
 
When I started out here, in late 2016, I was feeling awful mentally. I was lonely, I was feeling worthless. So I decided to do stupid things on here and other sites that I have long since left (like Reddit) for the sake of attention. I stumbled across this forum because I genuinely do like VK and I was looking around for news about some bands. I found out what got the most attention on here, and it just so happened to be something I liked at the time, and I decided to spam it. Even after I stopped liking it as much as I used to around late 2017, I kept it up because it gave me attention. It was only recently I started to feel better, and I started to see what I had done. I made several accounts to start "drama", I made more of them to avoid consequences, I made them to give myself validation. I was going to stop after my other 3 quite frankly stupid posts and leave. I tried to lie to get away without consequences. But it wasn't until the mods came and told me off that I truly came to my senses. I was a dirty liar, I was annoying, and I was a fucking idiot. I feel terrible about the things I've done here, and I wish I could turn back time and prevent it from happening.
 
This all sounds really cliché, but I really did feel horrible mentally, and I did awful things because of it. It didn't help that I was very lonely and I was feeling worthless either. I sought attention and validation, and I would get it, even if it was bad attention. I did that instead of seeking help.
 
In short, I was a lying attention-seeking idiot who just wanted reactions from people instead of seeking help. And I want to apologize for that.
 
You don't have to forgive me, and you can hate me and make fun of me all you want once I leave. Insult me, troll me, be condescending, spam my PMs, doubt me, be disrespectful, nitpick, harass me, anything. I deserve it. I have been a shitty person, and a dirty liar too, and I regret all of it. I'm going to try and better myself and start over, but I deserve every bad thing that happens to me after this.
 
Please never talk about this ever again. Try to forget about me. I don't want to be reminded about any of it.

I didn't ike Seremedy but I heard DISREIGN and didn't even realize it was him. I like their stuff a lot. I completely understand why people don't like him/his bands tho.

The idea of banning discussion about an artist is a very slippery slope.

If the moderation team invokes a rule stating that an artist cannot be discussed here because we "don't care", that doesn't stop us from clamping down on discussion about any bands we don't really like. I'll be honest in that I don't care for YOHIO, but just because I do not doesn't mean someone else doesn't and they should be free to talk about visual kei in all its forms here, even white-washed kei. I also don't want to institute a rule banning all discussion of western visual kei, since that gets into a sticky discussion about what is visual kei and what isn't. Very few of us here are qualified to even begin that debate and I don't think the result would be very fruitful - just less discussion overall.
 
Also, YOHIO topics tend to be some of the most interesting on the forum since that's where everyone brings out their Sunday best jokes and memes.

I would be okay in instituting a rule restricting all YOHIO/western visual kei discussion to Global Music General Discussion.

Ten years ago today, Spike760 and myself decided that we wanted to start a Japanese Rock forum. After a while of debating, we eventually settled on Tainted World (after the D’espairsRay song of the same name). Frankly, neither one of expected it to last all that long; this would hardly be the first forum that we had run together that didn’t go anywhere. But what started as a fun little project somehow blossomed into an amazing community. The fact that this site still exists after all this time has little to say about Spike and my’s original plan and everything to say about the members here. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping build this site into what it is today.
 
While I was one of the key founders of this site, Monochrome Heaven is so much bigger than just me. That became clear to me when we went under the transition from Tainted World to our current name back in 2011. While to really understand why this is so important requires more context, I don’t want to go into a full on history lesson. But since that point, so many members have stepped up and dedicated themselves to this site, putting in the time and effort (and money) into making Monochrome Heaven as great as it possibly can be.
 
To every member that has joined and felt like they were apart of a community over this silly niche interest we all have, I raise a glass to you. You all are what have made this place special. And to every staff member, current and past, no words can express my thanks to you - you are people that I have come to admire and consider good friends.
 
But this post isn’t about me, but about the Monochrome Heaven! I want to hear from all of you as to why this community is special, why you’ve becoming coming back for 10 months or 10 years. Or tell us one of your favorite moments from your time coming, whether that was a release you were looking for forever or a stupid meme that took over the forum.

I've only seen you posting about derivative weaboo chanteuse, so if you really don't care about other artists this board is mostly focused on, there're likely better places to find yohoe fans. tumblr, last.fm, facebook, whatever else works for you.

As some other users have said, you haven't done anything truly wrong, so there's no need to deprive yourself of a nice community just because a few idiots made fun of you. 
Ignore the nasty comments that don't comprise any form of constructive criticizm and enjoy the music you like, you might even find people you like lurking around too  
I've had the chance to meet some really cool people and you could too! It's normal to fear being shamed again, but you honestly did nothing to be ashamed of. You can take a break from here if you want and maybe later you can come and give this place another chance.

No one cares if you like YOHIO and you aren't annoying anyone. Everyone's been stupid and said some dumb stuff on here, even me. Just come back already.
