Does there exist a live recording of Ankoku Sekai wa Yami? I think that GossiP has their version on one of their live DVDs, but I don't think a proper live recording has been made of the main song with GossiP, Kuroyuri and Grieva

I want to make a post in the disabilities thread, but I'm like 90%sure my last response there was attention whoring at worst, and at best, me just being misinformed about what's actually wrong with me and I'm too afraid to look lol. Recently, I've been able to actually get diagnosed with wtf is wrong with me, and we haven't found out everything yet, not nearly, but we already know I'm bad enough to where I couldn't work a job. 

Can we appreciate Kyounosuke Yoshitate? I never see anyone talk about him. I want to be able to sing like him, although it's probably not physically possible for me lol

Well this isn't something I'd expect from Vietnam. A full produced music video for a Hat Van song (Hat Van is traditional poetry set to music to accompany Shamanism). Even if it is pretty condensed (traditionally, Hat Van songs go on for hours.) it's pretty cool to see something more authentic than that cheap sounding pop music they play during new years lol. I think this is a cool way to preserve traditional arts and I love the work that went into this.

IDK if anyone has talked about this yet, but Gulu Gulu uploaded a preview of one of their unreleased songs (played live). I can already see myself singing along to this nonstop lol

Does anyone else like to just take songs that are rerecordings of eachother, and try to mix them together in Audacity?
I find that I've been doing that a lot lately lol.

So apparently, Ai from Gulu Gulu's first band, Rose Valley, had songs available to listen to on their old website. Only problem is, those links don't work anymore. If I ever meet Ai (or Ritsu from Smileberry, who was also in the band), I'm definitely asking him about it lol

So I've really been sleeping on Jigsaw but holy fuck they're like the perfect mix of old school and modern Vkei. 

I just saw a bunch of Viets on twitter attack some country singer for wearing the Ao Dai... and holy fuck these people know nothing about Vietnamese culture. They're going on about how someone shouldn't sexualise the Ao Dai, but like, the Ao Dai is already sexualised, and has been since the 1930's. They're all made to accentuate the breasts and butt.

As well, these people were pulling up images of extremely modernised Viet clothing, and saying it's the "real traditions". I swear sometimes I feel like I'm the only Viet nowadays who actually cared to research about our traditions, especially of those that date before Chinese and French rule, instead of blindly thinking the literal historical equivalent of a suit-and-tie is somehow a thousand year old tradition.

We have French, German and British themed Kote Kei bands... but we don't have a Russian one? I mean, we have Vkei bands that have taken Soviet themes, but it'd be cool to see a Vkei band take a proper Russian aesthetic.

I randomly came across this weird but cool video of these Russian folk musicians playing Du Hast by Rammstein on traditional instruments. Also featuring a Duduk player who I'm assuming is Armenian, since that's where the instrument comes from

I wish there were more PVs out there that looked like the ones Dir en Grey did for Gauze camera-and-lighting-wise. I wonder what they filmed them with. I probably could never afford that type of camera, but it would still be cool to know.
