Anyone remember the joke of a band that was Heaven's Dust? The non-Vkei band with a guitarist who looks Vkei, and had Kurona (though he was replaced by KAI Shine) and Daisuke from Wagakki Band and CrowXClass?
Yeah... this song is still shit.

And they did a cover of Lil Wayne..... Really? They speak good english so they should realise how TRASH Lil Wayne is, but Shin is kinda an edgelord. It doesn't even use any Traditional Japanese instruments like they're normally KNOWN for until the end, and it's like 5 seconds. Gosh (I originally posted their cover of David Bowie, but that implies that Shin, the leader, is not trash)

I knew them from CrowXClass, since Kurona and Daisuke were in it, like I mentioned. The Traditional/Neo-Traditional Japanese Music scene is very closely knit, and it's not uncommon to find many musicians going into the same bands.
For example, Daisuke Kaminaga was also in a band called Ka=os, and Masaki Nakamura, the real name of Mikage from CrowXClass, has worked on the soundtrack for Kantai Collection. Kurona's brother provided the Taiko for the Naruto Shippuden Soundtrack.
Though the only REAL Vkei band in all of this is CrowXClass. They're associated with a few other Vkei bands out there, such as Vampire Rose, and SataN. Though, the only one of those two still relevant is Vampire Rose lol.
There is also the band AKARA, which is sorta-Vkei? They're also associated in all of this, and they sorta look Vkei. Not only that, but their support drummer is actually Hayate ex. GossiP.
Hayate himself is a pretty interesting character. His real name is Tetsurou, he actually is a professor at a music university, and teaches Vkei drummers. He often plays support for Vkei bands too (DEZERT being one of the bands he played for). GossiP was kind of an interesting project for him though, since he went under a different name, and appeared in PVs and acted like a regular member, and was pretty integral to the songwriting process. I guess GossiP was kind of a passion project for him.
Here is his Twitter: https://twitter.com/tetsuro_drums
http://profile.ameba.jp/tetsuro-drum/ And his Ameblo. All of GossiP's stuff until their best album (which was when he left) is on there
