When Misaruka were brand new I thought they were going to progress and grow and actually go somewhere, but naw, they just kinda stayed put and their style never progressed at all really. Anyone else think that's a problem that a whole bunch of Starwave/Darkest Labyrinth's artists are plagued with? I at least tend to notice it with their bands specifically, more than a lot of other J-rock labels, not sure what's up with that, if they just aren't great at finding true talents or if the label forces these bands in a certain musical direction or if it's the bands themselves incapable of taking it to the next level. (I'm not saying all their bands have this problem, but like a horribly vast majority.)
Either way it's a lowbrow move basically threatening to call it quits if your show doesn't sell out.
Exactly. You could also say a legitimately talented band wouldn't run into this issue in the first place because they'll offer a product that people are actually paying to come see more than once. They're shooting themselves in the foot big time, when they didn't have a ton going in the first place, sadly.

I scanned the lyrics and put them on my Tumblr. I scanned them at 300 dpi so you can see things that are normally too small to read, like the ruby for 音楽／アナタ in La Musique. (will edit that now)
Better than Versailles 2012, better produced than Heart, and has a Noble-similar style, as the songs are more dense and with no Lareine influences this time.
I was afraid of the quality of production and mixing, as you can notice a terrible lack of quality in the last compilations, even in Heart. It was like Kamijo mixed the songs fast, at home, not caring that much about the quality as much as Hizaki has done in Jupiter and Rosario. M10M followed the same path of and I'm glad it wasn't the case of Lineage.
I liked this EP. Marionette is my favourite track, and I hope a fullenght with more epic songs.
I used to be in a band a little bit ago and our lead guitarist has massive anxiety issues. It took him awhile to be ready to come back on stage but I understand how hard this is. I hope she is able to overcome it and be able to come back!
And as I suspected, it seems like the regular edition will be sold for 2,500 yen in stores. I guess Marionette will be rarez.

Ex-LAREINE members MAYU and EMIRU are collaborating with Azusa Kobayashi on her new mini-album "Blue".
MAYU composed and plays guitar on all songs. EMIRU plays bass and also works as recording engineer, manipulator and arranger.
The album also features covers of LAREINE's "Darkness" and "Sakura" (both music and lyrics by MAYU).
It looks like EMIRU is closely working with MAYU on his new recording studio METAMORPHOSE.
MAYU will also play guitar on Azusa's oneman live on January 29th as a guest. The album will be sold in advance there.

Btw while being an (almost 40 year old) idol, Azusa usually collaborates with visual kei artists. Her backing band included Naoki (Kaggra), Kyoki (Secilia Luna), Setsuna (Metis Gretel), Mataro (from kozi's solo band) and others.

Doesn't really surprise me. If they really had only 187 people at their oneman after 9 years of work, they probably felt the effort wasn't worth it at all and that eventually leads you to think you could have better luck with a different approach. Never liked them to much but hope everything goes better on whatever they decide to do now.
