the russian comments werent racist, russian isn't a race. russia as a country however, is known for having prominent anti-gay policy--that isn't opinion, its fact, you can look it up. im not here to talk politics, but know that those comments had nothing to do with racism and more to do with someone's cultural alignment influencing prejudicial beliefs.

When you simply try to help someone, and they end up flipping out on you - not once, but twice -, then that's their fault. This person has done this countless times when others have called them out like this, and yes, it's resorted to unnecessary conflict. But in the end, this person planted herself for failure, and if there's still anyone defending her - like you -, then you're wasting your time, hunty. You haven't even been here very long to actually know every single thing this person has done.

DW has been a problematic user here for AGES. You've only been here for less than a year. She's been a hypocritical racist and misogynistic pos, not to mention a spammer and someone who liked to take advantage of the forum's users to promote her countless blogs.
 
Just yesterday she posted about being dyslexic, which may compromise her learning capabilities. But that doesn't stop her from laughing at anyone's English here - hell, just this week she posted a status update simply to shame a bandomen for his mistake.
 
The people who were ~bullying poor DW are not the issue here, SHE WAS. And many, many of us agree. And yes, I feel fantastic about myself, at least when it comes to calling out people for their offensive bullshit in a space I like and have been a part of for over ten years.
 

'bullying' on MH isn't even real bullying y'all don't even know what its like outside of our weeaboo commune (to lovingly quote my son pretz). saying someone's band is shit or to stop being a drama queen isnt bullying.
also you wont know whats bullying or not bullying until you know the situation. some of of the people on here who'd otherwise be targets of 'bullying' (assuming MH is full of evil trolls) are left alone because they do nothing to bother others. no one is actively picked on because they're defenseless or weird, they get picked on because they're idiots for whatever reason and sit here provoking others.

I think we just helped make MH a nicer place today, if I'm being honest. Try agreeing with this!

To add to what has already been said, I've heard gyas are piranhas when it comes to buying tickets, especially because of the lottery system, they buy multiple tickets to try to get a smaller entry number. A male-only live gives the guys the chance to actually get a ticket lol

During men-only lives and women-only lives the set list is different, in women only the band will play soft and ballad songs while in men only they will play heavier and wilder songs like saishuu said.
Before the audience enters  in the concert hall the staff check the ID and do sometimes body searches for be sure will be have only man if it's a men only concert or only women.
As reminiscing2004 mentionned if some bands do men only concert encourage more guys to comeout and feel less shy to attend at their and I think for some bands who do brootal and heavy songs sometimes they can feel tired to  play in front of a 90% female audience

I've never heard of a women-only live, but I kind of (think I) get the main concept of men-only. So maybe, you can apply that reasoning to the women-only situations, but reverse the genders.
 
Basically, my understanding is that men-only gigs are mostly like a friendly gesture toward's a bands male fans when the band's fans are predominantly female. So, if most of their shows are like >80% female turnout, a oneoff men-only show might encourage more guys to comeout.

I've heard some artists with a regular male fanbase like to have this kind of gender-exclusive concert just to experience a different vibe, as the male-only ones tend to be"wilder". And also to cater to those fans and have more of them come to their shows, of course, but don't quote me on any of that though.

Also reason I mention 'friendly gesture' is because its not really a financially motivated decision, because you're deliberately catering to your minority audience.
