Oh yes Proxyon! I saw them live last year and tried to look for their releases since, but couldn't find them anywhere online. Lucky I found Monochrome Heaven (:

Reading through older posts... I'm surprised people rate IMAGE so high, I thought I was alone with loving that album. In general I greatly prefer older LS. After IMAGE they shifted to more mainstream stuff imo. Ryuichi's more raw voice and darker vibe were really cool back then.
Besides LUNA SEA(original album) and IMAGE i only really like SHINE which I think has this thick cohesive sound throughout the whole album that's sort of sad and melancholic.

Hey cool, they're coming to Finland again! (: I'm really liking DOGMA stuff, so I'll be there!

Oh yea, you're right. On a first glance I thought i saw more DSS material, that would've been the most surprising, but now I see there's only few songs...
I'm glad I see Yokan there. It's become one of my favourite songs of theirs recently, after over decade of listening it : D

I'm surprised how well post-tMoaB material is present here. I'd imagine VK scenes appreciating earlier stuff more.

I wonder if MiA is supposed to be sort of opposite to Tsuzuku?
-
I agree that MiA is the coolest guitarist VK has atm with his material alone already. His solos are the thing that got me into Mejibray in the first place. But compared to his band mates, he got the smallest presence. He just sort of is there in every live and PV but doesn't stand out in any way.
Having said that, I wouldn't want any other guitarist in mejibray in a million years. Koichi and Tsuzuku already got more than enough presence for one band and dunno if it would become a power struggle of sorts if everyone was trying to steal the spotlight. MiA's got his own prince-thing going on and he let's his talent speak for himself

: D i'm liking meto's look!... And Koichi's... I've grown an unhealthy proportion fandom over Koichi for past few weeks.
Anyways these are great news, i was just wondering yesterday when these guys gonna release new material. I hope it's a little bit different from VENOMS.app. Not that there was anything especially wrong with VENOMS, but I feel like it was a bit too safe and getting stale imo.

It sounded pretty decent, but then vocals started i used to be really into this era music, but even then I wouldn't have liked the singer.

I got a newfound love for these guys, so I'm really glad with this busy release schedule : ) Dogma and Ugly have been awesome

Are they somehow related to crimson shiva?

Thanks for the recommendations, I'm liking this place already!
Plastic Tree was very different from what I remembered. A bit slower music than what I usually listen to but it gave a nice tranquil feeling... or maybe it was the alcohol that did that?
DADAROMA I had heard before. I listened to their halloween song some time ago and it was pretty bad imo But luckily I gave them a new shot. They're cool. definitely need to listen some more.
MUCC is cool and all, but not my cup of tea

I think I gave Plastic Tree a try some time ago and passed them as "just another generic band", which happens all too often with me. I've missed some great bands in the past with that attitude. I'll listen to them some more!
and yea hide... He's probably my favourite among older artists. I got too big of a collection of his records ^^ I almost bought a replica of his guitar too some years ago, but was too poor back then...

Hi, i'm new here!
I don't really know much about this place but a nice person recommended this board to me so yeah. I like VK(yay) and I've been listening to various bands for manymany years. Classic bands like diru, gazette, X and hide have stayed on my playlists for a long while, but I mostly listen some newer bands these days. I really like Mejibray, Grieva and lately been listening to AvelCain to name few. I'm always interested in new stuff. So if you got any recommendations, I'll gladly accept them!
Apart from VK I listen some random metal/rock. Darlia and Living Dead Lights being my favourite at the moment.
I don't know what else to say here? Nice to meet you? ^^

I got my ticket for the Helsinki gig, yay! I believe last time the Gazette came here I was still able to get tickets like few weeks before the show, so I guess there're not so many diehardfans around Finland.
