0.1g no Gosan has announced that Dr.神崎流空 (Kanzaki Iria) will no longer be able to consume alcohol due to problems with his liver, so the band will no longer accept invitations to drinking parties and will be straight-edge going forward~

personally i think it's probably because they're finally doing an album after SO MANY singles so i'm not too surprised. i mean at least it isn't a best album with 10 previously released songs and a bonus track called "Thank you" lolol. i don't expect them to be Shonenki #2 but who knows ._.

The lives have still been super fun. But there have been no MCs or encores for the duration of this tour. I'm not super in the know or anything, but it feels like it's less about them being over Mejibray and more about some management issue behind the scenes. Anyone else getting that vibe?

it seems to me as if this was far from the outcome the band wanted.
 
as a promoter and agent myself, I belive it's a matter of responsibility.
the bands job is to perform the concerts, and it's the promoter job to well... promote (it's in the job title) and make sure tickets are sold.
 
it seems in the comment from B7 they blamed the lack of interest, and if that was the case they should have put more effort into creating more interest.
 

Unless it's illness or something, it really shows B7Klan's ineptitude that they can't gauge the interest and take precautions time after time if it was the ticket sales like it was with Merry. Among other big factors it's this sort of mismanagement and waste of contacts that killed it here in the west. I'm sure there were some people who had already booked their travel and shit too since we're so close to the dates of the shows. Fuck off b7

There was a relatively interesting article on e-aidem interviewing the chief manager of the Tokyo likea branch about why VK cd shops continue in an age where CD purchases are on the decline. It's not every day there's an actual article on VK as a whole and their conversation was more interesting than I expected so I wanted to translate it for anyone who might be interested.

I only included the pictures that helped in the understanding of what was being discussed and the only text here is the actual interview and not the blog-ish portions about the interviewer's visit, but you can see the full article here.

This. Also generally speaking almost every Mejibray encore wraps up with Messiah, so when that staple's gone the show feels oddly incomplete. I hope they don't do this for the entire duration of the tour, but it's starting to look like that's the way it's going down. Wouldn't be surprised if they kept it going until their Akasaka show at this point. I can't say for sure (obviously), but I get the feeling they're doing it to make a statement - they're not really giving the impression of being happy or relieved about this hiatus.

How to spot a VK noob (possibly outdated version):
 
- Says they have like 10 VK albums, but every one of them is a Chinese/Taiwanese bootleg.
- They claim to be "a fan" of a new VK indie band, but they live overseas and the band doesn't have any physical releases out yet.
- Buys polaroids and posters of bands they don't even listen to.
- Constantly points how this/that/everything could be VK or lolita style whenever they go shopping.
- Talks about how Asian/Japanese guys are hotter than Western guys or assumes the majority of Japanese people are as "hot" as VK guys.
- Their favorite VK songs (and possibly the only ones they know) are all anime themes.
- Confuses fanfiction with reality.

I don't have that many stuff happening to me since I am silent one mostly standing in the backgrounds at lives, but I was in the second row at Wing Works and this girl tried to push me away all the time since one of the support members couldn't stop staring at me/or was he flirting who freaking knows maybe she was trying to save me lmao. 
 
Tzk giving a air kiss towards me on a mejibray live at takadanobaba was pretty sweet too. 
 
And this is like no interaction thing but I can't seem to forget that time when Sono (Matenrou Opera) hushed the audience after we have song the Gloria phrase, he hushed us and sang himself in a cappella while Shibuya AX was completely silent. That was magical.

I agree with everything you said, but I think this here is a little bit different, though. 4chan has the whole anonymity thing going for it, so of course it's going to be a volatile cesspool. People can say whatever they want, no matter how outlandish and crass, and have no repercussions. Obviously you don't need to have any sort of personal identity tied to you on MH, but everyone can comb through your post archive. You accumulate a history. Everyone has their own little persona. 
 
 
Ultimately, this is my philosophy. I know what I like, I know what I dislike, and I know what sounds good to me. I'm not trying to change anyone's mind, and really, people are stubborn with their opinions, especially when it comes to music. And unfortunately, I'm one of those people that has a hard time talking about music. It's difficult for me to describe what I like or dislike in a song, so sometimes I feel left out on the discussions anyway, but occasionally I can chime in on things I feel like I can concisely and confidently talk about. It's a happy medium. Less drama, fewer toes stepped on. I like it.
 
A lot of what I wanted to say in response OP has already been said, but I will throw out that I love this website, I really do. I think it's great that we can have this town-hall-esque get together where we can talk about this dumb genre of music that seemingly only a handful of people like. But admittedly, yes, sometimes it can get a little frustrating when people are being contrarian for the sake of being contrarian or are only contributing to a discussion to bait and provoke people. But I think it's important to note that internet culture has changed exponentially within the past half-decade as well. It's become a normality to express things in a satirical, flat, curt-and-to-the-point manner, almost to the point of being insulting. Lest we forget that it's hard to convey emotion through text. I could be wrong, but with short-form media (twitter, microblogging [i.e., tumblr]) becoming more popular, well-thought-out and long-form discussion is phasing out, and you're going to see more troll, "just disband lol" comments more frequently.
 
However, this whole conversation, in the context of any form of media, is murky and wading in incredibly grey waters. As people have mentioned above, music is an extremely subjective thing. At the end of the day, this is what it boils down to, I think.
