Personally, I still listen to VK bands. However, every year the number of new and upcoming bands with originality seem to be less and less.
Last year, I spent amonth or so searching for those "diamond in the rough" VK bands and found a few. My tastes may very from yours, but I share the same sentiments about finding more unique and creative bands.
(I am going to steal Lestalt's formatting, hope that's okay)
● アルルカン - They are a self-proclaimed “新世代名古屋系” band that are trying to bring back an updated version of Nagoya-kei.
● DADAROMA - Heavy and inventive band from Yoshiatsu (ex- Crazy Shampoo).
● DIMDIVISION - If you like 9 GOATS and the like, you might want to check them out.
● DIV - An EDM-rock/pop-VK/metalcore band. Their newest album has them going in a new direction, which is fresh.
● SRASH NOTES GARDEN – A hybrid VK band with singer-songwriter elements. I found out about the band on Sakanagatoreta's blog site (A middle-aged Japanese VK fanboy). You might want to browse his site to check out minor VK bands that a lot of people might not be talking about yet. He literally reviews almost everything that comes out. http://ameblo.jp/sakanagatoreta/entry-11797369774.html
A9's side project, DIAWOLF, is also really different.

You guys win the internet.
Andy looks awesome.
About the "TRE" -- unfortunately no, they're just writing the band name as "GALLO" (they did the same format for the covers of INCUBUS and SUCCUBUS); we're thinking the "TRE" refers to the third album.
Also, BELIAL was just posted on the webshop even though it was supposed to be limited to the live last night. Guess it didn't sell well. Sooooo if you're interested in dropping $20usd on a $6 CD for shipping, haha...

I think most of what I'm about to say has already been said, but just to get my two cents out: I went through this phase of "hating" VK and thinking all bands that were popping out in the scene sounded alike and weren't really good. I'm not gonna dismiss that sentiment because I've seen it happen with plenty of people, although it's still hard to understand the exact reason as to why it happens. It was weird for me to understand it too, especially since I was a fan of the scene for a long time. But after a while, I realized that I needed that "anger" to open up my mind to other stuff and that VK wasn't necessarily the problem. Yes, the current trend of growling and metalcore isn't my favorite as well, but so wasn't oshare. So wasn't nu metal. But every single time I ended up thinking "this isn't for me anymore", I find out there are still bands doing their own thing, trying to be creative, trying to stand out. These bands do exist, and to be fairly honest, you just need to look at the bigger picture. VK, as a scene, has always had diversity at the same time it has lots of younger bands trying to follow the current trend just to stand out among others and get their space. What I mean by all this is: even though the majority of it doesn't seem appealing anymore, just give some time to see that there's still a few bright spots here and there that you'll probably enjoy. At some point you do grow out of following every single aspect of the scene, but that doesn't mean that it's not worthy giving it some attention every once in a while.

I think it's becoming more and more clear with thoughts like this that Visual Kei by itself isn't a genre, but a statement or movement. It similar to fashion; it changes every season and whether you like the latest trends or not, it's what you'll have to bear with. You can wear your old clothes for another year, or you're following the movement with pleasure. It's why I rather wait this movement of Metalcore out until groups to my interest are coming out in small waves again, and until then I stick with what I know.
If you take music genres apart, the essence of them doesn't change much. Thrash metal will remain as such, Death metal will remain as such, as is similar with a lot of other genres. Surely, new groups form and different sounds can be implemented in their compositions, but the core remains there. Visual Kei has established itself around a lot of such genres and we can only wait until one of the few trends in the rotation is chosen as number one again. And you like these genres or not, it's not as simple as selecting a few bands that might sound a little different for some people. If someone doesn't like Metalcore, let them dislike it. There's no chance that pushing it under their noses and saying they'll get by will change their opinion all that much.

even if you leave out the shitty bands that dont know what the fuck they are doing with their instruments there are plenty of bands that have their own sound and are very distinguishable. both big names in vk scene and new bands, as listed above. my opinion tho.
although it is true that some bands go thru the "every song we make sounds the same" phase lol

All those passive agressive comments on Facebook about people not changing their profile pictures are upsetting. If you don't want to change it that's fine, but don't play the 'edgy cool kid' by going on a gigantic rant about how you don't want to change it, it's bringing other people's spirits down a lot.
